The July 2021 Update (codenamed the B Cup) is out.

JULY 2021 UPDATE

Once you opt into playing this update the use of pre-update save games is not advised.

NOTABLE FEATURES:

Intro video can be skipped now.
Various camera clipping issues fixed.
Expanded playable areas in earlier levels.
Improved flashlight behavior.
Cut-Scenes and self viewmodel are now fully compatible with FOV 120.
Fixed red fade-out not triggering correctly when dying from forcefield contact.
More ammo is given now when starting the game from any given chapter.
Drones with mounted guns only fire now when the player is in their sight.
Added health and battery dispensers to some maps.
Fixed flashlight bug that occurred during self-view model interaction animations.
Fixed incorrect water scroll direction at the start of space_race.
Fixed buggy prop teleporting between perp_org3 and perp_org4.
Various script/AI bug fixes in human_waste4.

The next major update (codenamed the C Cup) is planned for winter 2021 and will contain an asset pass and Steam related additions such as achievements and trading cards.

REMAINING KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES

THE WHITE BUG: All props turn white.
SOLUTION: Restart the game. We have reduced the likelihood of this error occurring but it's such a random bug that we can't guarantee yet that you won't run into it.

WATER/SKY FLICKER: This can happen when there is a large body of water at the beginning of a level.
SOLUTION: It goes away on it's own after a few seconds.

SOME VGUI ELEMENTS WON'T RENDER CORRECTLY.
SOLUTION. Reopen the misbehaving tabs/restart the game. This graphical error is a side effect of the game being ported over from older versions of the Source Engine. As soon as a fix is found a patch will be released right away.

Sometimes level transitions occur after the screen fades to white. The loading icon might be hard to see in such instances. Don't worry, the next map is loading, it's not a freeze or crash.

G-String Lunar New Year Update

Hey everyone! We've just released a patch for G-String which includes the following changes:

•Previously, loading a saved game would put the player at an incorrect angle. This has been fixed.
•FOV cap increased to 120, over the previous limit of 90. Playing with a high FOV may result in minor visual errors at the edge of the screen during cutscenes, which will be resolved for each cutscene in a future patch.
•Engine limits increased, which should resolve a variety of spontaneous late game save corruption issues / crashes.
•Fixed view clipping while using interactive objects, such as valves, levers, and buttons.
•Fixed an issue where the loading screen wouldn't display properly, instead showing a black screen while loading.

G-String Patch for 12/23/20

Hey everyone! We've pushed a small patch today which fixes a crash our players were experiencing in the early chapters of the game after the A-Cup update. The issue is now resolved, but please let us know if you experience any others and we'll address them as soon as possible. Thanks!

G-String : A-Cup Update

Hey everyone! Today we're launching the G-String A-Cup update, which fixes various bugs, improves various issues encountered by players, and adds additional polish to many of the maps. However, when updating it's very important to keep the following in mind:

[h2]This update may break your previous game saves upon load.[/h2]

This is due to some of the levels being changed since the last update. We've added a new beta branch called previous, which will set your game back to the pre-update state, in case you do run into issues. This will be standard with updates moving forward.
