Small Patch v0.14.6.20

We've added a new indicator to help players figure out if their shop item is correctly on a floor. You can see this information if your TAB inventory menu is open and you hover over a shop item.

Hopefully this will assist fellow shopkeepers in figuring out why customers won't interact with some shop items!

  • Added UI display if you have the TAB menu open and hovering over a shop item to show if it is on a proper shop floor tile
  • Non-staggerable enemies can no longer be ragdolled by explosions
  • Removed Bamboo Scythe's unblockable attribute of its second attack so that players don't push around items in their farms with addition lower stamina cost and damage
  • Bellsworn Shark can no longer be staggered
  • Sprinklers no longer take damage from Bamboo Scythe

  • Fixed NPC dialogue being inaccessible for other players if client opens and closes the shop
  • Fixed client not seeing correct name for recipe books
  • Recipe books should no longer stack with each other
  • Fixed recipe books not saving the right recipe ID sometimes
  • Bellsworn Shark now drops correct Bellcoat Bell instead of Hotel Bell
  • Fixed some missing collision and stairs in Kazai Castle

Hotfix v0.14.6.19

[h2]Make sure you have floor pieces underneath shop items![/h2]

The picture above is an example where displays are placed on top of foundation pieces -- this means customers will not be able to access them. Customers can only interact with items that are on top of floor pieces.

Also, make sure you have shop floor tiles underneath displays that you want your customers to use! To switch floor types, press E on a floor with the Bamboo Construction Hammer.

We'll be looking into ways to tell players this information in-game so for now please spread the word if you this happening to other people.

Here's a small hotfix for some minor issues.

  • Added Castle 45 Degree Roof building piece
  • Changed Longing for the Ordinary to require Farmer Hats for better narrative immersion and increased Farmer Hat drop rates

  • Fixed player totem being loaded in as a "fake" item
  • Improved some pathfinding in general
  • Fixed duplicating items in death boxes
  • Fixed enemies spawning inside Bazaar Outlaw Encampment sometimes
  • Fixed several AI pathing issues relating to Triangle Display Shelf (for those of you that stole from Ambrosia!)

Hotfix v0.14.6.17

Here are a few hotfixes based on user reports. You can send in your own reports via the ESC -> Help -> Report a Bug button which can also upload your save file if you enable the check box.

Sorry for the frequent updates -- we just want to make sure we make things right for a few users. We are trying our best to limit the number of patches per month!

  • Fixed a crash that could happen with fast traveling to specific crafting configurations (if you sent us a bug report where you crashed when teleporting to Pop Pop's house, this should be fixed now)
  • Fixed a rare case if an employee was loaded beneath the ground causing them to die and making their status show as "Home" instead of loading in properly in the "Working" state
  • Adjusted interactable collider for North Star platform to resolve a user's issue where they placed an North Star item on the platform and couldn't get it out
  • Adjusted Prologue building and Shoe Box LOD ranges

  • Added Dumpster and Trash Can Cart as valid shop trash can items
  • Customers now require a little more trash before they leave a dirty shop review for better leeway

  • Fixed Beauty not updating properly when drag selecting items into containers
  • Fixed employee clothing not visible on client if client is in a different chunk than the host
  • Fixed employee preview clothing renderer not updating properly for clients
  • Possibly fixed eyebrow / beard hair not saving (we couldn't repro this but added a blind fix)
  • Possibly fixed shop sign UI not being counted as being in the shop (also couldn't repro this but added a blind fix)
  • Fixed a case where fire attribute could be applied for 9999 seconds
  • Made it more lenient for AI to navigate to trash cans
  • Fixed Beauty not applying/reapplying properly when unloading certain prop chunks while not unloading terrain chunk
  • Fixed some electricity nodes being disconnected on load due to some optimizations
  • Fixed code exception with nav mesh save code

Hotfix v0.14.6.15

  • Fixed being unable to plant Crop Plot with the Bamboo Hoe near Freda's farm despite there being valid grass/dirt (unfortunately, this is the one place where it really needed to work)
