We have released our latest patch that addresses a number of issues reported by the community.

Please note that the changelog may contain spoilers.

Changelog:
  • Arrival mindmap: Coat Note is no longer floating if picked up before signing in
  • Added extra tutorial panel explaining discussable states
  • Updated tutorial to open on correct mindmap
  • Book by fireplace now costs 1 tick to look at and a second tick to read, and is free to leave without reading
  • Minor shadow flickering issue fixed under chair in telegram room
  • The sigil in the hedge maze can no longer become non interactable without explanation when returned to
  • The Bean nighe now behaves correctly after loading a save
  • Stable Door Lock no longer goes behind the Stable Door after clicking on it in Analysis Mode
  • During "The Fight", Mr Skerritt connection updates at incorrect time
  • Game now waits for dialogue close before showing final comic panels
  • Game now prevents player from going back into gardens during chase, plus changed anvil sound triggers to run in background
  • Fixed birds during the ball so they will rotate to face the player
  • Should no longer be possible to repeatedly skip 15 mins every time pre-ball autosave is loaded
  • The Missing Person "Investigate Room 20" and "Staff" now has correct mindmap connection text/timing
  • Ward’s bark now makes more sense If you try to enter the Lucid Dream without "Shared Dreams”
  • Interacting with Eamonn's Painting from all angles no longer hides Goibniu and Deane from view, making the sequence unclear.
  • Trying to sleep in the bed past day 1 now accurately displays time cost
  • It's no longer possible to file mind map lead for research smiting in book of gods before you've seen the book of gods
  • No longer able to get the black screen in the entrance hall by spamming enter at point of no return
  • Fixed issue in the Catacombs where clicking on an object named “DOOR” makes one minute pass but not the location.
  • Added failsafes to make sure Ward isn't killed by fae until after 9pm day 3
  • Unknown Sigils now say "unknown" at the end chamber
  • *3 visual variations of portal scenes added for each ending
  • Fixed Visual flicker fix in store room after Arwa’s quest
  • Darragh's voice line no longer duplicate and text has been adjusted to match
  • Mysterious symbol inventory text reworded.
  • Cathal, Ivy, Victoria and Arwa mysteries now unlock from eavesdrops in the women's changing room and graveyard
  • Talking to Ines or Victoria for the first time on day 3 won't give you dialogue referring to day 2
  • Changed how player's position is set up in final Ivy & Victoria scene
  • Updated mind map connections for Ivy’s quest for better guidance
  • Adjusted Victoria's dialogue to reflect her lore
  • Fixed issue when clicking on “mystery” when speaking with Jonathan Blake First Voice Over line when discussing philanthropy with Skerritt is no longer missing VO
  • Notification now triggered for cigar burn discussion unlock when presented with bridge game
  • You will now not be able to enter Father Sinnott's room after solving his mystery.
  • Discussion update notification should correctly trigger after talking to Dupre about the exorcism
  • Made third aspect discussable with Dupre with dialogue from missing aspect, and updated cutscenes to remove overhead icons
  • Can now speak to Dupre when he has an eavesdrop with Carmela at 2pm on Day 2
  • Blocks on Ines’ puzzle box will now deselect properly on gamepad.
  • Updated well minigame to add more guidance towards additional components
  • Trash bin in Varley's room is no longer purple
  • Adjusted position of treasure chest slightly to avoid clipping
  • Silently drop safe code evidence if player doesn't have it when they open the safe
  • Fixed an issue where the text after a comma was not rendering in credits
  • Added ability to skip starting flicker on skip cutscene menu for credits.
  • In Doctor Callaghan's room after he moves the camera out there's no longer a collision for the camera
  • Fixed how Doctor Callaghan moves position when you save/load after he takes your picture
  • Fixed the way highlights show up interactions in detective vision.
  • Pushed max FOV to 105 for accessibility
  • Plant texture in Drawing Room now turning to face the player properly
  • Crouching footsteps now sound slower than walking ones.
  • Analysis of all crosses (Caitlin, Doyle, Fiadh, Ruairi and Sinnott) should now unlock correct library topics and facts
  • Book on table in Drawing room is now highlighted in detective mode
  • Leaving a talk now costs 11 ticks, standardised all talk times to 30 mins
  • There’s no longer a sound of a door opening after the Séance cutscene.
  • Several typos fixed
  • Skerritt is no longer clipping into the pews at 12pm on Day 3
  • Clock in Varley's room and the taxidermy pheasant in O'Finn's room are no longer red
  • Leaving and re-entering the east corridor closet will allow you do redo the panel combination even if you have already done it before
  • Adjusted Darcy's position to make her look more directly at Varley.
  • You should no longer be able to talk to Etienne through the bridge.
  • Updated discussion unlock UI to fix spelling and image quality

We know that we said the previous patch was the final one of 2025 but the team found time to address a few more issues ahead of the festive break in the full game and the demo.
  • Fixed an issue where analyzing Jonathan Blake in the drawing room freezes the game

The demo has been updated to be in line with released game, this included a number of minor tweaks and bug fixes already implemented in the full game.

