Alaska
Level required: 18
Alaska offers more than just salmon-filled rivers—nearby lakes challenge anglers with sturgeon, trout, and a variety of salmon species. Available fish include Arctic char, sockeye salmon, coho salmon, chinook salmon, pink salmon, chum salmon, Dolly Varden trout, Alaska whitefish, northern pike, rainbow trout, burbot, cutthroat trout, bull trout, green sturgeon, and white sturgeon.
Dynamic Water
Missing effects on water were a pain, we saw that in many comments, posts, and reviews. Today, we bring them back. We know it won't be perfect, so if you think something is giving not enough ripples/effects on water, let us know. We are ready to adjust it!
Future Updates
With today's update, the game leaves Early Access. There will be no price change. We will continue the game support. Our priority is to focus on polishing the game after today's release through the upcoming weeks.

We prepared new avatar animations so they are not so wacky, we will improve rod bending & actions, and perform a bunch of QoL fixes and improvements.

In June, we will release another map - Delaware.

[Pre-Release Notes] Alaska, Dynamic Waves and more

Hello Everyone,
We are finishing a new update that should be out next week.

It will include New Map: Alaska (river, lake + new fish species). Dynamic water is back, which means water ripples, and reactions for fish/lures/floats will be visible on the water again. Tweaks in trophy lodges, weather, and underwater will be more transparent on all maps.

The update will be out next week.

Alaska is famous for its rivers filled with salmon, but there is much more to explore here. Beside the river, a vast lake offers anglers a chance to test their skills against sturgeon, rarely associated with Alaskan waters, or to enjoy abundant salmon and trout populations thriving in local waters.
Preview Features
As you can see we marked 3 features as a "preview". That means we need feedback from you regarding this things.

Based on the latest community feedback, we introduced the extra EXP for catching bigger fish for light gear - right now, EXP is limited, but we will vary it based on the gap between gear durability and fish weight. The bigger the gap, the bigger the EXP boost will be.

We would like to hear your thoughts about the new Trophy Room. We will need to fix some lights, and I believe some of you could have perfo issues - we would like to get some feedback here.

Drag sounds - as requested - fixed.

Thank you, everyone, for dropping feedback & ideas.

Upcoming update - New residence, fish growth

Hello,
Just a few words to say that we are still fixing the bugs for you, and the update will be released in a few days, together with a new residence preview and fish growth system.

Residence will be now placed on the map, you will be able to catch bluegill and pumpkinseed. The building is bigger, different, and modular, so with bigger fish, we will be able to make it larger. We have one other idea for big fish like sharks, sturgeon,s but for no,w its just an idea in our heads.

Some of you pointed out that not enough big fish are spawning on the map, so we came up with the idea to bring to life our previous idea a bout fish growth.

The system will still spawn fish randomly when you enter the map, but fish in your area will grow up till they reach max weight. After they reach it, they will be alive for a while, then they DIE, and new fish with random weight is spawned, and the cycle repeats. Of course it will not grow once you hooked it :D

This should allow to make it more enjoyable while hunting bigger fish or fit fish to hook size.

Cheers!
