Hi friends and animals,

We’d like to be open and honest with our players and let everyone to know what actually happened with the server for the last 19 hours.

First of all, as a small developer, we didn’t expect such enthusiasm from our players all over the world. If we could ever imagine this, we would have warned our service provider for the upcoming traffic. We are very sorry for what happened today.

The unexpected (but very appreciated) player base of our game has brought our service provider great burden for managing their servers and also causes trouble for other companies they are working with. Hence they put limits on the number of concurrent players on 10pm GMT June 18th.

We were sleeping at that time and were unable to contact them regarding the limitation. And for the following 13 hours we’ve been trying all ways to contact them and they finally replied us on 11am GMT June 19th.

After communicating with them, they agreed to temporarily raise the limitation. But it may still be insufficient given the global player base we currently have. Local game and AIs on the other hand is available for playing anytime.

We will enhance the server capability after the festival and would like to provide everyone with a free, much more steady demo with more contents sometimes in the near future. We hope you will come back and enjoy the game then :)

Again we are truly sorry for what happens today and for bringing your guys a bad gaming experience.

Hi Friends and Animals,

Right now you may experience a hard time connecting to the game / creating room / starting the game. That is because our server provider puts a limit on the maximum number of concurrent players about an hour ago.

We are contacting them for a quick fix NOW. Please be patient with us and we'll fix it soon (hopefully).

Meanwhile please practice with hard AIs. They are very FATAL if you are new to the game.

On the other hand, all friend-related features, such as send/receive friend requests or refresh friend list, are also being temporarily disabled in case too many requests crashing the server.

We will release a new version today to fix the friend-related features.

Party Animals is releasing its first open demo during the Steam Game Festival! (June 16th - 21st)

We will be broadcasting a some prerecorded gameplay videos made by 30+ Youtubers/Streamers.
