Friday Progress Report 286

My brother has been hard at work with the fishing, the fishing rod is mostly functional, you can throw the line, change the camera to the floater, pull the line back with a bit of control to left and right.

He is now implementing the lure attractiveness so fishes leave their schools and try to bite the lure, by next week we should have fishes being caught.



On my end there was no progress this week, I spent the whole week planning out and making assets for a kickstarter campaign... only to learn yesterday that kickstarter and other crowdfunding platforms do not support campaigns from Brazil...

I will probably reopen the patreon page since we are running out of options... the sales on the autumn festival have been underwhelming so far.

Fishes are starting to populate the world, my brother is implementing special behavior like swimming away from the player, and leaving the school when lured by bait, so the player can catch them with the fishing rod.

So far we have 13 fish models ready, it will be at least 20 by the end of the month, each fish gives a different ingredient when butchered, so there will be a lot of new ingredients in the fishing update.

This week Ken-san streamed the game, check his channel out!

Not much else to report this week, we had some delays this month, IRL stuff, so the fishing update will probalby be delayed to mid December, but we will make sure to give it more polish to compensate.
