Game patch 1.0.20 hotfix

Hey folks!

There was a minor oversight on my part in the previous patch, which caused the game to crash when clicking on the "View results" button from the main menu. This has been fixed just now

Apologies for the inconvenience.

Game patch 1.0.20

Hey folks!

This patch brings the ability to drop your currently worn body armor, disable the LOS spinner in the options menu, and other various tweaks to the game.

Version 1.0.20:
- when a goon that's sitting needs to get up (heard/seen something), they will now have a slight delay before getting up, instead of doing it instantly
- added the ability to drop armor - the default key for this action is F1
- added the ability to disable the line-of-sight spinner (the red circle that indicates where the LOS is blocked, along the path towards the crosshair)
- tweaked the microphone sample rate in hopes of fixing mic input not registering any sound
- displaying the total amount of enemies in a level on the scoreboard now
- fixed goons disabling lights after you'd enable and disable the same light source, resulting in them happily sitting in the dark
- fixed incorrect saving of NPC memories, resulting in them sometimes acting the way they shouldn't be acting (ie. not responding to certain things happening in the game world)
- fixed goons attempting to pathfind too early in some cases after resetting to the last save (not loading), resulting in them not finding a path, and refusing to move

Game patch 1.0.19

This patch fixes a number of various issues that have been reported by the community recently.

Version 1.0.19:
- fixed accidental enemy friendly fire kills not being counted towards the "Unrelenting Anger" achievement, resulting in being unable to unlock the achievement if so much as 1 NPC was killed by friendly fire from another NPC (this will, unfortunately, require a new full playthrough... as the kill count was being incorrectly saved, and so a single friendly fire death cancels out the achievement. I am really sorry for this inconvenience)
- when throwing the last throwable/dropping a weapon, the player will now switch to the last weapon used, as opposed to the first weapon available in the inventory
- crashlogs will now be saved to timestamped files located in C:/Users//AppData/Roaming/intravenous/crashes/
- fixed being able to do a back-attack right after throwing some kind of throwable (grenade/knife/empty mag)
- fixed 1 spot where the player could get stuck in Drug Mob Casino
- fixed a crash related to vent shafts, improved enemy vent staring logic
- fixed being able to infinitely get savefiles by exploiting a certain game mechanic
- fixed the game saving unnecessary playthrough data

What's Next? #2

Hey everyone!

It's been a week since release, and wow, what a crazy week that was. Lots of community feedback, lots of patches, good stuff overall. I would like to thank folks that are active in the Steam discussions - your bug reports and feedback regarding the game makes it a better experience for everyone. Thanks a lot!

Now, I decided to spend another week tweaking the game based on the feedback the players provide. This time it will be more on the technical side of things, as opposed to balance tweaks, since I believe balance-wise the game is much better than it was on launch day. There might be a couple of balance tweaks too, but for the time being I'd like to dedicate my attention to a couple of technical things that are on my to-do list.

So, to keep it short, you can expect various QoL improvements, so things the community has asked for previously - brightness adjustment, etc.

Here's a full list of the plans for the game's updates going forward in the near future:
Map editor & Workshop support

Implementation of more community suggestions/feedback

Full modding support

Trading cards, backgrounds, emojis!
The things on the list will most likely be done in a top-down manner (first thing on the list gets done first, last thing - last).
The trading cards (and the rest), however, require almost zero work from me. They depend fully on the artistic merit of the person preparing these, so this might come sooner - before any of the big updates, even!

That about wraps it up for the second "What's Next?" post in the series!

Game patch 1.0.18

Hey folks!

There was a minor oversight in patch 1.0.16 that granted a savefile upon picking up any weapon, rather than a unique one. This has been fixed now.
