AFTERBLAST - 1 Day After EA Launch Update, November 27, 2025

Hello Blasters!
[p]I am coming to you with fresh updates after the very first day of our Early Access launch! Thanks to your quick feedback, we’ve done a huge a series of fixes, tweaks, and improvements to keep things running smoothly. Dive into the latest changes and see what’s been adjusted in the newest build![/p][h2]
Fixes:[/h2]
  • [p]No more cursor bug on end screen!!!!![/p]
  • [p]You no longer get many achievements on first game launch #featurenotabug for day one (just kidding)[/p]
  • [p]All the icons for items are fixed[/p]
  • [p]Many translations were fixed (Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian)[/p]
  • [p]Taking companions in coop works for everyone[/p]
  • [p]Moving problem in coop after restarting the game now works properly[/p]
  • [p]Bugged companions in lobby were removed[/p]
  • [p]Some missing item descriptions are now fully fixed[/p]
  • [p]Grappling Hook should be working fine in coop with no issues[/p]
  • [p]Probably no more quests(some of them) wiping progress after returning to the menu[/p]
  • [p]Bug with switching weapons too fast got fixed

  • [p]Much faster progression with more Eternity Crystals[/p]
  • [p]Added Boss Defeating sound[/p]
  • [p]All the icons for items are fixed[/p]
  • [p]Movement speed increased[/p]
  • [p]Upgrades for movement speed were adjusted[/p]
  • [p]Added Tutorial Pop-up about Finishers that restore your HP[/p]
  • [p]Player has more base shield[/p]
  • [p]Enemies has a slightly lower HP and does less DMG[/p]
  • [p]Additional Snakes spawn less often after defeating them[/p]
  • [p]Leveling is faster and rewards every 3 levels instead of 4[/p]
  • [p]Increased more Core Crystals drop[/p]
  • [p]chance to drop weapon modifier from bosses were increased[/p]
  • [p]enemies balance scaling for coop players improved[/p]
[p][/p][p]Probably even more changes were made based on your guys feedback on Steam and Discord but a lot is going on, these are the main ones for sure! [/p][p][/p][p]We are still adding more stuff and improving, fixing, as soon as possible!

(Chests and enemies will stop sometimes dissapearing in coop, fix will be in 1-2h)

AFTERBLAST Early Access Launch in 10 days!

[h2]Hey everyone![/h2][p][/p][p]AFTERBLAST launches in about 10 days (Wednesday, Nov 26 at 4 PM GMT+1 / 10 AM ET), just wanted to do a post and give you all some additional details of the EA Release.[/p][p][/p][h3]PRICE[/h3][p]Price will be: $14.99 USD with regional adjusted pricing + a 10% launch discount (the lowest price it's ever going to be we think as a thank you for EA supporters).[/p][p][/p][h3]STEAM DECK / CONTROLLER SUPPORT[/h3][p]Yes Steam Deck and controllers are supported.[/p][p][/p][h3]WHERE TO GET SUPPORT[/h3][p]Best place to get fast support would be the Discord Server, this is where the AFTERBLAST community is! AFTERBLAST Launches NOVEMBER 26

We’re incredibly excited to announce that AFTERBLAST will be launching on November 26![/h3][p][/p][h3]Here you can watch our brand new trailer![/h3][previewyoutube][/previewyoutube][p][/p][p]Launch will include the first Three Dungeons, each with two Bosses to beat.[/p][p]Big Open Maps featuring an Infinite Survival Mode for endless replayability, and unique enemies.[/p][p]Both support solo and co-op play.[/p][p]Boss Souls collected from defeated bosses can be used to raise overall difficulty and unlock new content, while Boss Ashes allow fine-grained customization of which game elements grow more challenging.[/p][p]Progression has been expanded with multiple permanent systems, like Eternity Upgrades and Core Upgrades, that enhance abilities and unlock additional content.[/p][p]NPCs enhance or exchange your items.[/p][p]New weapons and items with evolutions and synergies.[/p][p]Brand-new companion system to bring more personality to your runs.[/p][p]And much more...[/p][p][/p][h3]Love roguelite shooters? We are sorry for letting you down. Unfortunately, we needed to delay our release date a little bit. Due to a delay in Steam’s approval process, we need to change our launch plans. Despite our attempts to contact Steam Support, we couldn't receive the confirmation needed to finalize the scheduled November 7, 2025 release.[/p][p]Two weeks before launch Steam locks the release date, which prevents any changes. We waited until the very last moment hoping the approval would come through. Since it didn’t, we could not risk losing the release entirely after 5 years of development. To make sure the launch goes smoothly, we’ve moved the release by a little over two weeks, and the new date is November 26, 2025.[/p][p]We know this is disappointing... We’re just as eager to share the game with you as you are to play it. Thank you for your patience and support! We’ll post any new information here as soon as we have it ❤️[/p]

AFTERBLAST Release Delayed

We’ve got some tough news to share: the release we originally aimed for at the end of April is going to be delayed - just a little bit 😦

As many of you know, we’re just a two-person team. What started as a small passion project in our spare time has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. For the past year, both of us have been working full-time on the game, pouring our hearts into it every single day.

The response during Steam Next Fest was overwhelming in the best way possible. So many of you played the demo, shared kind words, and added the game to your wishlists and honestly, it meant the world to us. It's been surreal, and above all, incredibly motivating but also that week we realized the game should and can be better.

That’s exactly why we don’t want to rush things or release the game before it’s truly ready. We want it to be something special - something worth your time and support ❤️

We also want to be honest with you: setting a fixed release date earlier was a mistake. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves trying to hit that target as fast as possible, and truthfully, it’s been just too much... On top of everything, we've also faced some unexpected health issues recently, which have slowed us down a bit more than we anticipated.

Thank you so much for your patience, kindness, and support. This community is something really special, and we’re so grateful to have you along for the journey! ❤️
