Update Details & Changes

A new update has just been released. Here are the details:

[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]

Incorrect Reflections: On water surfaces, whether in the sea or a pond, incorrect reflections of the environment were generated. This issue has been fixed.

Collisions: Over the course of updates, small issues with collisions have crept in, causing objects like small bushes or flowers to completely block the character. This has also been fixed.

[h2]New Features[/h2]

Main Menu: A small visual adjustment has been made to the main menu.

Game World: Improvements have been made to the visual presentation, and bloom effects have been added to enhance the overall look. Graphical adjustments were also made to tone down the overwhelming green-on-green effect, especially on Lost Island, in order to highlight other elements.

[h2]Changes[/h2]

Overhaul: A larger section behind the big mountain on Lost Island, where the mine is located, has been reworked due to issues with vegetation (trees and bushes). As development progresses, additional areas for looting will be created.

[h2]Optimizations[/h2]

Framerates: Lost Island continues to be analyzed for issues causing frame rate drops. Further adjustments have been made to improve frame rates.

[h2]Issues[/h2]

Ghosting: Ghosting occurs when artifacts appear while selecting items such as an axe or in the shadows of trees. This issue is caused by TSR usage and originates from the engine itself, which we have no direct control over. We recommend switching to TAA if the ghosting effect is too distracting. This is a known issue that is being worked on.

Improved Graphics Settings, Multiplayer Fixes & Storage Box Changes

I want to inform you about a new update that has just been released. Here are the details:

[h2]Graphics Settings[/h2]
From now on, you can use AMD Anti-Lag and Nvidia Reflex. However, it is advisable to use these features with caution, as they are still new to the game and might cause complications.

AMD Anti-Lag can be used together with AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution. However, during our tests, some issues arose when both features were used simultaneously. It is recommended to use either Anti-Lag or AMD FSR individually to avoid potential problems.

Therefore, I recommend trying out the feature first and checking whether it works optimally on your system.

Note: Nvidia users can also use AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution, but not in combination with Nvidia Reflex. Currently, there is no further information available regarding this.

[h2]Multiplayer[/h2]

Animation Issues: Problems with animations in multiplayer mode have been improved. Specifically, the synchronization of fist punches between players has been fixed.

Climbing: Issues with the climbing animation and the failure to execute climbing for teammates have been resolved.

Collision: A collision issue that allowed players to climb invisible obstacles has been fixed.

[h2]Storage Boxes[/h2]

Small additional changes have been made: When dismantling or destroying storage boxes, campfires, and other objects, the contents will now spawn in a small container. Users need to collect or relocate the contents of this container if they wish to keep them. Please note that this spawned container is not permanently saved and will disappear after some time.

Enhanced Performance, New Features, and Adjustments

Hello Community,

I would like to inform you about a new update that has just been released. Here are the details:

Overhead
On the Lost Island Map, there have been recurring significant performance drops, the cause of which was unclear for a long time. The issue has now been identified, and initial improvements have been implemented. Further optimizations are already in progress to further improve performance.

A part of the improvements is already available. If you're playing on Ultra, you should now expect 60-80+ FPS. I recommend limiting the frame rate to 60 or 90 FPS to relieve the load on your GPU.

If this isn't enough, you can enable FSR in the game. This can significantly improve the frame rate, potentially even doubling it.

Main Menu
There was also a minimal performance drop here, which has now been completely resolved.

Cooking
You can now cook mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, bananas, pumpkins, and carrots. More cooking options are already planned.

Previously, potatoes and carrots could be consumed directly, but now you will receive more food and water through cooking.

Converter
The "Trash Converter" has been renamed and is now available as "Converter."

With this, you can now extract more items and automate many processes. For example, you can convert old clothes into yarn or potatoes into seeds for the garden. Screws and nails can now be converted into Rubbish. A full list of items that can be converted is available in the main menu in the database.

Companions
The companions (Beagle, Wolfdog, and Leopard) have also been overhauled. Optimizations were made to further enhance performance, as the companions were often loaded unnecessarily when they weren’t visible.

Animals
All animals now have a new logic, similar to the companions. Animals are now handled differently as soon as they leave the camera's field of view. Specifically, animations are stopped, and tick rates are adjusted to improve performance. These changes should help display a larger number of animals simultaneously in the game.

Boats
The boats, as a means of transport, have also been revised. A new logic has been implemented that changes how boats are loaded and improves performance. In future updates, this overhaul will be further optimized so that boats will be smoother and more pleasant when approaching and arriving.

Additionally, the horse has also been adjusted to improve performance.

Languages
Adjustments have been made to all languages.

Camera, Companions, and Performance Improvements

I wanted to inform you about a new update that has been released. Here are the details:

Player Camera:

I have disabled camera shake while running, as many of you found it uncomfortable.

Companions:

The companions (Beagle, Wolfhound, and Leopard) have been revamped. It was especially important to me that they no longer block the camera view when they are in an unfavorable angle to the player.

Additionally, I fixed a bug that allowed players to climb an invisible collision on the companion.

From now on, the button you need to press to make your companion appear or hide will be displayed in the bottom left of the screen. Some of you were confused when the display disappeared, so I’ve improved this. Note: If no button is shown in the bottom left, you currently do not have a companion.

Achievements:

I made a few adjustments, especially with the repair achievements. Previously, you could only earn the repair achievements by repairing your house. Now, repairs to tools and weapons also count.

Screws and nails are now counted individually. For example, if you find 10 screws at once, they will be counted as 10 units.

Performance

Further performance improvements have been made. On the Mountain, Tropical Island, and Red Desert maps, the frame rates were already within a balanced range, but with additional changes, the performance has been further enhanced.

Lost Island, on the other hand, still has issues with frame rates, despite many factors that should contribute to a significant performance boost, which, for unexplained reasons, has not yet achieved the desired result. A slight improvement has been made, which can also be doubled with FSR, but my goal is to bring these frame rates into a balanced range even without FSR.
