Cosmos Update 2.3.3 - Randomiser!

NEW TO COSMOS
  • Removed the Artifact Selection Screen in place for Randomised Artifact pickups
  • Intergalactic merchant now sells specific Artifacts that can be bought for Gold
  • Updated 3D Meshes and power scaling of the Artifact "Auto-Turret" to make it more powerful in the early game
  • Reduced shot range on the weapon "Space Shotgun" as it was preforming too well with Artifact and Augment upgrades
  • Updated the Visuals of the Weapon Upgrade "High Yield Explosives"
Updated Rift rewards from Unstable Rift Modifiers

AUGMENTS

Updated Hero Augment "Enhancer"
Was: Artifact Choices have a 33% chance of showing up as Enhanced Artifacts

Updated Augment "Itemizer"
Was: Picking Up Items and Artifacts heals you for 5 Health
Now: Picking Up Artifacts heals you for 10 Health

Updated Augment "Random Number Generator"
Was: Everytime you choose an Artifact, Roll a 20 sided Dice. Higher the roll, better the reward!

Updated Augment "Magnetic Tesseract"
Was: Start the Rift with 1 - 1000 Gold, A Successful Blocks grant 5 Gold, A Successful Dodge grant 1 Gold, Collecting Gold has a small chance to grant a random Stat Modifier

BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed a wording error with Rift Anomaly "Neutron Star" not mentioning enemies as well as Cosmic Echos
  • Fixed an issue with the Active Artifact reset particle effect triggering even if you don't have an active artifact equipped
  • Fixed an issue with the Co-Pilot Artifact "Overgunclocker" failing to reset the timer for the Artifact "Proton Wave Blaster"
  • Fixed a bug with the Artifact "Block Dodge" that was always triggering if you have unlocked it before
  • Fixed a bug with the Artifact "Nanite Blocker" that was always triggering if you have unlocked it before
  • Fixed a wording issue with the Shrine tooltip text

Cosmos Update 2.3.2.1 - Small Hotfix

Hotfix
  • Fixed a bug with Artifact "Ballistic Missiles" that didn't change the Hex Missile visuals correctly when equipped
  • Fixed a bug with the Augment menu in which Text and Emissive elements remained after the UI rework
  • Fixed visual errors with the Merchant Shop Item UI's

Cosmos Update 2.3.2 - Rift Anomalies

NEW TO COSMOS
  • Added New "Key" text shown on the Active Artifacts Icon on your HUD in game
  • Current Gold is now always shown when a merchant is currently in the rift, even when the inventory is closed
  • Updated the Main Menu and Co-Pilot Menus to better reflect the new content
  • Updated the Black Market Menu
  • Updated Items and Artifact Tooltips to be consistent with their maximum sizes and removed the Icon displayed on the tooltip
  • Added multiple new SFX curtesy of JD Sherbert that you will notice with Enemy Death, Hex Missiles and most Explosion sequences
  • The Ascension Entity can now no longer spawn if the player has already got all Ascension Artifacts
  • Updated the Game Over Screen (to remove rift infusers and add some contextual UI)
  • Updated the Artifact Selection menu to be more streamlined and visually show the choices coming from the artifact you picked up, shown below
  • Rerolling an Artifact increases the cost of the Reroll by 1 Gold each time its done
  • Updated the Challenges screen in the collection menu to match the Rift Anomalies menu design


RIFT ANOMALIES

When a Cosmic Echo is defeated the Rift Core explodes with energy changing the rift properties causing a Rift Anomaly, This Rift anomaly adds a new and unique challenge that is changed when the next Cosmic Echo is defeated. There are 30 crazy and Interesting Rift Anomalies to discover, good luck out there Co-Pilot!

ARTIFACTS, CURSES AND BOONS

Updated Curse "Cursed Targeting Systems" now called "Cursed Firing Mechanism"
Was: Greatly reduced weapon shot accuracy
Now: Critical Hit Chance reduced by 25%

CO-PILOT ARTIFACTS

Co-pilot stats have been reworked into "Co-Pilot Artifacts" these are unique to each co-pilot and allow a different experience when played with each co-pilot instead of just "this co-pilot attacks faster or this co-pilot has more health" Co-Pilots now have unique personality and display that personality through their Co-Pilot Artifact

BUGS FIXED
  • Fixed wording on the MLG module artifact that was inconsistent with the gameplay element it was referencing
  • Fixed an issue with the weapon upgrade "Mini Nukes" in which they failed to cause a Uranium Explosion if the Nuke hits an enemy instead of timing out
  • Fixed an issue with the Gold text failing to update when Buying Artifacts or Starship repairs from the Merchant
  • Fixed a bug with your "Damage Taken From Cosmic Echo" always showing 0
  • Fixed the wrong images shown for the Starship Base and Wing meshes with the "MECHGLIDE SENTINEL"
  • Fixed a visual bug with the Combat Log text formatting
  • Fixed an issue where the ascension entity could show up when on 0% spawn chance if you were really lucky
  • Fixed a issue in the pause menu with UI clipping on the Game Logo
  • Fixed an issue the Inventory Text for Critical Hit Chance and Critical Hit Multiplier showing the incorrect name
  • Fixed an issue with the progression text in the Co-Pilot menu showing "Augment" when the "Starship" is selected
  • Fixed a bug where two Ascension Menus could be open at the same time

Cosmos Update 2.3.1.4 - UI and Gameplay Update

NEW TO COSMOS

- Enemies and Cosmic Echos are now shown on a radial indicator when not nearby the player, this helps identify enemies coming from locations


- Updated the Sensor Drones Aritfact to fire in bursts, at a higher fire rate and angled to a specific point and not forward


- Updated the Co-Pilot augment selection UI screen to fade Augment that are not selected


- Updated the Level selection Sub menus in the Level Selection screen


BUGFIXES

- Fixed multiple UI screen padding issues between the Options and Collections screen
- Fixed an issue with the Artifact "Nanite Blocker" spawning the visuals at an incorrect location
