Update 4.0.7

Small but important update today, if you played without the Player Commander campaign option enabled you likely encountered a serious crash that has now been fixed. Changelog follows:

Update 4.0.5

Very minor update to fix the mouseover info on the Campaign Day view while in fullscreen mode.

Edit: Also changed the Pyinstaller settings to enable the console - this will create a black console window behind the game window, but it appears to have been causing issues for some players without it, and it should not detract in any way from the game.

Update 4.0.4

I just uploaded a very minor update to the 4.0 branch, with just some minor fixes. This is the last planned minor update, so unless there are game-crashing bugs that emerge, I'll be working on the 5.0 major update from now on. As always, you may have to restart Steam to download the update, and saved campaigns are still compatible. Changelog follows:

Based on player feedback and testing I've made a number of minor changes and improvements, as always if you encoutner any apparent bugs or crashes please report them in the discussion board. You may have to restart Steam before this update is downloaded and applied. Changelog follows:

ADD: After reposition action, new terrain type for player unit is displayed in message
ADD: LoS display when selecting targets in Shooting phase, target recticle not displayed any more
ADD: At start of Shooting phase, game will try to select an intial default target for each player weapon
ADD: Targets of an Overrun attack now have a chance for a defensive fire attack
ADD: Sound effect for broken weapon
CNG: Campaign Day now has "Return to Base" command in Travel menu tab instead of "Abandon Tank"
CNG: HE always has a minimum effective firepower of 1 regardless of modifiers

FIX: Bug in Patton's Best campaign calendar definitions that could lead to an infinite calendar loop
