Update 2.1.295. Plague Island. Part ⅠⅠⅠ



[h3]Plague Island:[/h3]
- The ability to bring plague to the Main Continent has been enabled.
- Added quests on Plague Island. The main chain of these quests starts at the port.
- Added the last area - Infected Bog (we plan to add a dungeon here later).
- Added a world boss and new monsters.
- A final reward chest has been added to the forest dungeon.
- Added several new items of equipment that can only be obtained from loot.

[h3]Improvements:[/h3]
- Now books give a temporary effect of increasing the gained experience of skills. The percentage of the experience and the duration of the effect depend on the level of the book. Quality affects the final time.
- Improved display of actions in NPC windows.
- Snow removed (we plan to add it later when we finally set it up).
- Reconfigured the frequency of weather chances by seasons (there will be more sunny days).
- Added a tanner's tool for the active skill "Save tools", instead of a knife.
- Guardian animals were removed from the starting island when mining resources.
- Lowered the level for crafting a Build Set of hides for building a ship on the starting island.
- Updated some icons, added explanatory texts.
- Added one more musical composition for the battle.
- Added more sounds to animals and monsters.
- Fixed ending of some attack animations.

[h3]Optimization and Bug fixes:[/h3]
- Fixed a situation where pets could push the player.
- Fixed bugs of the Black Wolf pet.
- Fixed spawn points in the city when using the guide.
- Fixed a bug due to which the skinning settings for some large monsters did not correspond to their amount of loot.
- Fixed incorrect fishing spots.
- Fixed UI bugs in the auction section "Bets"
- Fixed the minimap of the forest dungeon.
- Fixed the graphics of the big bonfire.
- Fixed a bug due to which the text at the back button in the crafting window disappeared when scaling the interface.
- Now the display of bonuses in the skill book is more accurate (for example, 0.75% is not rounded to 0.8% as it was before).
- Optimized the graphics of players' stone structures.
- Optimized processing of additional cameras responsible for the minimap and equipment window.
- Optimized rendering of vegetation.
- Fixed light settings on Plague Island.

Hello friends! Many thanks to everyone who plays Wild Terra 2 and supports us!

We are working on a major update coming out on November 25th. Not all of the listed changes will be ready by this date, and some of them will be included in the next update.

[h3]What are we working on?[/h3]

- Quests. The Plague Isle quest chain, as well as new functionality that will allow us to add new changeable quests for all continents, including the main one. Fulfilling NPC requests and orders and receiving rewards.
- The final location of the Plague Isle with new monsters, a world boss and loot.
- Increase in the territory of the Mainland. Two zones will be added, which will increase the continent's territory by about 40%. A significant part of these territories will be given for development (also in the PvP zone!), The other part will contain previously existing biomes, resources and opponents, but there will also be several territories with new content.
- Some unpopular consumables will become more relevant. Through pleasant effects, not negative ones.
- Performance improvement. Easier rendering of player buildings and some general performance improvements that can have a noticeable effect. Also, in the settings, it will be possible to limit FPS to 60 and 30.
- Correction of the weather. We turn off the snow until we adjust it properly. Also, there will now be less rain and more sun.
- More new sounds and music. We now have multiple battle tracks!
- Bug fixes. Let's fix a lot of old ones, and add some new ones.

[h3]What's new:[/h3]
- Added a solo randomly-generated dungeon. The entrance to it can be found in the Dark Forest and Swamp Marsh.
- Added new tameable pets: black wolf, bat (can be found chopping down trees on Plague Island), as well as three types of spiders.
- Godsends can now be found in locations on Plague Island.
- Large trees, deposits and monsters can be found in the Dark Forest and Swamp Marsh. They differ from general ones in their rarity, increased chance and amount of loot, as well as characteristics.
- Merchant Barney can now be found in the starting village of the island.
- Added new food and meals that can be cooked around the campfire.

[h3]Improvements:[/h3]
- Reworked resource gathering timers. Now a high level of skills and the use of food will significantly affect the speed of collection.
- Increased spawn zones sizes in the Dark Forest and Swamp Marsh.
- Improved visuals of the Plague Island locations.
- Increased the visibility of ore veins on Plague Island.

[h3]Fixed bugs:[/h3]
- Fixed a bug due to which weapon strikes in some dungeons were applied to the floor surface, which caused unnecessary consumption of weapon durability.
- Fixed a bug due to which attacking mobs and pets could try to continue chasing a player instead of attacking.
- Fixed a bug due to which damage from some combat abilities could be applied to monsters with protection from usual damage.
- Fixed a bug due to which the combat abilities did not change the plague damage according to their logic.
- Fixed a bug due to which the poisonous swamp frog applied bleeding instead of poison when attacking.
- Fixed a bug due to which the special ability of a barghest was activated without needed level.
- Fixed resetting the cooldown of pets if they are pulled away before the ability is fully completed.
- Fixed a bug due to which a thrown object on the walkways in the port could not be picked up.
- Fixed display of DPS for pets.
- Fixed bugs of barghest sound effects.

Hotfix 2.1.292

- Fixed a bug due to which passive bonuses of exotic weapons (effects of stunning and bleeding) did not work.
- Added an explanatory warning before building a ship.
- Fixed a bug due to which the port warehouse of expeditions displayed fewer cells than in the expedition.
- Fixed bugs with the Healer's Workplace.
- Fixed a bug with a vat in the initial quests.
- Fixed a bug due to which the character model was not displayed if a hairstyle with an error was previously selected.
- Fixed boss textures in the fort.
- Fixed the graphics of the Cactus pet.
