Spanish voiceover update

We've updated the game with full Spanish voiceover! Enjoy!

Time for a coffee break!

Back when we created a working prototype of the game - the interaction which ended up becoming the cassette deck level - we came up with the problem of choosing which objects would make it to the final game. There were so many cool ideas thrown about: a set of dolls, a skateboard, Scalextric, an orrery etc. But we had to combine cool objects, that had interesting interactions and would make sense in the story. And that's when we created THE COOL BOARD! It had two axes: Cool, and Risky.

One of the winners, that everyone loved and wanted in the game, was too complex. There was no way to fit it into the story in a way that wouldn't break up the pacing and take us too long to finish. So we decided against it. Until now.

We hope you enjoy this new update, it's free of charge so just make sure your game has finished updating and if you finished Assemble with Care you should be able to see it in the level select. From all of us here at ustwo games, we hope you are all doing well and keeping safe. This new level has made us nostalgic of the office and reminded us of how good it was when we were all hanging out and working together. We'll be together again!

Plug your headphones into your Walkmans, here comes the soundtrack!

Happy 1 month anniversary everyone! Well, not quite, but close enough. On the 26th of March we released Assemble with Care on PC and we wanted to say thank you for your support so far! Our reviews have been very heartwarming to read. Some of you highlighted a few bugs (more on that below). And some others mentioned you really liked the soundtrack!

This leads us to our first update: The soundtrack is now available for free for anyone who purchases (or already purchased) Assemble with Care on Steam. What's more, it's also available on major music streaming platforms! All credit goes to Thomas Williams who worked with us on the project as well as composed and recorded all the music in the game and the soundtrack. We hope you enjoy it!

Second, when we shipped we discovered little bugs remained in the game. Thank you to all of those that pointed them out to us! Most of them are small and most of you wouldn't have seen them or noticed they were a bug. The biggest issue we ran into occurred during the Music Box level and some of you also reported running into softlocks (a situation where you can still play but progress in the game becomes impossible) at that stage. This has now been fixed and the playthrough should be a smooth experience for everyone. If that's not the case, please let us know!

Lastly, we're continuing to work on Assemble with Care! There was an object we really wanted in the game but was too big to finish it for release. It will be ready soon and will be included in the base game.

And that's it! It's been a trying time for many of us and we recognise we're luckier than most. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time and we hope that, at least for a short time, our games made your lives a little brighter!
