The World of Kungfu Official Version Delay Announcement
Dear players, we apologize for the delay in our original plan to start testing and release in Q2. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
Based on our current progress, we expect to begin testing in August. After testing, there will be a brief adjustment period before the official version is released. Thank you for your patience!
Reasons for the Delay:
The original EA script was intended to be 200,000 Chinese characters, with the Central Plains chapter estimated at 250,000 Chinese characters. However, the final script for the Central Plains chapter expanded to 400,000 Chinese characters, pushing the total storyline script beyond 600,000 Chinese characters (excluding skills, equipment, anecdotes, and character info). In addition to the three main storylines, various character arcs will also unfold within the Central Plains chapter. Player choices will not only influence different endings but also have the potential to reshape history. The intricate branching paths necessitate extensive debugging and dialogue refinement, contributing to the delays.

Recommendations for the Central Plains Chapter:
1. There are 10 main storylines available, including Ragged Ranger, Feather Robe, Wulu Palace, Shaolin, Mount Heng, Prodigy of the East, Wide of the West, and Recluse of the North.
2. Each of these storylines contains hidden branches, leading to a total of 17 different endings.
3. Players can unlock the final fate of teammates in each storyline. In the Ragged Ranger storyline, players have the chance to unlock endings for all martial characters apart from the main ones. The endings for the same character vary depending on the storyline chosen.
4. Some storylines feature romantic confession plots❤, and the characters available for confession may differ slightly based on the protagonist's gender. However, for certain unconventional martial artists, gender norms may not be so rigid...
5. In one storyline, players will change the course of real history.
6. In another storyline, players can mediate between sects & forces, prevent the collapse of the dynasty, and trigger a perfect ending. A prophet at a certain ferry crossing will provide hints for the perfect storyline.
7. The scope of each storyline varies. It is recommended to start with the Feather Robe > Wulu Palace > Ragged Ranger (without joining any sect) for the first playthrough, and then explore other storylines after becoming familiar with the background.

Separated Aspects
In the Central Plains chapter, you will reunite with an old friend along with the Ragged Brother. The old friend mentioned that you and Wanyan Yong were Separated Aspects who would never see each other again. Now, at this crossroads, your paths may lead to an uncertain future.
*Separated Aspects: "the incompatibility of Shen and Shang stars." This phrase originates from ancient Chinese astronomy and literature, specifically referring to the stars Shen (Orion) and Shang (Antares). These stars are noted for their astronomical opposition: when one rises, the other sets, symbolizing separation and discord.

The official demo is now available on Steam. You can download it directly, for the trial process, please refer to the previous announcement.
Next, we'll prioritize optimizing the storyline and performance of the official version, aiming to start testing and launch as soon as possible!
