Bug Fix Update and Announcement!

Hi EFAS players and followers:


In the last update there was an issue where our radar would not display anything and we're sorry about that. After a long week end during which our devs continued to analyse the situation, the issue has finally been fixed. A small version update will be released at 2020/03/16 UTC 10:00 AM patching above issue!

Moreover, we also decided to go back to a biweekly update format. In the week following the version release, we will keep sending a preview of the upcoming update content. We believe that this will greatly help our team bringing you even more interesting content during update days!

03/13 Update - New backpack, bumpers and... Parkinson Trees! Wait... wut?!?

Hi EFAS players and followers:


We've heard the sad news about the Coronavirus starting to contaminate a lot of people outside China. I hope all of you and your friends and family will be alright. Don't go out too much and remember to take enough measures for your safety. To be honest, I think it's the perfect time to stay home and play games, right? So, don't worry we're here and we have new content for you. Our maps are getting more and more content, there are new bumpers and even crazy trees that kind of have Parkinson... (don't ask me why -_-||). And we also have an awesome new backpack interface! I hope you will like it!! Enough of small talk, let's go through this version content!

  • New trap system;
  • New tree trap inflicting area damage and knock-back players and enemies.


UI - New awesome backpack interface;

Enemy skill - New Frozen skill (will randomly create ice blocks in the area around the enemy that will explode after some time, inflicting area damages as well as a movement speed debuff);

Bumper - A new bumper that will project players will now replace the temporary elevators;

Game Mode - Survival Mode (since we deleted it, adding it back counts ad a new feature, right? Totally legit!).

  • Teleporter Icon has been revamped for improved visibility on bright background;
  • Boss Icon has been revamped for improved visibility on bright background.


Chips - Armor break can now only stack up to 10 times;

Altars - Spawn locations have been changed;

Chests - Spawn locations have been changed.



[h2]——Bug fixes:[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where movement speed in air and on the ground would change abruptly (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Reflect Dmg and Shield skills particle FX would be bigger than expected (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to fire with the Acid Spitter even while having only 1 round and being equipped with Acid Flow (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where the enemies would be stuck inside the Altar pillars (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Anti-Personnel Missile and Tracking Rounds would in certain cases not effectively follow target enemies (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where the teleporter gate would be extremely hard to see in the Astral Spirit Snowfield (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where the Shield value, in certain cases, would not increase as it should (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where enemies would not attack (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where falling out of the Special experiment: Desperate battle zone would not necessarily teleport you back to the boss area (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where altar buff would be invalid in certain cases (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where there was no walking sounds in certain areas (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Ultimate Grenades would not destroy Cruel Hitlin eggs (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Silver Rounds would not penetrate enemy shield (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Deployable Shield would not block Vespid attacks (Players Feedback*).




[h2]——Known issues:[/h2]
Radar - The coloured pens our radar used for drawing enemies locations were put on a new Bumper and were sent into orbit. We are deeply sorry and currently looking for them.

I'm sorry to announce that because of some bugs being extremely resistant to fixes, today's version will be delayed from 2020/03/13 UTC 6:00 AM to 2020/03/13 UTC 10:00 AM. But don't worry, this version will have a happy ending! Why such confidence you ask? It's because our devs already sacrificed lots of precious hairs and according to D&D battle bonus rules (you have to trust me here!) this is an enormous bonus to bug fix stat, it's almost equivalent to sacrificing a whole village to summon a demon!

03/06 Update - Fixes and next week update content preview!

Hi EFAS players and followers:


There was a pretty awkward issue... and sometimes the Boss decided not to show himself. So, we talked with him, and it really was because he was shy, we made some tweaks in his personality.conf file and he now shows every time you clear a rank. We're sorry about that and we will stop writing AI based on our developers' personalities. Compensation is in order, so since you all think that 18 ranks are not enough, in next week update we will add back the Survival Mode (which got lost during the Sanctuary renovation)! What about we go through this week update content and then we'll have a look at next week version's content!

  • Fixed an issue where sometimes the Boss would not show up even when the progress bar attained 100% (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue in multiplayer where teammates health bars would be obstructed by the new passive chips display (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Shield, Whirlpool and Reflect Dmg skills would have a bigger particle FX than expected (Players Feedback*);

  • New events will be triggered while playing giving choices to the player (this will mainly be our way to bring story and NPCs into the game, content will be add little by little);
  • Through some events choices, you can now acquire weapons, passive and active chips as well as limit extension chip;
  • Through some events choices, you can reduce/increase current HP, HP/Shield max, NanoBucks and DNA.

Who said 10 chips were not enough for a decent build? Yeah, you might have a point here but don't worry! In this new update we've got an awesome new chip that will increase your passive chip limit by 1 (from 10 up to 15), exciting right?!? And I have an even more exciting news, THE RADAR that you asked for some time already (like.... since the first version maybe? (tongue)) is finally here!!! See? We do listen to your incredible feedback and make your wishes happen, so don't stop, keep it coming, even if the list is super long, we will gladly continue to fill it with your suggestions!   • Chip Slot +1 (You can finally increase the upper limit of passive chips you can equip! (Max. 15)) (Players Feedback*);

Altars - Altars has been added to the game (Giving random temporary buffs, better take time looking for them~).

  • Modified Destructive Curse chip (Destruction effects are now based on the stats of the original effect);
  • Modified several chips descriptions and values;
  • Modified appearance rates of Eleven 7 items.


Poor Ajax - Finally can relay Bouncing Lightning effects (please try to be gentle with them!) (Players Feedback*);

Boss - Removed the red outline on the Boss model;

Sounds - Change sound logic so that while being low on health after a moment the heartbeat sound will stop playing (Players Feedback*).

  • Fixed an issue where quickly aiming at another item during the last second of the purchasing progress bar would end up on purchasing the second item (Players Feedback*);

  • Fixed an issue where the enemies skill ON/OFF timers would not be completely synced with the display under the enemy health bar (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where melee-ing a Theridon would make the player bounce back (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue with Wingus critical damage calculation (Players Feedback*);
  • Fixed an issue where Ultimate Grenades would directly heal full HP full Shield (Players Feedback*);

  • Fixed an issue where attacking with hammer would not display damage correctly (Players Feedback*);
