Stable Version Patch Notes - v0.84.287.119

Resource Point Ecological Cycle Mechanism:
  1. Adjusted the layout of resource points when creating a new game.
  2. Added a button for toggling on/off of showing resource points in Map (M).
  3. Added two new resource points - Gold and Jade in Standard Mode and Sandbox Mode.
  4. Added degeneration mechanism of Fertile Soil and Grassland.
  5. Optimized the visual effect and buff range display of Fertile Soil and Grassland .
  6. Adjusted the buff effect of Fertile Soil and Grassland to 50%.
  7. Added respawn mechanism of Fishing Point after drought.
  8. Added respawn mechanism of Hunting Point, Seeds Point.
  9. Added buff same as Fertile Soil in the surrounding of Compost Plant.
  10. Added buff same as Grassland in the surrounding of Mill and Watermill.
  11. Adjusted the model of oat plant in the wild.


Artistic Performance:
  • Added 12 kinds of citizen models with different appearance as age grows on Standard Mode and Sandbox Mode (Please note that new citizens models will only show in new-born citizens in old saves).
  • Optimized the visual performance of Dense Farm and Dense Orchard, now crops won't grow outside of the structure.
  • Added some decorative buildings to floor list.
  • Added new decorative building - Prisoner Wagon.
Feature Adjustments:
  • Optimized the marching road of Tornado and Sandstorm, now they will show in any direction.
  • Optimized the icon prompts of building status, now buildings can show multiple status icon at the same time.
  • Optimized the description of upgraded buildings after structure upgrade, added notes of increased efficiency.
  • Optimized the content in Help logs, added more notes on the hotkeys and fixed some obsolete notes.
  • Added introduction about how to trade in Dock on Tutorials.
  • Adjusted the floor space of Flower Bed 3, and adjusted the name of Chair to Garden Bench and changed its floor space.
  • Removed the in-game announcement of Idle Chicken Activity.
Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed the Luxury Furniture Factory upgraded from Furniture Factory not having increased efficiency. (Added the work flow of furniture factory.)

Alpha version Patch Notes -Settlement Survival - v0.84.287.119

[Important] This update is implemented only in the testing version (Alpha) of our game and will not be synchronized to stable release version (steam default one) until it is stable enough.
If you want to experience new contents in advance, you can manually switch the game to Alpha version as describe below.

    Right-click Survival Settlement in the Steam LIBRARY, select Properties - BETAS, and choose the game version you want to participate. No need to fill in any code and the game will switch to the version of your choice after closing the window. (In some cases the game may need update and Steam restart.)
  2. Game Saves Compatibility
    In cases of major content changes or new contents, game save file in Alpha and stable version may not be compatible.
    We will try to avoid this situation as much as possible and will post a notice about save file usage in advance if necessary.
  3. Warning
    In Alpha version, you may come across more bugs or crashes. No need to panic. Just contact us through the following ways.

Settlement Survival Quarter 3 RoadMap

Hey everyone, it’s been a long time since we released our last Roadmap.
A lot has happened in the half year since the game was released, most of which exceeded our original plans but overall, thanks to the generous support of everyone, we could still be able to work tirelessly to continue improving this game. Although we did haven’t implemented lots of content in the initial RoadMap.
Just recently, we have completed the discussion of the work plan for the next quarter, and brought you the RoadMap Q3 2022 as seen in the picture above.
The original content in plan is far more than that, but due to the troubling factors such as the lockdown and blockade of the epidemic and the change of personnel, we are not so confident to plan so far ahead. So we are going to leave our more detailed thoughts in the following part. It should be noted that some of the content is still only an imperfect idea.


Game Update Plan
Platform Transplantation:
  • SteamDeck:We recently have received the development kit SteamDeck (thank you so much Valve for providing such a excellent development kit). We tried running the game on SteamDeck and it brought us a huge surprise. We can run Settlement Survival smoothly on it and the experience of the game is similar to the PC version once we spent several minutes to get a hang of the automatic adaptation key bindings on SteamDeck. In the next period of time, we will try to better support the joystick operation, and try to continue to reduce the performance consumption, power consumption and heat problems of the game. If everything goes well, these could be done by the end of 2022.


  • Mobile Device:Some players might have known that we have been working on porting the game to mobile device since last period of time. With the tailored UI and operation adjustment designed for mobile devices, we believe that in the near future players can smoothly try out game on mobile devices. As for the publishing platform, those who are curious about it can search it by yourselves, so I won’t drop a link here. Those who haven’t known it yet can access to the detailed info via Discord and Twitter.


  • Other Platforms:Perhaps, probably, maybe will come one day.
Game Features:
  • Optimized resource points mechanism: It was just an aha moment at a meeting when we first decided to make these resource points. Now, we’ve comprehensively improved the mechanism so as to provide players better and immersive experience including the disappearing and refreshment of the resource points, new building buffs same as resource points etc.. These content will soon be released according to our plan.

  • Reworked Happiness and Health Mechanism :This part has been elaborated in DevLog #1 so we just put it here concisely, that is, we’ve overhauled the HH mechanism. Although we have paid enormous development cost, and players need to adjust themselves to the new HH mechanism, we still think it is a worthy change after our consideration.

  • Reworked UI Design:Yes, it's a literal redo, a new UI style, and we're going to overhaul most of the annoying experience.


  • New Tutorial Guides:We released a lot of new content, and even redone 40% of the features in the game, the old guides can hardly help new players adapt to the complex game content. But during this time, we still have a lot of new content and adjustments in progress, and we hope that the new guide process can cover all the old and new content, so the new guide content will be released a little later. We are very sorry for the new players but please be patient during this period of time. In addition, we will continue to invite enthusiastic players to make videos related to the early game for you to quickly be familiar with the game and better help you build a happy town.

  • New Employment and Expert: In the previous version, immigrants are very important but a little monotonous. So we discussed a new set of employment mechanism that allows players to obtain more manpower stably and new conditions for improving the population quality. We are probably be able to complete this gameplay by the end of this year.

  • Career Mode:Not much can be revealed. But buying land, exploring new areas, migrating citizens would be part of the features on this mode. Career mode is the last big piece of the puzzle for the complete game.

  • New Tourism Industry:Think about it. Your well-planned towns and cities attract many travelers here. They are enjoying the beautiful view and consuming the tasty food and drinks. You have to satisfy all sorts of needs for these travelers such as accommodation, food, drinks, medical treatment and transport and protect them from dangerous animals. And finally, after they leave, you have to clean up the mess they leave behind and those travelers will just spread your town name to places far far away, either in a good way or bad way... Alright, this content will not be up till next year, it may be a DLC but every player can access to this extra content freely.


Visual Performance:
  • Citizen Model Optimization:There are so few citizens models in our game long ago, and their action and animation seems very clumsy. But it will soon become history.

  • Building Model Optimization:For the previous version, our art designers have to bear the great pressure to produce a great number of buildings for the game in a short amount of time. In the past period of time, they finally have some time to improve and optimize the works that are completed in a rush.


  • New Music and SFX:More and longer music, various SFX.

  • Added Map Terrain:Maps with different gameplay such as Desert and Ice Field.

Here's a small patch we released today. The content is as follow:
  • Added new language support - Korean.
  • Added the announcement panel for the Town Showcase Activity.
  • Fixed the issue that NewGameSet folder cannot be copied by Mods.
