Patch .6 + Relaunch Tomorrow!

Hello everyone! We've been hard at work again fixing more bugs and glitches. Also, we will announce tomorrow when the servers go live tomorrow for the relaunch, you can expect this to happen in the afternoon of PST.

[h2]Fixed:[/h2]

Fishing Issues:
  • The issue of not being able to fish after a certain number of attempts has been fixed.
  • The fillet knife now consistently provides fillets every time.


Dungeons:
All dungeons have been scaled to the right difficulty.

Monster Spawns:
  • All monsters are where they are supposed to.
  • All monsters are scaled to the correct difficulty.

Scaling is an ongoing process for any MMO.

No Storage in Silverlake:
  • We’ve added a bank to Silverlake for people to be able to use the personal storage.


The /Stuck Issue:
/stuck cooldown is now 1h cooldown and takes you to closest spawn point

Vocations and Balances
  • Archers not shooting because they require the player to stand still has been removed, they now suffer -50% movement speed instead while shooting.
  • Archers -50% dmg on being next to their target has been reduced 0% at three tiles away and for each tile closer the reduction goes up by 10%


Tasksboards:
  • All Taskboards now reward the correct amount on completing a task.
  • All settlements have a working Taskboards.


Trade Posts:
  • All caravans can be spoken to and be used to send packages to other settlements.


Corrupted Infection:
  • The status Corrupted Infection has been reduced in harshness, it now instead gives, -10% atk speed, -30% cast speed, and -15% move for 1h or until removed.


XP reduction on level difference:
  • This now starts at two levels below you so that at ten levels above a monster, you will reach the maximum XP reduction of 90%.


[h2]Regarding the Empty Mainland:[/h2]
The mainland was always intended to be more open and free for players than Solitary Isles. However, issues and mistakes during the May 1st launch resulted in the mainland missing most of its higher tier resources and monsters. Combined with the lack of quests, this made the mainland feel empty and deserted for players exploring after leaving Solitary Isles.
After fixing the larger bugs, we have ensured that all resources exist in their intended locations and all monsters spawn where we want them to. However, our work is not finished yet, and we will continue to improve upon what we see as the base game for the relaunch.

Monster Pathing:
The pathing for monsters has been optimized, and they should now behave correctly. They will be much harder to exploit and kill.
[h2]Balancing:[/h2]
XP reduction on level difference:
The reduction is still capped at 90%, but we have reduced the reduction from 25% per level to 10%. This means that at nine levels above a monster, you will reach the maximum XP reduction.
[h2]Monster Level Indicator:[/h2]
Monsters now display their level, allowing you to estimate their power more accurately.
[h2]Vocations:[/h2]
Abilities should now be awarded properly at levels 15, 20, 25, and 30 upon speaking to your vocation trainer. This will be added retroactively if you haven't collected an ability for a certain level.

With this Patch the Level Squish is now in effect. Thanks for all your support! We're still hard at work fixing bugs!

Wildlands Issues:
-Companions are no longer exempt from being targeted by guards.
-The owner of the pet will now also be targeted.
Lair of the Exiles Dungeon:
-Bosses and trash scaled
-Black Knight Sever Artery should now be removed like other bleeds.
Damage Reduction and Levels:
-Added a 60% absorption cap on armor.
Goblinoid Ogruan:
-Ogruan animation no longer loops on death.
Companion Sharing XP Rewards:
-Companions no longer leech XP from you as a party member.
Restless Spirits Issue:
-Issue with forest spirits not spawning after a while has been identified and fixed.
XP Rewards Skewed:
-Insane XP increase in wildlands fixed, should now reward the correct amount.
Item Decay Issue:
-Added 30-minute decay to items.
Gold Dupes:
-On death has been fixed.
-Currency exchange has been removed for the time being to investigate the money dupe within it.
Speed Exploit:
-We have regulated player movement to adjust for more stable character speed. Change Title Issue:
-Players should now be able to change their title to any they have received in-game. Warden and Spiritual Vocations:
-Warden and the other spiritual vocations should now be able to turn in their corrupted shard properly.
Death Penalties Issue:
The non-existent death penalty on Solitary Isles has been fixed and adjusted.
[h2]Balanced:[/h2]
Class & Balance: Brawler:
-Brawler now gains Brawler Feint instead of Combative Focus upon completing the quests in Edrivne.

Patch 0.3

Small fix today while we work on larger more time-consuming issues, check them out below.

Fixed Issues:

-Guards in Blackguard's Bastion should now properly target players who attack other players/guards/NPCs.
-There are now five spawn points within Blackguard's Bastion.

[h2]Rabbit Invasion Issue:[/h2]
-The forests with way too many rabbits have been sorted.

[h2]XP Exploit:[/h2]
-The infinite XP exploit has been fixed.

We've been hard at work on even more bug fixes, check them out!

Fixed Issues:

[h2]Server Stability:[/h2]
-Some changes have been made to the servers to increase stability.
[h2]Wildlands Issues:[/h2]
-Full loot in Wildlands should now be in effect, from mobs and players alike.
-Any death in Wildlands results in full loot.
-Wildlands PVP should now work as intended.
[h2]Turn-Off Grass Issue:[/h2]
-The issue of grass remaining turned off after leaving the current area should be solved.
[h2]Pathing Issue for Entities:[/h2]
-Pathing for entities has been improved to correspond with previous server fixes.
[h2]Quest Item Second Issue:[/h2]
-Getting multiple quest items should now also be fixed.
-We have not experienced any Quest Items disappearing since the last patch. Please let us know if that issue persists.
[h2]Mage Tower Stuck Issue:[/h2]
-The 2-hour wait time in the Mage Tower has been removed.
-Going there is still going to give you a 2h cooldown, but you can go down to the foot of that mountain if you want to leave earlier.
[h2]Vocation Issues:[/h2]
-Vocations that have been tested and should work are Enchanter, Elementalist, Infuser, Earthguard, Warden, Ranger, and Druid.
-Vocations on Solitary have been tested again and should be working.
-This cannot be promised for already existing characters.
[h2]Lair of the Exiles Dungeon:[/h2]
-The issue of not being able to acquire the key to open the Black Knights Armory has been fixed.
-However, the key still needs to be acquired to enter.
Balanced:

[h2]Class & Balance[/h2]
Demon Knight
- Barlon's Strike now deals 115% Weapon Damage (Up from 100%).
- Barlon's Whirlwind now correctly uses the weapon's damage info and deals 120% weapon damage.
- Vitality Strike now deals 140% weapon damage (up from 100%).
- Demonic Retribution now deals increased damage to attackers.
Spellblade
- Arcanic Bulwark fixed.
Hunters & Rangers General:
- Hunters and Rangers seemed to be underperforming as opposed to other classes. This was largely tied to bows being innately fast weapons whereas the class kits revolved around high-burst playstyles. We intend for these classes (especially Hunter) to be burst-oriented, so all bows in the game have been adjusted to match it. Players should experience higher damage numbers on Hunters and Rangers going forward.

Loot Table Issues:
-We are working hard to get the loot tables working for each mob.
Guild Issues:
-Guilds were planned for 5 days after launch, but under the current circumstances, that has been pushed back. As soon as we can stabilize everything, work and testing will continue on that. We will make an official announcement for the date when we've started working on it again.
Housing and Property Issues:
-We have found some bugs related to the system and are fixing them as soon as we can.
Ranked PVP and Arenas:
-Ranked PVP and Arenas will also be postponed until we can get everything in order and assess the time needed after the re-launch. (edited)
