Patch Notes - Release 1.0.3

[p][/p][h2]Commanders,[/h2][p][/p][p]with this patch we've fixed a few more bugs, added the long awaited improved UI and balanced the game:[/p][p][/p][h3]Bug-Fixing[/h3]
  • [p]added the "rock, paper, scissors" mechanism correctly. So now a hint comes up when attacking with a bonus. See descriptions for detailed information [/p]
  • [p]fixed the special ability of Beholders. Works as expected now [/p]
  • [p]fixed the special ability of Cannons of Revelation. Works as expected now[/p]
  • [p]fixed an issue which avoided to finish level 2.7 The Tower[/p]
  • [p]all gained XP points are shown correctly now[/p]
  • [p]all DoT spells will effect with start of the next turn [/p]
  • [p]fixed an issue with Bombardier. They perform a skirmish attack which can not be countered now[/p]
  • [p]fixed a freeze which could occure after exploring a ruin or city[/p]
  • [p]fixed a freeze caused by spawned AI units of ruins or castles [/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug where capitulating could freeze the game [/p]
  • [p]fixed some incorret sound files of a few units[/p]

  • [p]rewards were doubled for all finished level and completed islands[/p]
  • [p]movement points were increased and penalties reduced for light infantry[/p]
  • [p]reduced the costs for hiring light infantry[/p]
  • [p]Nebukadnezzar and Hammurabi's movementpoints were increased from 3 --> 4[/p]
  • [p]Heretic Ballon now performs an elemental attack [/p]
  • [p]Cannons of Revelation and Blade Engine now perform a physical attack [/p]
  • [p]Fire Dragon now performs an elemental attack[/p][p][/p]

  • [p]added all missing tooltips for artefacts, buffs and nerfs[/p]
  • [p]corrected false values displayed for a few artefacts[/p]
  • [p]spell caster can no more cast more than 1 spell per turn[/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug where the level was lost when not placing your Avatar within the deployment phase[/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug where Sargon could cast his Nova Spell twice a turn[/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug where a freeze could occure with different AI spells[/p]
  • [p]fixed a bug where a freeze occured if a spell caster entered a POI[/p]

  • [p]All Level of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd island were rebalanced in terms of enemy unit count, AI unit level and AI behaviour[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the time needed to build upgrades from 4-->3 for Level2 and 8-->7 for Level3 buildings[/p]
  • [p]Reduced the costs for mercenaries[/p]
    • [p]Sandman - 700 Gold + 10 Gem[/p]
    • [p]Musketeer - 700 Gold + 15 Gem[/p]
    • [p]Battle Monk - 1500 Gold +20 Gem[/p]
    • [p]Chimera - 1500 Gold + 25 Gem[/p]
    • [p]Gorgon - 2000 Gold + 30 Gem[/p]

Most of us have children, and full-time jobs outside of this project. Shields of Loyalty has been our passion project for years, built in the late evenings, weekends, and stolen moments of free time. Many of the issues you’ve reported were already on our radar, but the last stretch before release meant balancing dozens of fixes, updates, and content additions.   • [p]Level 1.3 / The Chokepoint - Fixed the issue with the ranger unit who avoid finishing this level [/p]
  • [p]Level 1.5.2 / The Clairvoyant - Fixed an incorrectly working trigger which spawned enemy units earlier as expected[/p]

  • [p]Fixed a freeze bug where the Victory or Defeat condition was not triggered [/p]
