What's New in Version 3.0.2

[p]This update has several improvements and bug fixes, including:[/p]
  • [p]Incarna now work correctly with various Events and Powers, including: Absorb Essence, Flowing and Silent Forms Dart By, Flow Like Water, Reach Like Air, Serpent Wakes in Power, Settle Into Hunting-Grounds, Blessings of Bounty and Health, and Years of Little Rain.[/p]
  • [p]The threshold of Transformative Sacrifice now triggers Elements or other Presence Track abilities properly.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where using Rumbling Earthquakes when Invaders have increased Health would not allow all damage to be assigned.[/p]
  • [p]Spreading and Dreadful Mire now correctly interacts with conjoined lands.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a multiplayer issue where a thresholded Plague Ships Sail to Distant Ports could get stuck.[/p]
  • [p]Incarna will no longer be counted as a presence for other Spirits for effects that happen in other Spirits' lands.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where undoing Gift of Power while resolving the effects of Slip the Flow of Time could not correctly return the Time used for Slip the Flow of Time.[/p]
  • [p]Solidify Echoes of Majesty Past now respects Spirit Special Rules that restrict presence placement.[/p]
  • [p]Discord (III) now applies damage correctly in all cases.[/p]
  • [p]When replacing an Invader with Strife on the 2D map, the Strife on the new Invader is now much clearer to see.[/p]
  • [p]Isolate from Fear Cards now interacts properly with Ocean's Hungry Grasp.[/p]
  • [p]Far-Flung Herds (The Habsburg Monarchy 6) now correctly interacts with Invaders who have Strife.[/p]
  • [p]The game no longer gets stuck in A Diversity of Spirits (solo) when a Power Card repeats itself.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a problem with Unearth a Beast of Wrathful Stone where the threshold ability could not be used in some cases.[/p]
  • [p]When cascading Blight from one board to another, Scotland no longer incorrectly allows you to choose which board adds extra Blight to the Ocean.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed a problem where Incarna could be treated as presence after choosing for it not to be.[/p]

