Quetzalcoatlus Footsteps Fix

🔹Quetzalcoatlus has been taken down one footstep tier for walking on grass and rocks. Walking on sand was already taken down a tier, I had forgotten to lower the other two cases.

🔹Rare dinosaurs now have a 25% chance to spawn versus their previous 10%.

Aquatics Fixes

🔹All dinosaurs' 'Thinking' delay has been reduced, so dinosaurs make decisions faster.

🔹All dinosaurs' 'Reflex' delay has been reduced, so dinosaurs take action faster.

🔹Aquatic dinosaurs no longer look for food or targets to hunt that are on land.

🔹Aquatic dinosaurs no longer smell dinosaurs that are on land.

🔹Dinosaurs now lose their target if they are aquatic and their target comes onto land.

🔹Dinosaurs now lose their target if they are not aquatic or amphibious and their target goes under the water's surface.

🔹All bugs are now more nutritious to help hatchlings grow faster.

🔹Bugs with higher nutrition are more likely to spawn.

🔹All dinosaurs larger than tiny dinosaurs are now more nutritious.

🔹Shadows can now be seen further away.

🔹Smelling highlights/outlines are now colored when using nightvision.

🔹Dinosaurs now have a 'Fearful' property. Fearful dinosaurs are more likely to flee from dangerous situations compared to a non-fearful dinosaur.

Footsteps Update Adjustments


🔹Quetzalcoatlus was taken down one footstep tier, so they now have lighter footsteps.

🔹Footstep pitch no longer changes depending on if a dinosaur is walking, running, or sprinting. This was done to make the sound effect sound as much like the original sound as possible.

🔹Ambient sound effects now play even if you aren't playing a creature.

🔹Ambient sound effects now switch to a different biome faster, from a 10 second delay to a 1 second delay.

🔹Changed the grass footsteps sounds for average-sized dinosaurs.

🔹Some dinosaurs now call less often.

🔹When the player walks left, right, or backwards it is now considered 'walking' and plays the walking sound effect.

🔹Resource (edible plants, trees, fish) colliders are now disabled when a resource despawns and it is enabled when it respawns. This way players won't run into tree colliders that have despawned and are no longer there causing collision.

Footsteps Update

🔹All existing footstep sounds have been replaced with new sounds, except for maybe a couple of stomp sounds. There is a different set of sounds that play for walking on forest ground, sandy ground, and rocky ground. There are two-legged and four-legged variations for each sound and there are sounds for six different sizes of dinosaurs.

FPS Increase #1

🔹This is the first of a series of fps increases.

🔹The fps has been increased in various cases by between 50% and 400%.

🔹More fps increases should be coming in the near future.