The latest patch for The Séance of Blake Manor is now live on Steam.

Please note that the following changelog may contain spoilers.

Changelog
  • Fixed an issue where the camera dramatically moved around for about a minute after cancelling an analysis exit on the steam deck.
  • Text in other languages should no longer lead to overflowing text boxes
  • Added better glyph support for keyboards in other languages so push buttons should no longer say "Retur”
  • Added an option that allows for disabling controller vibration
  • Added improvements to stop some glyphs showing up as text for keyboards in different languages
  • Researching Norman Blake in the library no longer freezes the game
  • The door leading to unassigned room 21 now correctly shows it’s unlocked on the map, and the hallway that leads to Unassigned room 07 and Father Sinnott’s Room now both show up.
  • Skipping time more than once now shows the correct time cost
  • Fixed an issue with the east corridor closet where you’d be unable to interact with the panel to unlock the door to the changing rooms after loading a save with it completed already
  • Game no longer freezes if you interact with Dresser Drawers in Ward's Room, then reload while they are open.
  • Horse carriage interaction now correctly plays when it is in front of the manor
  • CTA Bark and Verified False Connection now triggers correctly when reloading a save in any of the Unassigned Rooms
  • The doors that lead from the west and east tower to the basement should correctly show their unlocked status on the map before interacting with them
  • Room 7 should correctly show it’s unlocked status on the map before interacting with it
  • Last letter of "reset" now fits correctly in the UI of puzzle boxes.
  • Opening lines from Ward should match the VO “hello”
  • Fixed Deane arrival hiring letter text flow on mindmap.
  • Toussaint is now a topic of discussion
  • No longer necessary to leave the room and re-examine everything in an unassigned room in order to get the CTA Bark and Verified False Connection (after reloading a save where this was done already)
  • Reloading a save before Deane’s bedroom door no longer reloads all art including markings for the sigil.
  • Mystery Unlocked notification for Who fought with Miss Deane now pops up correctly.
  • Culprit fact notification pops up correctly when Who Fought with Miss Deane mystery completes.
  • "The Fight" Mr. Skerritt connection now updates at the correct time
  • In the catacombs, walking into this corner of cell 4 no longer causes you to fall through the map.
  • Who went missing: [spoiler[Talking to Fiadh about Long red Hair now progresses the who went missing quest.
You can now exit the Laundry Room in the Basement from both doors.
Updated hotspot so it’s easier to interact with contract in Varley's safe
Blowing yourself up during the chemical puzzle now advances time Ward’s VO lines at the Silent Dinner should now match the dialogue text
References to “Teddy Bear” have been updated to stuffed bear
Mister O finn's bloodline and Miss Deane's Bloodline nodes are no longer instantly filed into the mindmap on entering the Lab. Same with Tir na nÓg.
Fail state: Slice SFX & Screenshake doesn't play if you run up the church stairs and get killed by fae Various sfx additions and fixes to the end chamber scene
Hunter's Mystery no longer tells you to Investigate His Room for "Old Photograph", as it's in Ivy's Room. Mind map guidance added to find the 'Old Photograph' in Ivy's Room. The timetable UI now reflects Hunters timetable response.
Hunter’s Timetable now reflects the hours he is at the Gardens in the evening.
Mr. Hunter’s location while in the front courtyard is now correctly labeled on the timeline
Victoria Lau no longer has a crossed connection after presenting Drugged Water Jug to her and/or confronting her, and Catacombs key is no longer floating.
No longer able to spend infinite ticks on the bag of rings and the death certificate.
D'Arcy's poison vial should remain the same after loading a save
Father Sinnott's Journal now correctly updates the timeline.
Skerritt's Schedule texture is no longer red
Carmela VO and dialogue text now match for the line "Were it to cause much trouble, I would not do it."
Dupre/Mantovani Day 2 at 2pm eavesdrop in Hedge Maze no longer stays available after moving Dupre to fire pit
Can no longer spend infinite ticks on Irish Mythology Book in Dupre's room and Medical Cert in D'Arcy's Room
Lloyd Dupré now has his correct name instead of "Guest" on the tooltip
Fact UI: OFinn now correctly says "Missus Erickson", instead of "Miss".
Quinn has been moved to the library at 7pm to resolve an issue where their quest could not be completed during the last few hours of Day 3
"Profile Miss Quinn" lead now shows the correct name
Arwa appears less suddenly after clicking the vase at the end of her quest
A number of performance tweaks to hopefully reduce the number of game crashes
Several typos have been fixed
Corrected entries in Lau's profile that still said Lan Fen

This is the final patch for 2025 due to the holiday period and a well-earned break for the team.
