Hello fellow admirals,

We had to respond to your continuous feedback regarding some remaining issues of the game. The following few but very important improvements are offered:

Optimization Update v1.5.1.0*
- Further optimized processes to prevent potential bugs caused by UI update or targeting.
- Battle AI adjustments.
- Fixed insane funds bonus given to player when making his own fleet at the start of campaign. Now it is time to play truly fair vs the AI in campaign (not hunt it down with countless premade BB at the start of the campaign). This change will affect only new campaigns when you choose to design your own fleet and is also an aid for new players because they could make so many ships that initially their economy would not be able to support them.

Very soon we will announce something that should excite most of you that currently enjoy Ultimate Admiral: Dreadnoughts.

Uploaded optimized version including the following:
- Fixed rare but also critical error of shell calculations which could cause a code exception when fighting at very large ranges. This error could cause the game to hang after some time.
- Fixed potential error of formation logic, causing formation points to desync and some ships of the division to zig zag indefinitely. This issue could happen more often when placing all ships of a fleet in one "super" division of more than 10x ships, something that normally should not be allowed in the game, but is preserved to please a small portion of players that use this ability. Please note, that it is NOT efficient, therefore it is not advised to place all of your ships in one division. If your ships delay to assume a working formation it happens because you give an unrealistic command expecting all ships to instantly take a position and create a 20+ km line of 100 ships....

Update v1.5.0.9 Optx4

Hey Admirals,

We have fixed and improved further things which you have recently mentioned in your feedback. Please read:

Optimization Update v1.5.0.9
- Further fixes/optimizations addressing cases that could cause ships to not be able to move or freeze due to a bug or not responding to commands. Players who anticipate such issues, please check in your game settings to limit the fps or enable VSync or check your graphic card settings to not overclock.
- Fixed repeated requests for alliance by nations who are at war with an ally. Those nations will have a limit of relations up to 50 during their war status with an ally so they will not be able to ask for an invalid alliance with a friend of their enemy.
- Fixed old issues causing a nation to dissolve prematurely due to economic collapse. The problem became evident after the latest improvements in the transport capacity mechanics and now the campaign's economy should be at its best state ever.
- Improved Battle AI overall, to keep a decisive shooting/attacking range.
- Improved targeting mechanics, especially the targeting from the side guns. Ships should auto-aim even more efficiently.

- Increased the initial distance in mission "Sink the Raiders" (Due to the latest AI improvements it was almost impossible to defend the transports quickly enough).

- Fixed critical bug that caused ships to reset their screen/scout/follow status and move forwards. We are sorry for this temporary inconvenience which was brought by last night's update.
- Fixed rare issue which could cause ships to start a campaign battle with the desire to stop movement (unless the player gave any other command. This bug could be caused in specific map coordinates.
- Fixed, hopefully, the last reason related to AI logic that could cause damage calculations to fail and cause ships to freeze and the game to stop functioning. This could happen very rarely, depending on frame rate and fast forward of time.

At this point, we think that v1.5+ is stable and enjoyable for all players. We will provide more minor updates only if it is needed.

Uploaded optimized version x4 including the following:
- Further optimization, fix of a potential issue in AI logic which could cause AI to slow down too much, and become an easy target, or cause speed freeze bugs or cause a rare target reset. If a player still has issues with manual targeting becoming overridden by auto-target, he has to verify that he orders ships that are not in AI command and the target is in range.
- Further optimization in Battle UI update logic. Battle fps increases further. It is advised to check and reset the game's graphics settings or disable any overclocking in case you have very high fps problems, that could potentially cause bugs to the game.

Update v1.5.0.8 Optx2

Hello Admirals,

We have improved the game with the following:

Optimization Update v1.5.0.8
- Further battle fps optimization. Fixed lag caused due to UI refresh when selecting a ship. Other optimizations increase the battle fps smoothness, even when a battle includes many ships. Note: We have investigated and seen a freeze issue when loading modified versions of the game. Please do not report bugs to us when you modify in any way the game files because it is not helpful at all.
- Improved AI division logic. AI ships will now more actively protect the transports. Scout/Screen divisions will maintain a safer distance from enemies and move closer to the main formation.
- Reduced GDP growth penalty due to war and increased the impact of Transport Capacity losses in GDP Growth. As a result, wars will not suddenly impact negatively a player but transport losses will be more severe to growth, especially to players who neglect guarding their seas and choose to make one unrealistic huge fleet of battleships to win every battle engagement.
- Improved Transport Capacity gain or loss according to GDP to be more dynamic.
- Submarines became much more capable in hurting the transports and to defend themselves. Submarines remain fragile vs surface ships with good ASW and depth charges but their strategic role is now in the proper base.
- Balanced Campaign AI to be more productive overall.
- Balanced ship pitch/roll mechanics. Previously the small ships could roll too much.
- Balanced guns friendly fire mechanics to not be so strict as before, to evaluate more accurately when to make guns not fire when friendlies are close.
- Fixed minor border issues in the region of west Africa.
- Further auto-design optimizations.
- Other minor improvements.

- Fixed possible formation issues, ships not being able to turn and move in straight line for too long or failing to switch to new leader.
- Minor optimizations related with the division UI logic, which could possible cause a freeze bug depending on random player actions.
- Improved AI speed management when travelling in a division (previously it could slow down too much and become an easy target).
- Fixed minor ship part issues reported kindly by Dante S. Lancaster (forum name).

Hello Admirals,

We offer a small update which should definitely improve your overall gameplay experience. The following three things are made:

Optimization Update v1.5.0.7
- Targeting optimizations, affecting battle fps positively, also preventing some rare memory issues in low-end systems.
- Further improvement of torpedo friendly fire mechanics to work better with the new division logic.
- Fixed inconsistent oil resources calculations which could create an overflow of oil for all major nations. This fix will affect your saves but in most cases it will be a positive change, since your enemies will not be so powerful financially without reason.
