Hi EFAS players and followers:


First of all, thanks a lot to the players asking if we are doing ok during this extremely hardcore situation caused by the new Coronavirus. We are fine, and we are working from home so that you can continue enjoying EFAS! The winter is almost over but since we are all quarantined at home we actually don't know a lot about outside weather, but! We know a lot! About the bugs you are having fun with! So right now, I'm going to announce this week's version content as well as a preview of the big update coming next week!


Alpha 19.1 - 2020/02/21 UTC 6:00 AM
Changelog:
  • Fixed an issue where after defeating a Boss the drop would be generated "a little too violently" (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where in specific cases it was impossible to replace already equipped active chips (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where the damage colors wouldn't been displayed correctly in certain situations (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed several issues in the chips descriptions (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Acid Spitter modules drop rate was higher than expected (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Wingus would from time to time blocked inside of walls (Players Feedback*).

[h3]Chips[/h3]
  • Chip Slot +1 (You can finally increase the upper limit of passive chips you can equip! (Max. 20));
  • Armor Weakening (Enemies inflicted by Weaken effect will see their armor damaged and received increased damage).

[h3]Particle FX[/h3]
  • Rainbow weapon now have a cool FX! Really cool trust me!;
  • Melee FX while being under Knight's Belt effect has been replaced;
  • Eternal Gloves now has an activation FX.

Enemies skills - New Whirlpool skill (Creates an storm area that reduces with time and pull the players in the center of the area as well as inflicting damage);

HUD - A new radar has been added to current HUD to display current enemies/allies locations;

Altar - Altars has been added to the game (Giving random temporary buffs, better take time looking for them~).

[h3]Gameplay[/h3]
  • Increased walking speed;
  • Increased running speed;
  • Increased jetpack rising speed;
  • Increased jetpack gas consumption speed.

Chips - Modified Destructive Curse chip (Destruction effects are now based on the stats of the original effect);

Poor Ajax - Finally can relay Bouncing Lightning effects (please try to be gentle with them!);

Boss - Removed the red outline on the Boss model.

  • Fixed Quick Activation chip (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue with Wingus critical damage calculation (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Ultimate Grenades would directly heal full HP full Shield (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Throwing Potion effect would be unexpectedly high (Players Feedback*).

Hi EFAS players and followers:


And... we are back after a pretty long Chinese New Year vacations! I guess you all heard about this extremely bad news concerning this new virus. And since we're based in China, it's a pretty big issue for us. So, after several workflow changes, we're ready to continue working on this game you are all waiting updates for! We still have members being quarantined so sadly several problems might need some time to be solved, but don't worry, everything will be alright!

We've had a lot of players spending an incredible amount of time (mainly Chinese players because we are to stay at home) testing the game and we got an unbelievable amount of feedback and great ideas. To be honest, because there is a lot of feedback to process, our game designers are starting to lose hairs too (and our devs are happy about it ofc), so you will be seeing more and more interesting updates coming to you every week! But right now, let's first go through this week version's content!

  • Thorned skill FX;
  • Reflect Dmg skill preparation FX (so that you know before it actually activates).


Skills - Enemies skills will change colour depending on the skill state (red="disabled", orange="activates in 3s", green="active");

UI - HUD now displays current rank;

Damage display - Inflicting reduced damages will now be displayed in gray colour.

  • Rotating Shields will now be independent from enemy rotation (Players Feedback*);
  • Hatred will now be stacked only on the enemy having the skill and not all the enemies in the effect area (Players Feedback*).


Drops - Improved drop physics behaviours and greatly reducing the possibility of not being able to pick it up (Players Feedback*);

Enemies - Wingus flying speed has been reduced (Players Feedback*).

  • Fixed an issue where players could get stuck in a spot in the Underground Cave (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Wingus could fly through walls (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Armor Break could be stacked (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Boss with Illusionist skill might spawn full HP copies when dying (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where active chip could not be replaced (Players Feedback*).

Hi EFAS players and followers:


Here we are, on a special update just before the Chinese New Year. We were all working on EFAS while you were having fun with your friends and family, but now it's our turn [super weird evil laugh]!

We will not update the game during the holidays and we will be back with a new version on the &th of February (but be wary, some good news might be sent on discord during the holidays, try not to miss that out :p !).

So, it's only been three working days since the last update but still, we want to share as much as possible with you, that's why in this update we are mainly fixing bugs (finally the insta-kill bug is fixed!!!!!!), adding lots of awesome/super-cool/epilepsy-inducing new particle effects, and some big changes in the active chips and dash features. Let's have a look at this version's content!

Chip - Active chips are now limited to 4. Whenever the 4 slots are full, picking up a new active will let you choose which one you want to replace;
Dash - Using ctrl for dashing doesn't consume energy and has a cooldown instead.

  • Fixed an issue where players would be insta-killed by the Thorned skill (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where rapidly using Q and F would reset melee animation cooldown (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Reflect Damage Skill would reflect damages from any incoming source (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Illusionist copies would stack nearby enemies Anger (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Illusionist skill would not trigger if the enemy count in the scene already reached the limit max (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Heracles would not have any weak point (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where after beating Heracles, the portal would appear but Heracles wouldn't disappear (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Acid Flow hit particle effect would continue to play indefinitely (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where the Grenade Launcher standard attack would not trigger Blitz (Players Feedback*).

Earth From Another Sun - 2020/01/17 Content Update

Hi EFAS players and followers:


Are you having fun with the brand new Acid Spitter? At least I had loads of fun playing with the Acid Affinity chip, it was like linking light probes in the Game Editor xD. In this update we are adding a real "imma firin mah lazer" chip called Acid Flow, and we replaced a lot of particles and sounds effects. The multiplayer mode has also being reduced from 4 players to 2 players for a better stability (will be set back to 4 after we are done with networking optimizations). Enough of blah blah, let's get into this new version detailed changelog together!

  • Reduced rotation speed of Rotating Shields;
  • Reduced the energy accumulated by defeating a Theridon;
  • Balanced the fight duration average of different enemies;
  • Balanced Acid Spitter modules damages (Acid Spillage, Acid Flow, Acid Affinity);
  • Reduced damages of Neo Armstrong Cyclone Jet Armstrong Cannon;
  • Reduced Hatred accumulated buff percentage;
  • Balanced Elite enemies ratio.

First of all we are sorry to announce that this update will not contain the gameflow changes we talked about in the previous temporary changelog. The main reason is that one of our dev just became a father, thus he had to go home and happily take care of his little package, the other reason is a small change in our task's priorities. With all these unexpected events happening we decided not to put the current gameflow changes in this new version because it's yet far from completion. But still, it's not like we have nothing to share with you, so let's have a look at this new version content!
