Team surrender suggestions, anonymous participation, visual updates, bug fixes

In this update, there are many important innovations as well as numerous visual updates.

GENERAL:
  • Introduced the ability to participate in matches anonymously. In this mode, your name is replaced with another
  • A system for team surrender suggestions has been introduced
  • If the team does not surrender, then upon leaving the match with an acceptable chance of winning, a
  • You can now specify a third-party website to which your game match replays will be automatically transferred
  • Blocking a match participant in the chat now persists between sessions

  • Anti-aliasing can be toggled independently of the graphics quality setting


BUG FIXES:

We are constantly working on improving not only the visual representation of the game but also its mechanics and optimization. While some changes may not be as noticeable as model and texture updates, they are the ones that uphold and enhance the very spirit of the game.

New algorithm player matching for team matches

Great news! We have improved the player matching algorithm for team matches.

Now, novice players will not be put into in the same match with strong and experienced players, which will make the games more balanced and interesting.

Only players of similar level will be in the match. Such games will allow all players to better showcase their skills, enriching battles with more engaging strategies and competitive spirit.

Asian Region: Connectivity Issues

We would like to inform you about a situation that may affect the quality of your gameplay if you are located in the Asian region. On April 20th, there was a break in the SEA-ME-WE 5 submarine cable in Southeast Asia, leading to significant deterioration of internet connection in the region.

This could have affected the stability and speed of your connection to our server. According to the providers, the cable repair may last until the end of May. We urge you to be patient and want to assure you that the current connectivity issues in the Asian region are not related to our server's performance.

Hotkey assignments, popular maps, new trees, balance, QoL

You can reconfigure hotkeys in the interface settings.




We have updated the appearance of all the trees. Now they are more detailed, improved animations and diversified the stumps left after cutting down a tree.




Now visualizing the attack availability for terrain attacks




When you highlight one of your units, the expected movement path is shown for that unit

GENERAL:
  • Many hotkeys can now be reconfigured.
  • When creating a private match, a list of popular maps is available.
  • The appearance of all trees has been updated.
  • When you give an order to attack a terrain, a line visualizing the allowable distance from the unit to the cursor is displayed.
  • When you select one of your units, the expected path of movement is shown for it.
  • When viewing replays of matches with more than 4 players, a new victory predictor is used that takes into account the spatial location of troops and buildings.
  • Added the ability to select a main building in the interface with a single click.
  • A main building can no longer be destroyed with the "Delete" hotkey.


BALANCE:
  • All horsemen and elephants have their regeneration rate doubled.
  • The amount of meat in chunks has been increased by 5-6%

  • Swordsman: movement speed reduced from 60 to 57, improvement time to landsknecht increased from 10 to 20 sec, improvement time to squad increased from 10 to 15 sec.

  • Sampan: armor, on average, increased from 1.8 to 2.4, turning speed reduced by 25%
  • Hand ram: damage increased from 35 to 40


Late Europe:
  • Siege ship: health increased from 350 to 400, turning speed reduced by 25%
  • Galeon: health increased from 750 to 800, armor increased from 9.0 to 10.6 on average, turning speed reduced by 10%.
  • Bombardier ship: health increased from 600 to 650, armor increased from 9.0 to 9.8 on average, turn rate reduced by 22%


West Asia:
  • Attack ship: health increased from 700 to 750, average armor increased from 9.0 to 10.6, maximum attack distance of the bow gun increased from 300 to 330, bow gun projectile spread reduced from 15% to 13%, visibility increased from 230 to 270, turning speed reduced by 10%.
  • Cargo elephant: required population reduced from 3 to 2, armor increased from 6.2 to 7.0 on average.
  • Battle elephant: armor increased from 6.2 to 6.8 on average.
  • Elephant-archer: armor increased from 6.1 to 6.8 on average.
  • Elephant-rammer: armor increased from 8.9 to 9.7 on average.

  • University: worker's price increased from 250 to 300 food, engineer's training time decreased from 40 to 30 sec, medic's training time decreased from 40 to 30 sec.
  • Anti-Aircraft Car: turret rotation speed increased by 50%.
  • Trawler: armor is increased from 9.0 to 10.6 on average.
  • Machine-gun trawler: armor increased from 9.0 to 10.6 on average, time between attacks reduced from 4.5 to 4.0 sec.
  • Submarine: depth duration increased from 120 to 150 sec, depth recharge time reduced from 20 to 16 sec, armor increased from 12.6 to 13.4 on average.

  • Sentoku: depth duration increased from 120 to 150 sec, depth recharge time reduced from 25 to 20 sec, armor average increased from 12.6 to 13.4


Hungary:
  • Nimrod: time between shots increased from 4.3 to 4.8 sec.


Persia:
  • Immortal: damage to aviation reduced from 8 to 7

We have updated the appearance of some units, but the most changed are mamluk, sipah and light knight of Eastern Europe.


New faction coloring of units and buildings no longer hides details

GENERAL:
  • Added Slovak language
  • Improved coloring of units with faction colors
  • Friends panel has been added to the menu, which allows joining squads and private games of friends
  • Victory prediction is available when watching replays of team matches and 1x1 matches
  • When designing a wall of an unacceptable size, intermediate wall sections will not be installed and the construction project will be yellow in color
  • Maximum shoal depth has been reduced by 40%, which will reduce shallow water zones
  • Updated appearance of some units


BUG FIXES:
  • In the main building, improvements on the same button were able to be completed non sequentially
  • Eastern European siege ship did not destroy trees and other environment objects
  • Mass damage projectiles did not damage rice
  • Howitzer damage slowed only "live" units and did not slow "vehicles"
  • Bow power improvements had no effect on Guildhall of Western Europe
  • The FCM F1 tank's front turret visually had the direction of the main turret
  • Submarines, while at depth, visually appeared to be on the surface of the water

  • Mammoth: damage increased from 20 to 2x20, time between attacks increased from 3 to 4.5 sec.
