AMD and War Selection. increase performance

We hasten to share the good news.

Users of AMD-based video cards met with unreasonably poor performance in our game.

And as it became known, this happens in many other modern games.

The problem that our programmer identified was in the video card driver. We contacted AMD with a detailed description of this issue. After researching, they recognized its presence and took up the correction.

And finally, the fix was added to the global driver update.


If you have an AMD based graphics card, we strongly recommend updating your video card drivers.

Starting with the "Adrenalin 2020 Edition 19.12.2 Recommended (WHQL)", this issue has been fixed and driver update will increase performance of almost all modern games using OpenGL.

Mini patch. Korean language, bugs fix...

Changes:
  • Korean language added to the game
  • Instead of the word "Player" in many places now uses the name of the player
  • Some buildings have changed textures


Bugs fixed:
  • In some situations, units may gradually penetrate walls
  • Transition to the Bronze Age of Asia takes 60 seconds (it was 90)
  • Units with damage in the frontal area do not always deal damage to targets within the affected area
  • A unit can shoot beyond the attack distance if the target moves away
  • Deer do not run away from the enemy towards the edge of the map
  • Machine gunner deals damage in a small area instead of a point
  • The camera cannot be moved lower on the map
  • In some cases, the store does not work
  • By modifying the game script you can read the correspondence of another team
  • In survival mode, opponents continue to appear even after the defeat of all players
  • Grenadier confused projectiles
  • You can select a scene object hidden in the fog of war
  • A large number of workers push each other and cannot initiate the construction of the building
  • Aerostat does not rise high
  • When a boat is highlighted with the ~ button, the idler indicator appears under water

Patch #7. Xmas tree, spearmans bravado, tree destruction, shelling...

Main changes:

  • It is possible to buy Xmass tree ability and use it to place Xmass tree in any match to please all players in it
  • It is possible to buy bravado animation for all Spearmans
  • For participation in the matches "FFA" and "Team match" technology points are awarded (they cannot be used yet)
  • If a unit cannot damage another unit / building, then it cannot be given the appropriate attack order.
  • Battle timer introduced
  • Area damage breaks trees
  • For some units, you can specify the point of shelling
  • When playing on two monitors in full screen mode, the cursor does not leave the monitor with the game
  • The firecracker now explodes three times in a row


Balance:

General:
  • Cows do not appear close to players' starting points


Nature:
  • Bear: damage increased from 8 to 12, pursuit distance increased from 100 to 150
  • Tiger: Movement speed increased from 80 to 100, pursuit distance increased from 100 to 150
  • Boar: damage increased from 6 to 8, pursuit distance increased from 100 to 200


Stone Age:
  • Temple: price reduced from 500 to 400 materials
  • Worker: meat production speed reduced from 1.5 to 1.3
  • Warrior: an improvement in movement speed gives +15 speed instead of +20 earlier, damage reduced from 6 to 5, attack time reduced from 1.0 to 0.9 seconds, training time increased from 10 to 12 seconds.
  • Slinger: movement speed reduced from 60 to 55, training time increased from 10 to 12 seconds.
  • Maceman: removed mass damage upgrade ("Club with spikes")


Early Asia:
  • Spearman: movement speed increased from 60 to 65, armor thickness slightly increased


West Asia:
  • Mamluk: armor thickness slightly increased


East Asia:
  • Springald: maximum attack distance reduced from 180 to 140
  • Horse archer: movement speed reduced from 100 to 90, attack distance reduced from 100 to 80


Abstract country:
  • Cavalryman: Damage to buildings reduced from 25 to 18

Patch 6. Ratings, Menu, Survival Co-Op

Main changes:
  • Added Co-Op Survival game mode
  • Ranked 1v1 game mode
  • Redesigned Main Menu
  • Chat names of players are displayed
  • Players leaving match at the start will not be able to search for a new team match until 10-15 minutes after leaving
  • The mouse cursor has several appearance

  • Slinger: damage for buildings reduced from 8 to 5
  • Maceman: attack now has an area of affect, with overall damage reduced from 12 to 11, and attack speed reduced from 2 to 2.5 sec.
  • Leather shoes: cost increased from 150 to 200 food
  • Temple: Construction prequisite increased from 2 to 4 huts


Early Europe:
  • Worker: berry picking rate increased from 1.0 to 1.1, farming rate increased from 0.7 to 0.8, wood collection rate increased from 0.8 to 0.9, stone collection rate increased from 0.8 to 0.9
  • Legionary: Training time reduced from 60 to 50 seconds.


Early Asia:
  • Worker: berry collection speed increased from 0.8 to 0.9, wood collection speed increased from 0.7 to 0.8


Western Europe:
  • Workshop: cost reduced from 300 to 250 metal
  • Onager: increased line of sight
  • Cannon: cost reduced from 400 to 300 metal
  • Bombardier Ship: attack speed reduced from 10 to 12 seconds, movement speed increased from 45 to 40


Eastern Europe:
  • Workshop: cost reduced from 300 to 150 metal
  • Catapult: increased line of sight
  • Ram: damage increased from 50 to 80, maximum armor increased from 4 to 5, training time decreased from 180 to 150 sec.
  • Cannon: cost reduced from 400 to 350 metal, training time reduced from 180 to 150 sec.
  • Bombardier Ship: attack speed reduced from 10 to 12 seconds, movement speed reduced from 45 to 40


West Asia:
  • Melting house: cost reduced from 700 to 500 metal, and from 700 to 600 building materials
  • Cannon: cost reduced from 600 to 450 metal, training time reduced from 180 to 100 seconds.
  • Sipahk: now attacks twice, attack speed reduced from 1.2 to 1.5 sec
  • Mamluk: now attacks twice, attack speed reduced from 1.2 to 1.5 sec
  • Ram Elephant: building damage increased from 50 to 80
