In this latest update, we've introduced several exciting additions and improvements to enhance your BEACHED experience. Navigate your world more efficiently with the new in-game compass, and strategize your raids with the addition of C4 and Satchel charges. Crafting just got easier with the new crafting queues, allowing you to multitask your crafting efforts.

Customization gets a boost with the return of skins and the introduction of the item store, where you can access all your previous purchases and personalize your gear. Keeping your environment tidy, dropped items and stashes now automatically despawn after 10 minutes.

Weapon mechanics have been refined, with improved visibility for ironsights and quicker scope-in times for smoother gunplay. Resource management sees adjustments, with bow and arrow crafting recipes no longer requiring metal scrap, and the rarity of high-end weapons increased to heighten gameplay progression.

On the technical side, numerous bug fixes have been implemented, addressing issues ranging from door mechanics to server stability, ensuring a more stable and enjoyable experience overall.

With these changes, we aim to provide a more immersive, balanced, and polished gameplay experience, reflecting our commitment to delivering quality updates based on player feedback. Thank you for your continued support as we strive to make your gaming experience even better.

+ Crafting Queues - You can now craft multiple items at once!

+ Skins & Item Store - Skins have made a return, all of your previous skin purchases are saved and you can now access them in the "skins" tab inside the crafting menu!
+ Dropped items now despawn after 10 minutes on the ground
+ Item Stashes now despawn after 10 minutes on the ground
+ Ironsights are now much more visible on every weapon
+ Scope in time significantly reduced to make gunplay feel much more fluid

Changes
+ Bow Crafting Recipe no longer requires metal scrap
+ Arrow Crafting Recipe no longer requires metal scrap
+ All types of guns are much more rare, *dev note* aiming to make the gameplay loop feel a bit slower and much more rewarding when you work your way up towards crafting a high end military weapon.
+ Trees, Nodes, and interactable foliage now respawn every 10 minutes as opposed to 10 seconds.

Fixes
+ Fixed an issue with being able to close an open locked door
+ Fixed an issue with TC's not saving after server restarts
+ Fixed an issue with item icon in inventory being stuck on crosshair while closing inventory and moving item at the same time
+ Fixed an issue with not being able to build on dedicated servers after awhile
+ Fixed an issue with foliage despawning and spawning in at close ranges
+ Fixed an issue with player data being saved everytime player shoots (would often cause the player to be kicked from the server)
+ Fixed an issue with Grenades having no collision and being thrown through bases

Hey everyone! We are shipping a pretty hefty update today that addresses a numerous number of bugs as well as introduces back some old features. Full changelog below!


BUG FIXES
Hitmarker Sound No Longer Plays to All Players
Building Sound No Longer Plays to All Players
Tactical Vest no longer gives 2 extra slots
Temperature Disabled
Items no longer drop through foundation
Storage data is now saved, storages can now be placed
Enemy Human AI should now spawn correctly at certain monuments

BEACHED - Revamped

Hey everyone, it's been awhile!



We have rebuilt Beached on a brand new engine and now with an immersive, true first person experience. We can't wait for you guys to try it out!

NEW

(These are very barebone at the moment, we are going to be adding password protected capabilities, admin commands to ban players and much more customizability in the future)
- Ranged Bandits now spawn at various monuments dropping cash, ammo, and resources!
- A trader to buy or sell items has now moved in to the lighthouse, talk to him to trade cash for guns, resources and more!
- Trees now tip over after being cut down, there is also an audio cue so you can hear when players chop trees near you!
- New particle effects when chopping/mining resources
- Sensitivity Settings (these are still a little buggy at the moment, we are working towards making it more precise
- Aiming should feel much more accurate now, removed aim smoothing from engine settings
- Bandages and consumables now have a 2 second delay between
- Player movement is tweaked to be slower now, making the game feel much more immersive and slows down the pace of the game.

DISABLED

Because we have rebuilt on an updated version of Unreal Engine, there are some missing features that were in the previous updates/game version. We will be adding these features back as soon as possible!

0.50 - A Whole New Beached Awaits...



Hello Beachers!

We are thrilled to announce the release of Beached V.50, the latest version of our popular survival game. This update brings several new features that we believe will make your gaming experience even better.

One of the most exciting new features in Beached V.50 is the introduction of Official Servers. We've worked hard to optimize the network performance, so you can expect a smoother and more enjoyable gameplay experience on our official servers. Additionally, we've also made several improvements to the game's gunplay mechanics, so you can expect a more satisfying and immersive combat experience.

Another exciting addition to the game is the Third Person view, allowing you to see your character from a different perspective. This will give you a better view of your surroundings, making it easier to navigate and strategize.

We've also reworked the raiding system, making it more balanced and fair. Players can now expect a more enjoyable and challenging raiding experience, and defenders can better defend their bases against attacks.

To further enhance the gameplay experience, we've added new Map POIs, including a new desert biome with its own unique challenges and resources. We've also reworked the snow biome, making it more challenging and realistic, and added new trees that are more visually appealing and realistic.

Gathering resources is now more efficient and rewarding thanks to our reworked harvesting system. Additionally, we've added a new revive system, allowing players to revive fallen teammates during combat.

In terms of loot, we've added new loot tables, including military weapons and gun attachments, giving players access to more powerful weapons and accessories. We've also added weapon flashlights, which will be particularly useful in the new nuclear power plant POI, where players will need a flashlight to navigate through the caves.

Overall, we're very excited about the future of Beached V.50 and are confident that these new features will enhance your gaming experience. We look forward to hearing your feedback and hope you enjoy the update as much as we enjoyed making it.