Nature Incarnate Now Available with Spirit Island 3.0

[p]Spirits of myth and legend turn their unimaginable power upon the Invaders! Nature Incarnate unleashes more Spirits, Powers, and Aspects to defend the Island. Plus, more Events, Fear, and Blight cards bring additional challenge and variety![/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]Nature Incarnate initially includes 1 Spirit, 2 Aspects, 12 Power Cards, 9 Event Cards, 9 Fear Cards, and 8 Blight Cards.   • [p]A security vulnerability in the underlying Unity game engine has been fixed.[/p]
  • [p]Online multiplayer now requires a connection to the server responsible for sync/undo before you can create or join a game. This will prevent problems where some players were unable to sync/undo, because their network was blocking that server.[/p]
  • [p]Automatic zooming is smoother and no longer zooms out in between successive Invader actions.[/p]
  • [p]The summary information on the Habsburg Monarchy Adversary button now indicates the maximum number of Blight allowed, instead of 1 more, for consistency with other Adversaries. For example, 0/2 when playing with 2 Spirits, instead of 0/3.[/p]
  • [p]After the game is over, you can look at hidden information (Fear, Blight, and Invader cards) in the Details panel.[/p]
  • [p]Spirit Foresight now shows the +2 damage from Intensifying Exploitation.[/p]
  • [p]The game will no longer get stuck if Portents of Disaster and Resourceful Populace trigger in the same land.[/p]
  • [p]Move a Presence growth options no longer allow you to move Presence further than you are supposed to.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue against Russia 5+ where the game could get stuck in multiplayer when using a power to Drown a Town and generate enough Fear to reveal an Invader Card.[/p]
  • [p]Despicable Thieves now elude Removal correctly with Twisted Flowers Murmur Ultimatums.[/p]
  • [p]Many Minds Move as One is now able to indicate that its Sacred Site does not count as Beasts for the Coming of Age event.[/p]
  • [p]When Gift of Abundance is being Repeated, it now correctly ignores its Repeat instructions.[/p]
  • [p]Blur the Arc of Years will no longer cause the game to get out of sync in multiplayer in some situations.[/p]
  • [p]Open the Ways now triggers properly during Fear Card actions.[/p]
  • [p]Utter A Curse Of Dread And Bone can now correctly count the number of Blight if an adjacent land is affected by Weave Together the Fabric of Place.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where when Remnants of a Spirit's Heart (With Patient Focus Craft a Great Warding) was in effect and Weave Together the Fabric of Place was used, the conjoined land had Defend 8 instead of 4.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed the interaction between Spill Bitterness into Earth and Blood Draws Predators.[/p]
  • [p]When resolving Missionaries Arrive (Prey on the Unwary), destroyed Russian Explorers no longer ignore Isolation on adjacent lands.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue where Invaders Surge Inland would not allow you to move an Isolated Town inland if you wish.[/p]
  • [p]Using Visions of a Shifting Future to reveal a supporting adversary Habsburg Reminder Card and placing it at the bottom of the Invader Deck will no longer cause Waves of Immigration to repeatedly trigger.[/p]
  • [p]During A Diversity of Spirits, undoing in the Fast Phase will no longer cause the incorrect Spirit's hand to show.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue during setup of a new wave in the Second Wave Scenario where pushing Dahan to adjacent lands could softlock the game.[/p]
  • [p]The game will no longer get stuck in multiplayer when Dahan Insurrection's Military Response takes effect and Finder of Paths Unseen is in the game.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue with Bonus Growth reduced difficulty where the game could get stuck in the first Spirit Phase of A Diversity of Spirits multi handed solo mode.[/p]
  • [p]Seeking the Interior (Stage I) no longer ignores isolation effects.[/p]
  • [p]When playing with Many Minds Move as One against Russia 1+, destroying a sacred site that is treated as beasts no longer negates the Presence destruction from adding Blight.[/p]
  • [p]Dream of the Untouched Land now works properly when used on an Ocean against Scotland.[/p]
  • [p]There is now a choice in where to Ravage first while No Bravery Without Numbers is in effect.[/p]
  • [p]Fortune Seekers no longer ignores Supporting Adversary escalation in Stage III.[/p]
  • [p]Fixed an issue in which France's Triangle Trade could still trigger despite lands being isolated.[/p]
  • [p]Explorers are Reluctant (Level I) now correctly resolves when Fortune-Seekers (Healthy Island) is in effect.[/p]

Nature Incarnate Begins This Fall, but a Contest Begins Now!

[p]Did y'all pick up Promo Pack 2: Feather yet? Well if you did, and you're wondering to yourself "when oh when will there be EVEN more Spirit Island for me to explore?!"- fear not! The phased approach we used for Jagged Earth was such a success, we're doing it again for the next major Spirit Island release: Nature Incarnate. What's New in Version 2.9.4

This update has a few bug fixes, including:
  • The game will no longer get stuck while Exploring with Scotland 1+ when Mapmakers Chart the Wild is in effect.
  • Fixed an issue with Sacred Sites Under Threat, when if Shifting Memory of Ages had no energy and a single card with Fire in hand, the game could get stuck if you chose Guard Yourself, Forgot the card, but actually discarded it.
  • The game no longer gets stuck when Perils of the Deepest Island is used while Keeper of the Forbidden Wilds is in the game.
  • Fixed an issue in which Fortune-Seekers would not allow the correct Spirit's unique forgotten powers to be regained.
  • When Finder of Paths Unseen is returning Presence to its tracks, the choices for where you can return Presence are now correct.
  • When Forgetting 2 Power Cards for Numinous Crisis, Shifting Memory of Ages is no longer permitted to try to Forget the same card twice (by using their special rule).
  • Fixed an issue in which using Undo after Lesser Spirits Imperiled (Tend to your Own Strength) could result in Blight being removed from the card too many times.
  • The damage bonus from Gift of Furious Might can now be used on the threshold damage of Tsunami properly.
  • Entrap the Forces of Corruption now properly prevents cascades during Varied Terrains.
  • The Kingdom of Scotland Level 2 supported by The Habsburg Monarchy Level 5 no longer has Invader Cards in the wrong order.
  • The Kingdom of Scotland's 5+ Runoff and Bilgewater no longer triggers the additional loss condition of The Habsburg Monarchy.
  • Fixed an issue where The Habsburg Monarchy as a supporting Adversary could place its Waves of Immigration card in an incorrect position if the leading Adversary removed Invader Cards.

