Update 89: Suit up!

[h2]Version 89 is finally here![/h2]

(A lot of work we did this patch will show next patch hence why this patch is a little bit lighter in content than usual)[/h2]


[h3]Patch notes:[/h3]

  • Players can now change their exosuits at will THE SERAPHIM AND GORILLA EXOSUITS ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN-GAME FOR BACKERS

  • Companions are back!

  • New rifle weapon core: S.I.M.O
    -Zoom X 4
    -When zooming the interval between shots is reduced
    -When zooming the recoil of the weapon is increased
    -Each shot consumes 5 bullets but deals 5 times the damade
    -The weapon becomes semi-automatic

  • New battlefield!

  • Encounters (fights after encountering NPCs in space) will now use different locations depending on where you are (not always the asteroid belt)

  • Discarding items now deletes them (no capsule)

  • Enemies in encounters will now spawn in random locations (not always in front of you but could be split into different groups)

  • New fire special effects

  • RAM issues
  • should* be fixed

  • Incorrect version alerts (playing with an old version) will now display the version number of your version. If you encounter this issue, please use this number to report the problem in-game or on discord so we can figure out how it happened.

Update 87 To Victory!

[h3]Missions:[/h3]
  • Added 3 new chapters to the main quest
  • New side missions have been added

Weapons:[/h3]
  • FAMAS Rifle recoil, firing speed adjusted
  • FAMAS Rifle scope speed adjusted
  • Melee weapons speed and animations were adjusted

  • New Rift spawn sound effect

  • Menus now respond faster

Update 86: New Arsenal

[h2]CAPTAIN, WE HAVE NEW WEAPONS TO TRY, NOW'S THE TIME TO PLAY![/h2]

[h3]Weapons[/h3]
  • 2 new weapons, the Rifle and the Knife OUR FIRST MELEE WEAPON.



[h3]Space[/h3]
  • New floating city
  • Pems now have "ships" and can attack you
  • New type of pirate fleet
  • The "Pirate Killer" buff (pirates flee seeing you) now triggers after 5 victories against pirates
  • Debuffs can now stack in multiplayer (over-encumbered)
  • Audio warning if your backpack is full
  • The space map now showcases mining and recycling points
  • NPC fleets are now affected by the overall level of the area they are in (growth of the fleet)
  • Pressing C now opens the synthesis menu


[h3]Quests[/h3]
  • Completed quests will now flash to showcase they are complete and can be redeemed
  • Stronghold (Planets, stations...) will now show if a quest is available before landing

[h3]Sound effects[/h3]


  • New fleet battles sound effects
  • New landing sound effects
  • New sound effects for unlocks and proficiency level upgrades
  • New enemies shooting/exploding sound effects (Famas soldiers, simian units, almost all pems, most pirates, bipedal mech and tanks)
  • New sound effects for leveling, mining, learning a skill, questing and recycling
  • New sound effect for walking on water/wet ground


[h3]Battlefields[/h3]
  • Enemy ships will now flee after the army is defeated (prevents from farming weapon proficiency on space ships that can be bullet sponges with a weak weapon)
  • New victory screen


[h3]Multiplayer[/h3]
  • Attacking NPCs will now trigger a vote
  • At the moment only the host can trigger certain events, these will trigger a prompt telling non-host players to wait for the host


[h3]The rest[/h3]
  • More daily quests are available
  • Slight changes to the EXP bar
  • The red circle will now be more visible when close to the edges
