Dear Phageborn community,

Earlier this year we announced that we are working hard on bringing you the new version of our beloved game Phageborn, but that to avoid confusion that at the time the game needed to be removed from Steam. In the end that didn't prove possible, because we realized that the way the Steam rules work if we took the game down it would have been deleted permanently.

Of course, we wanted to avoid that because
- we wanted to make sure that everyone who had supported us got to keep the game
- we would have had to release the new version under a different name and ID

The bottom line is that we felt removing the game would be unfair to you - our most precious community.

It's taken us much longer than it should have to come back and explain that - and we are sorry about that - but hopefully we can show that we are now working towards getting a new release together so we can start delivering an amazing game experience.

For just now the game is still here but we have decided that we need to keep the servers off whilst we work on the next release. The game you deserve.

Those of you who have already purchased the game are our true heroes. Without you, there's no Phageborn.

We will share some details of the new updates over the next few weeks and let you know when the new build is coming - and we hope you will be blown away by it.

The year 2020 has certainly been challenging for everyone, Games Revolted is no exception.

After a struggling year, we managed to reassemble the team and we are working hard on bringing to you an amazing upgraded version of our game.

For technical reasons, the game needs to be taken off of Steam, but hopefully, we will have an awesome new version for you soon.

Dear friends and fans,

Today, Games Revolted made the difficult decision to put all Phageborn Online Card Game related business operations on hold following a challenging period affected by the current situation in our hometown.

Our company, together with its investor has suffered significant damage in the last month.
The unpredictable COVID-19 situation affected our investor greatly due to the nature of their business and, as difficult as it already was, the situation was compounded by the devastating earthquake that hit Zagreb where our offices are located.
The financial damage was too sufficient to keep our company functional and operative.

To make the best out of the extremely difficult situation, we decided to keep the servers running in order to keep the game alive in its current state, as we plan to revive the company once the situation stabilizes.
This means all of you who already own the game will still be able to play it, and the game will remain available on the Steam store with an upcoming discount.

We’re genuinely sad and disappointed not to be able to continue working on Phageborn at this moment and stay on schedule with planned updates and new chapters of the Phageborn story.

The Games Revolted team is extremely proud of releasing Phageborn Online Card Game after 3+ years of development and even more thankful to every single player who tried the game, enjoyed it, took the time to write the precious feedback, participated in our discord discussions or being part of our story in any way.

We hope we will get the chance to bring the game to a stage where we wanted it to be, both development and player-base wise and continue where we left off.
We will continue to seek solutions for this problem and update you should we have any new information.

We present to you Yggron, the Eye of Oblivion.

We have gathered all of the art showcase posts we published in the month of March and hereby present them to you in the order that they were published.

This way we want to acquaint you more with the marvellous and exciting world of Issilith!

1. Khaina



Khaina was a rogue Maiden of the Seer clan. She refused to be a subject of Verdum, and she was imprisoned for her heresy.

A fellow Maiden helped her one night, but only if she promised to come back and dethrone Verdum. Khaina accepted the deal, and with some help she managed to escape the Seer's compound.

She spent years searching for a being she could commune with, one that would be a powerful ally to fight Verdum. She found ancients scripts to summon Carnarium, a mindless fiend that she could control. But the ancient scripts are tricky to read and chant, and Khaina made a small mistake in her accent. Instead of Carnarium, she called his brother Havoc. And since Havoc requires a life to be called, she was forced to give her own. With her last breath, she asked Havoc to grant her one wish: to destroy Verdum.


2. Academy Walker



Zargonia is located near the mountainous regions of Solgard, on the very border of Drakkorith territory. Some of the best Drakkorith architects and engineers study there, so they have some of the most advanced defensive structures in the entire kingdom. Their military academies are no less impressive. Branches of the prestigious Harkon academy are mounted on the backs of massive terradons, a most impressive feat not because of the incredible engineering work and architectural inventions, but because of the fact they manage to keep such titanic beasts calm and obedient, even on the front lines of battle.


3. Orniseth



Drakkorith tales speak of a mysterious beast that appears right before a great battle ends, as an omen of a good fight. This beast is known as Orniseth, the Deathseeker, a mysterious creature that somehow managed to survive the Great Divide ages ago.
The creature emerged as a new kind of predator, one that stalks on souls for sustenance. With its eyesight weakened but sense of smell perfected, it stalks the land in search of stray souls, feasting upon them.


4. Havoc, Bane of Existence



Beneath the deepest parts of the Grotto Depths lies the Underreach, a hellish landscape that cannot be entered nor exited through normal means. Greater fiends that reside here have summoning rituals that can be used from the outside to grant them passage to the world above for a certain time. Havoc is one of these fiends and his ritual is the hardest to find, but due to the difficulty of the language needed to summon those beasts, he is often invoked instead of his brother Carnarium. Because of this, he is not bound to obey his summoner, allowing him to do whatever he pleases for the duration of the ritual.