What's New in Version 2.9.3

This update has a number of improvements and bug fixes, including:
  • Spirit Foresight now shows the Setup symbols in lands when you inspect them.
  • While playing with Diversity of Spirits, Powers that repeat themselves no longer cause the game to stop progressing.
  • When Resourceful Populace is in effect, Foundations Sink Into Mud no longer gets out of sync in multiplayer when used in a land with Finder of Paths Unseen's Presence.
  • Pour Down Power Across the Land will now work properly for Powers used during an Event.
  • Aid From the Spirit Speakers and Paths Tied by Nature can no longer be used to push Presence to an illegal land.
  • Responsibilities to the Dead will now only trigger once from Melt Earth Into Quicksand.
  • Spreading Timidity II/III no longer allows you to choose the same land more than once.
  • While using Pour Down Power Across the Island, you can no longer use both abilities at once if you select the Gain 1 Energy ability while resolving a repeated power.
  • Open the Ways is now usable between self-repeating powers like Lay Paths They Cannot Help But Walk.
  • Fixed an issue in Second Wave where Open the Ways could incorrectly apply to all triggered Actions if Finder of Paths Unseen was present in the previous game.
  • When the first and second thresholds of Lay Paths They Cannot Help But Walk are available, omitting the first threshold and not the second no longer causes the power to target no lands.
  • Finder of Paths Unseen pushing pieces with Paths Tied by Nature is now able to push into oceans when Ocean’s Hungry Grasp has a presence on that board.
  • Gift of Furious Might now increases the damage of Foundations Sink Into Mud.
  • Uncanny Melting now interacts correctly with Scotland 5+ and ocean Blight.
  • Fixed an issue in which Eager Explorers would not always recognize adjacent lands that are isolated, especially with Open the Ways.
  • When Sprawl Contained by the Wilds is in effect, Dahan no longer ignore the effects of Rain and Mud Suppress Conflict.
  • The Kingdom of Scotland's Runoff and Bilgewater effect no longer triggers on more than one Ocean when cascading between Coastal Lands on different boards.
  • The event Rising Interest in the Island no longer removes the specially placed Coastal Lands card from The Kingdom of Scotland 2+.
  • Fixed a problem where Foreign Dignitaries Visit could incorrectly boost damage in more than 1 land per board.
  • If a land under the effect of Weave Together the Fabric of Place is Ravaged and flips the Blight Card, using undo no longer causes it to Ravage again.
  • Habsburg Level 4 Towns no longer retain their Durability in lands with Blight when Sweden's Heavy Mining takes effect.
  • Fixed an issue where undoing with Heart of the Wildfire could cause continuous Blight and Minor Power prompts.
  • Repeating Drawing Towards a Consuming Void no longer ignores To Dream a Thousand Deaths.
  • Fixed an issue where ravages with Habsburg 6 would not work properly with Isolate in some situations.
  • To Dream a Thousand Deaths no longer ignores adjacency when resolving Forest of Living Obsidian.
  • Fixed an issue in Second Wave where Slow and Silent Death could incorrectly apply in all lands if Shroud of Silent Mist was present in the previous game.
  • If Heart of the Wildfire moves Presence to 2 different lands in The Struggles of Growth event, it will only trigger Blazing Presence in one of the lands.
  • In Elemental Invocation, the corner element between G3 and G4 is now shown in the correct location.
  • Fixed a problem where Let's See What Happens activating Swarming Wasps would ignore Isolation.
  • Spirit Foresight now shows the correct Ravage damage amount for a Strifed City when Curse the Tongues of the Foreigners is in effect.
  • Fixed an issue when Stone's Unyielding Defiance uncovers a "+1 Card Play" Presence space, the Minor Power would not draw correctly, and the placement could incorrectly be undone.
