Patch 2.1.4 Anchor and Shield Counter Added. Damage nerfed. Map changes.

Generally lowered the damage across the board to make the game less bursty and give new players a better chance to use their abilities. Also two new abilities and 8 new cosmetics.

Reworked Keybindings, Check before playing!
Now Q/E/R/LMB/RMB are Ability1/2/3/4/5 respectively. If you set your keybindings you'll want to adjust them again because they will be pointing to the wrong place. If you never touched them, you should have no problems.


New Abilities:
Anchor:
- Throw an anchor at your opponent. After hitting them three times a ghostly anchor will attach to them and keep them in the area.

ShieldCounter:
- Puts a shield up for 4.5s that will protect you from the next projectile and then fly off in the direction you are facing phasing through the environment and continuing to block additional projectiles dealing 20 damage if it hits a player. 5s Cooldown.

New Chromas (thanks to bamf):
- Genghis Khan 3 New, all updated.
- Erik the Red 3 New
- Arthur 1 New (only 60 gold!)
- Alexander 1 New (only 60 gold!)

New Effect Icons:
- We've added a bunch of new effect icons to the game. Now you'll know which abilities are affecting you and when they will fall off.
Very important for the new ability.

Map changes:
- It should be a lot easier to get to hard to reach places. Most walls now have a path up on top of them. This should help newer players significantly. It should also open up more build diversity as you don't HAVE to take abilities to get you up there to kill people.
- Your teammate should reliably show up on your map and mini-map

Balance Changes:
Overall we are aiming to slow the rate of killing down. As players have become better they are killing way too fast. This should allow more time for strategic play and more time for newer players to use their abilities.

BlackHole:
- DoT 1.5 -> 1.0

Boomerang:
- Damage 20 - 17

BouncingBomb:
- Cooldown 1s -> 2s
- No longer slides as far [should be a bit easier to hit via explosion]

Cosmic Shards:
- Damage 30 -> 25

Fireball:
- Initial Damage 15 -> 10
- Collision reworked a bit to make it harder to hit around corners.

Firerain:
- DoT 4 -> 3

Flamethrower:
- Damage 5 -> 4
- Duration 5 -> 6s

FrostArrow:
- Damage 25 -> 20

Ground Wave:
- Damage 15 -> 10

HomingSpheres:
- Damage 12 -> 10

Hook:
- Damage 15 -> 10
- Believe to have fixed the bug where it can pull them to the wrong location. Please report if you continue to see this.

ImpalingShot:
- Cooldown 3 -> 3.5s
- Kills will no be properly credited

Kickback:
- Damage 20 -> 15

Knockup Punch:
- Damage 20 -> 15

Laserbeam:
- Damage 25 -> 20

RisingWall:
- Duration 11s -> 7s
- Cooldown 12s -> 8s

Smokebomb:
- Damage 20 -> 15

SpearThrow:
- Damage 25 -> 20
- Cooldown 3.5s -> 4.0s

SpikeSmash
- Damage 20 -> 15

Sprint:
- Speed 250% -> 200%

Swordslash:
- Cooldown 2 -> 3.5s

Tornado:
- Cooldown 6.5 -> 5.5s

Whirlwind:
- DoT 4 -> 3
- Duration 5 -> 6s

WaterOrb
- Now properly bounces of shields
- WaterOrb Damage 20 -> 15

Bugfixes:
- Attempted a few fixes that might resolve server crashes. None of the new logging showed anything so we are unsure of root cause.
- Performance enhancements and better stability of ability orbs
- Performance enhancements around health bars since they are now in cpp
- Performance enhancements from Alexander/Arthur using new material instances now that we've tested the changes
- Matchmaking should be much more resilient and fewer players should fail to get into game and get infinite queues. If you see any matchmaking errors please report them.
- Improved collision detection for projectiles hitting the environment. Hit effects should play more reliably and hitting someone around a corner should be more difficult.

Patch 2.1.3 - Smokescreen, Grapple, and ImpalingShot added! BH/FR Nerf

Summary: 3 all new abilities! Smokescreen, ImpalingShot, and Grapple. All suggested by the community. Also nerfing the shit out of Blackhole/Firerain flying. May nerf further.

