Dear Wizards,

At the beginning please let us remind you about our ongoing:

Big QOL update aiming at improving early experience for the new players, but also making some aspects of the game more pleasant for all of you.

[h2]โœ… Added:[/h2]
  • [QOL] After using the Spellweaver's Soul, the Inventory get's automatically closed.
  • [QOL / Summons] Summons and charmed enemies are now way more easier to recognize from the normal enemy. They have their colors changed to be way more purple. They no longer have only the small icon above the head with just an outline.
  • [QOL / Spells Merging] Number of slots left on a spell is now clearly visible when merging spells. No more confusion on why the chance suddenly dropped to 0!
  • [Spells Merging] It's now possible to merge 2 identical spells together. It was confusing for the new players that only the number of charges was increasing before and it didn't had much sense with large mana costs as well (or even worse case - that you would accidentaly lose your merged spell by doing so!).
  • [QOL] It's now possible to use the jumping slime trampoline while stomping.


[h2]๐Ÿ”„ Changed:[/h2]
  • [QOL] Player's climbing speed has been increased by 40% to not break the flow of the fast-paced movement anymore.
  • [Spells] Spells drop rate has been greatly reduced for the first 5 runs of the game (increasing with each new run). It had to be done because new players were overwhelmed with too many spells thrown at them at once.
  • [Magic Weapons] Magic Weapons drop rate has been reduced by about 65% - there was no reason to have so many identical weapons. It was also very confusing for the new players.


[h2]โŒ Removed:[/h2]
  • [Spellweaver] Removed the Spellweaver's tutorial about using the item to teleport him. It was way too confusing for the new players and in the next patch we will make it spawn randomly in a level until you find it for the very first time. Then it will be permanently added to your equipment. Don't worry, currently you simply gain this item forever just by talking to the Spellweaver for the very first time and it won't disappear from your inventory.
  • [Tutorial] Removed the part about enchanting the Lesser Fireball with an Ice Enchantment from the tutorial. The tutorial now only teach you how to move, dash and stomp to not introduce too much stuff at once.

  • [Localization]: The Chinese localization has been fully upgraded, fixing unclear descriptions, awkward sentences, and incorrect wording.
  • [Ladders]: Players will no longer get stuck while trying to jump when climbing ladders. Previously, this bug would make you "almost powerless" when trying to jump on ladders.
  • [Audio]: Fixed a bug that would make the fire sound still play when entering the Astral Realm after unlocking Hunter Ivar.
  • [Curses]: The "Mad Curse" (which prevents you from viewing HP, magic, keys, or currency) now loads correctly.
  • [Player] Slightly increased Player's jump height.
  • [Challenges] Lucky Survivor's health required threshold increased from 35 to 60

[Rooms / OOL] Added a lot of ladders and jumping slimes to make it easier to navigate through levels.

In the last 2 weeks we were mainly working on creating option to add spells into your weapons, making it possible to enable / disable most of the meta progression upgrades, a new normal enemy and balancing enemies. We have also removed all temporary enemies from the game.

[h2]โœ… Added:[/h2]
  • [World] Added Magic Forge where you can add Spells into your Magic Weapons! The cost of it is increasing the cooldown of the weapon.
  • [World] The game get's a little bit darker (visually) with each difficulty level.
  • [Enemies] Added new enemy named Chaosbane Lizardman.
  • [Bosses] Added Ice Boss emote.
  • [Meta Progression] Added option to enable and disable any meta progression upgrade.


[h2]๐Ÿ”„ Changed:[/h2]
  • [Enemies / Balance] Slightly increased max HP of enemies on 2 highest difficulty levels (roughly by about 4-7%).
  • [Enemies / Balance] Reduced extra damage dealt by enemies on higher difficulty levels from +0 / 15 / 30 / 50% to +0 / 8 / 16 / 25% extra damage dealt.
  • [Enemies / Balance] Reduced base stats multiplier for normal enemies from [-25% ; +25%] to [-17% ; +17%]. This means that every enemy now have chance to be up to 17% slower/faster, deal up to 17% less/more damage, etc.
  • [Enemies / Balance] Reduced extra damage dealt by elite enemies from +125% to +85%. Elite bosses could deal way too much damage before this change.
  • [Spells] Summon the Army spell can no longer summon monsters from the Void.
  • [Spells] Improved visual of Magic Wall spell.


[h2]โš™๏ธ Fixed:[/h2]
  • [Bosses] Fixed a bug where sometimes the reward room was not opening after killing a boss. This was related to removing effects and projectiles after killing him. Don't ask about the spaghetti involved here ๐Ÿ
  • [Weapons] Fixed a bug where Frog's King Wand could summon Werewolves instead of Frogs.
  • [Weapons] Fixed a bug where Skull Staff's icon was not displaying.
  • [Spells] Magic Wall now blocks all enemy projectiles, even these piercing walls.
  • [Curses] Curse of Madness (making you unable to see HP, keys or currencies) now loads correctly.

  • [Enemies] Removed all remaining temporary enemies.
