In our latest livestream, celebrating the DREAMHACK FESTIVAL, we took you for a ride around the Pira Park track. We're aware that you probably have a bunch of questions, so in this devlog, we'd like to tell you a bit about this location.



[h2]Drift School[/h2]

Pira Park is a fictional track where you'll be able to hone your drifting skills. As you could see in our gameplay, at this location, you'll find a space for doing donuts, an area to practice figure eights, as well as a track where you'll be able to refine your style and cornering techniques, and much more!

Especially for you, we've prepared a short video that showcases how the spot looks!

We'd like to remind you about the gas station branding contest that we announced some time ago! If you haven't seen the rules yet, we refer you to the previous devlog. Japanese Drift Master parked at another festival! This time it is the popular DreamHack Beyond, which we are very proud of.

DreamHack Beyond, is a celebration of the gaming community with various tournaments, competitions, broadcasts, and more! The event runs from August 18th to August 27th. You can find JDM in the COMING SOON section, along with other upcoming titles.

We have an exciting competition for you!

The theme is to create the branding for the petrol station you will see in our game! We want you to have a say in the creation of JDM, so we are giving you the opportunity to use your imagination and creativity!

The following is a summary of the competition. If you are interested in participating, please read the COMPETITION RULES in a separate document.


[h2]Competition task[/h2]
Your task is to create a branding design for a virtual petrol station for the Japanese Drift Master.
You can present your idea in one of the two ways below:

• graphic design (drawing on paper, digital, or collage),
  
• detailed text description (references required).
  

Ideas should be submitted in English.

[h2]Rules[/h2]
To be eligible for the competition, your idea must include:

• petrol station logo design,
  
• colour scheme,
  
• graphics to be used on banners, posters, etc,
  
• the appearance of the petrol station mascot,
  
• any additional elements the entrant considers appropriate to the branding concept.
  

The competition is open to adults only.


[h2]Prize[/h2]
The winner will receive a gift set which includes:

• JDM T-shirt,
  
• early access to the JDM demo,
  
• a free key to the full version of the game "JDM: Japanese Drift Master",
  
• inclusion of his name and nickname in the credits of the game,
  
• a sticker from the game "JDM: Japanese Drift Master".
  

The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges who will assess the entries on the basis of creativity, relevance to the theme and quality of execution.

The competition starts today, 10/08/2023 and ends on 10/09/2023.
Entries must be submitted electronically to [email protected] by 11:59 PM CEST on 10/09/2023.

The results of the competition will be announced on 18.09.2023 in the form of a devlog on the Steam.