New Abilities:

Smokescreen:
- Cast a GIANT smokescreen that prevents vision checks that lasts for 5 seconds.
- Cooldown: 5s

ImpalingShot:
- A projectile that pushes the enemy. If the enemy collides with another player or wall, they take bonus damage.
- Hit Damage: 10 Bonus Damage: 15 Cooldown: 3s Push: 2000 over 1s

Grapple:
- A projectile that will pull yourself to anywhere on the map or towards a player. Will even follow players if they use mobility spells.
- Hit Damage: 15 Cooldown: 8s MaxRange: 4000

Blackhole:
- Range 3000 -> 2000

Firerain:
- Range 3000 -> 2000
- No longer hits below where it was cast. Will fix particles later which still fall all the way down.

ForwardDashAttack:
- Can no longer double jump after cast
- Falling rate 1000 -> 1500

Smokebomb:
- Can no longer double jump after cast
- Falling rate 500 -> 1000

Air Control:
- Air control has been reduced by 25%

Bugfixes:
- Doublejump lag issues should be mostly resolved, let us know with clips if you are still experiencing it
- Attempted to fix server crashes. If you notice any please let us know asap so we have the timestamp and can look directly at the right logs.
- Item pickup text should not show when other players are near.
- Spectating people using movement abilities should be smoother
- Overall movement abilities should be smoother and behave better

Patch 2.1.2 New Chromas and Balance

- Has max range of 4000.
- Will pull you to players or the environment.
- Does 10 damage and has an 8 second cooldown.

Blackhole:

- Cast time 0.2 -> 0.3
- Damage per Tick 2 -> 1

Patch 2.1.1 Server performance improvements, Beam wall jumping nerfed

Summary: Fixing an issue that made some servers run slower. Reducing Laserbeam/Wall meta. Normalizing the size of projectiles.

Bug: Fixed a bug that would cause some instances of the game to last forever and eat up 98% of the CPU. This should make the servers run a bit more smoothly.

Boomerang, FrostArrow, and HomingSpheres have been normalized to have the same hitbox as CosmicShards.

ArrowVolley:
- Speed 12000 -> 15000
- Gravity disabled

BouncingBomb:
- Fixed a few bugs with the wrong sound cues playing.

Laserbeam:
- Damage 30 -> 25
- CastTime 1.25 -> 1.5
- Range 7500 -> 5000

RisingWall:
- Duration 9.5 -> 11
- Cooldown 10 -> 12
- Jump height significantly reduced

GroundWave:
- Significantly increase height. You'll need to double jump to get over it now.

Patch 2.1.0 Duos Enabled, Major Balance Patch

Summary: Duos are now enabled! Removing solos to ensure a healthy queue. Major balance changes to reduce damage in the game.

Duos are enabled. If you are not both on the play screen when the party leader hits play your party may be split up. Be sure you are both back to the play screen.

Balance notes: With the approach of duos we are lowering DPS across the board of easier to hit abilities to ensure fights last a healthy amount of time.

Out of Combat Healing will now take half the time to heal you to full. (duration out of combat need not changed)
Dragon Healing while trying to return to spawn reduced from 5 to 1. Want to correct this behavior in the future.

Antiprojectile Shield:
- Boomerang will now correctly bounce off the shield
Fireball:
- Cast Time 0.1 -> 0.2s
- Burn Damage Per Tick 2.5 -> 2
- Cooldown 3 -> 3.5s

FireRain:
- Cooldown 4 - 6s

ForwardDashAttack:
- You will now start falling faster after using it in the air.

Hook:
- Damage 10 -> 15

KnockupPunch:
- Cooldown 4 -> 5s

Laserbeam:
- Damage 40 -> 30

Meteor:
- Damage 25 -> 20
- Cooldown 5.5 -> 6s

RisingWall:
- Duration 12 -> 9.5s This is just to stop stacking. Expect more changes soon.
- Cooldown 8 -> 10s

Smokebomb:
- You will now start falling faster after using it in the air.

SpearThrow:
- Damage 30 -> 25

Swordslash:
- Damage 15 -> 10
- Speed 1750 -> 1500

WaterOrb:
- Now has gravity.
- It is now harder to hit multiple times instantaneously with water orb.


Bugfix:
- Players should no longer get extra teammates past the queue limit. (now 2)
- Daily reward prompt should no longer show unless you've actually earned it
- FPS for new players is now capped at 240 FPS and changed 120 FPS option to 144 FPS option. Going past 240 often has bad side effects.


Duos FAQ:
Q: Where is solo?
A: We only have enough players for one queue right now so it won't be available.

Q: What if I have no friends?
A: We'll be trying to fill teams up over leaving people solo. You will occasionally be the odd person out and be solo though.

Q: I got into a game without my friend, why?
A: Be sure your friend is on the play button screen before you hit play. They should see the countdown timer as well. If they don't, cancel and requeue.

Q: Can I damage my teammate?
