Early Access Patch 0.1.8

[h2]Letter from the Team[/h2]

This week we have a few more bug fixes and improvements for the current season.

For newer players, a reminder that our development focus has shifted primarily toward the next major update we outlined in our Early Access roadmap. We are targeting a late August release for that update with a new Class, a new Book, Daily Challenges, and a lot more.

We're working hard on the major update and are excited to get it into your hands. For now, on to the notes!

This patch will be released at approximately 10 am PT (UTC-7) on July 19th, 2023.

[h3]General Fixes[/h3]
  1. Made Orb pickups higher priority compared to loot on the ground to fix issues where a vestige could drop in combat, could be right on top of an orb, but then you couldn't pick up the orb.
  2. Fixed interaction between rare vestige Golden Sails and other vestiges that heal at the end of combat, causing the player to not properly gain AP boost from Golden Sails.
  3. Updated uncommon fish Prickly Puffer: "On being hit, 50% chance to inflict Hex and 50% chance to inflict shattered." >>> "On hitting, 50% chance to inflict Hex and 50% chance to inflict shattered.".
  4. Fixed notification being stuck on screen when triggered right after book select.
  5. Fixed a bug where the Theory of Lost Ink quest to defeat Janus before Training Mode could apply Inky Might was becoming unachievable too early in multiplayer runs.
  6. Fixed Legendary vestige Disassembly Prototype Will buff increasing your max Will but not granting 4 Will on the first turn.

[h3]Mosscloak[/h3]
  1. Fixed Scavenger's Dash ascension Deadly Dance not granting shuriken or crit charges when passing through an ally.

[h3]Clairvoyant[/h3]
  1. Fixed Clairvoyant aura status effects not being removed from players at the end of combat.

Early Access Patch 0.1.7

This week we have a few bug fixes and a mouse movement improvement request that a player made in the Steam forums.

Like last week, this update is smaller compared to prior updates as our development focus has shifted primarily toward the next major update we outlined in our Early Access roadmap. We are targeting a late August release for that update with a new Class, a new Book, Daily Challenges, and a lot more.

[h3]General Fixes[/h3]
  1. Removed separation restrictions when single clicking on top of combat units to move. The player can now move closer to enemy units when moving with single clicks of the mouse. (This type of movement was already possible when moving your character with keyboard inputs.)
  2. Fixed a bug where rarely on Unranked Dives, when the player is on a win streak, the run would use slightly higher enemy stats, resulting in them doing more damage.
  3. Fixed Regeneration healing based on the source's stacks instead of the target's.
  4. Fixed Vigor status effect incorrect description: "On being hit, restore 1 HP and lose 1. On end of turn lose all stacks. Max 10 stacks." >>> "On hitting, restore 1 HP and lose 1 stack. On end of turn lose all stacks. Max 10 stacks.

[h3]Weaver[/h3]
  1. Fixed Controlled Weaving not being granted to the player correctly if an enemy dies at the end of a previous turn that causes you to gain Controlled Weaving.

[h3]Clairvoyant[/h3]
  1. Added clarification to Psychic Pulse rare augment Damage Aura: "On use, deal 25 magic damage ..." >>> "On using any Binding, deal 25 magic damage...

  1. Fixed bug with Stunning Ghostquills quest not working. Changed to Dazed.
  2. The Splinter Blotter enemy should again correctly apply 'Amplification' to the player, causing increased incoming damage.
  3. Added some missing tooltips to a few binding augments.

[h3]Obelisk[/h3]
  1. Updated Ironclap epic augment Heavy Ironclap to be consistent with other 'inflict' augments. Inflicts Crush directly instead of on hit. Can now inflict if enemy dodges.
  2. Updated Seismic Slam common augment Dense Seismic Slam to be consistent with other 'inflict' augments. Inflicts Crush directly instead of on hit. Can now inflict if enemy dodges.

[h3]Clairvoyant[/h3]
  1. Fixed Spirit bomb rare augment Surging Spirit Bomb showing up as common instead of rare.

[h3]Draftable Bindings[/h3]
  1. Updated Jinx uncommon augment "Critical Jinx: +15 crit chance" >>> "+6 crit chance, +100 critdamage".
  2. Updated Jinx uncommon augment "Crippling Jinx: +35 crit damage" >>> "Quickened Jinx: -1 cooldown".
  3. Fixed Cultivate common augment Cultivated Vitality only healing when you have the Cultivated Shields common augment.

[h3]Vestiges[/h3]
  1. Fixed Taetra Twin description saying "35% chance" instead of "50% chance".
  2. Fixed Legendary vestige Window to Eternal Longing procing outside of combat.
  3. Updated Epic vestige Dice of Fate tooltip to make it easier to read.
