On The Lighter Side

TODAY'S UPDATE INCLUDES MOSTLY LIGHTING RELATED FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Fixed the pixelated sky rendering glitch
  • Fixed the thick fog issue
  • Adjusted ambient lighting values
  • Added some in-shop light options to the Dope Market
  • Fixed another game-breaking tutorial bug... sorry about that one ːws_peaceː

Happy Cinco De Mayo!

TODAY'S UPDATE FEATURES THE FOLLOWING FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS:

  • Improved daytime lighting and disabled those crazy light shafts
  • Reduced the haziness/fog inside the level 1 grow room
  • Refactored the save system for faster save/load times
  • Enabled autosave on level up
  • Reduced the lag when interacting with customers or making sales
  • Improved delivery package physics so that the packages won't get kicked through the ground
  • Rebaked the navigation mesh to prevent customers from getting stuck on the bench ;)
  • Added nighttime lights all over the boardwalk

The First Monthly Update



It has barely been a month since our rocky Early Access launch, yet it feels like a lifetime ːws_damanː
Thank you guys for sticking with us and for continuously supporting the project despite all the bugs and occasional screwups on our end!

Luckily, most of the critical bugs have been ironed out and, while there's still a lot of room for improvement in the polish department, we're finally able to start implementing new content & features.

THE UPDATE

Today's update includes over 70 new missions, a day and night mode, a subtle change to the shipping mechanics, and the usual bug fixes, tweaks, and improvements.

We're really excited to finally start working on new content and already got a whole bunch of stuff in the works so stay tuned!

The Weekend Update #3

TODAY'S UPDATE, WHILE NOTHING TOO EXCITING, FEATURES THESE MUCH NEEDED CORE IMPROVEMENTS:

  • The "smoke smoke smoke" bug fix
  • The active NPC count limiter based on median fps
  • Optimized navigation mesh and obstacle avoidance logic
  • Another memory leak fix (a memory leak while playing Weed Merge still persists tho and is on our radar)
  • Tweaked game quality settings
  • Increased large safe capacity to 1,000,000
  • Since we didn't want to unleash another Pika on our Discord community, the F-Packer fix hasn't been included in this build but we'll be on it first thing tomorrow. For now, just wait till it's done packing before moving it, or else ːws_damanː

The Always Sunny Update

Today was a brutal day as all we did was bugfixes. We've managed to get most of them sorted out and are planning on resuming the missions tomorrow... Unless we get hit with a whole new batch of bug reports that is :D

IMPORTANT NOTE: We ended up refactoring the input system so if you had any custom key mapping done, you'll have to rebind them all over again.
