Patch 1.1.21

  • "No Target" text has been removed to not obstruct game view when you don't have a target.
  • A message is now displayed when enabling or disabling healthbars.
  • Other healthbar show range is now equal to your creature's smell range. When outside of this range the healthbar will clear its target. Smell range is determined by your creature's smelling category. Weak, average, strong, and apex.

Patch 1.1.20

  • To resolve the issue of overhead healthbars not being the best size for their owner and considering your own size, overhead healthbars have been removed from the game. In their place there will be a single healthbar for living creatures and a single bar for food in the top left corner of the screen. This is toggled the same way that overhead healthbars were toggled, using the F1 key while playing a creature. This also slightly improves performance and slightly reduces the memory usage of the game. You can see the healthbar for a target by either attacking it, eating it, or smelling it. The escape key will clear your target.
  • Fixed, morphing your creature's skin to a new skin pattern is working again.
  • Now, rotting food is set to have 10 toxicity, down from 50 toxicity. This was done in case you accidentally ate some rotten food it wouldn't be as life-threatening. Toxicity still goes up to 200%. Up to 100% toxicity your health regeneration will get less and less until at 100% you will stop regenerating health and will start losing health up to 200% toxicity.

Patch 1.1.19

  • Fixed a glitch where if you camouflaged you would be instantly pulled out of camouflage if you had run toggled on even if you weren't moving.
  • Toggling walk mode can now be done without having to be moving.
  • Now insect tasks are no longer available to your creature if you are a juvenile and your size category is medium or larger.
  • You are once again able to gain experience points from eating food. 1% per bite, modified by up to 2x depending on the nutritional value of the food.
  • The quetzalcoatlus sleep animation now loops.

Patch 1.1.16

  • Randomizing the colors of your skin patterns has been removed from the game for the time being due to swapping to the Virtual Texturing system. This system reduces the amount of memory the game uses and instead streams creature textures from your hard drive or solid state drive. This also lets us use 8k resolution skin textures at no addition cost, instead of using 2k resolution skin textures, so the skin textures look more detailed now. The game now starts up using 19gb of memory, down from 26gb, but will gradually use more over time. The game startup time is slightly reduced now as well.
  • Fixed a glitch that was allowing too many nest insects to spawn.
  • Fixed a glitch that was allowing too many fish to spawn.
  • Reduced the maximum amount of freshwater fish allowed in the player's area to 16, down from 32.
  • Reduced the amount of saltwater fish allowed in the player's area to 64, down from 256.

Patch 1.1.13

Removed the spine animator component from the new carnotaurus model because it was allowing the model to stretch too far while moving.
