Update Dec.08.2023: 4K Text Fix!
Text/interface
More to come! Enjoy and stay tuned! :)
- Text is no longer tiny at 4K & 1440p resolutions.
- Replaced 'medium' font, no longer an abomination mix of SL1 & SLRR assets.
- Fixed speed & gear text not disappearing for first person driving (with the relevant setting enabled), if tach font setting has been changed during that session.
- Fixed non-digital tach font lacking subtle coloring.
- Added an option to disable the damage indicator.
- Added an option for metric speed (OSD only).
- Test track 1/4 mile test now displays your finishing speed.
- Fixed game crash upon right-clicking photo mode OSD items while inside a shop.
- Scroll inputs are no longer accepted by garage & dealer while any dialog is open (inventory won't scroll when scrolling catalog pages, car selection won't change while scrolling financial tab, etc...).
- CarInfo financial tab now scrolls 1 item at a time when using the scroll wheel, rather than 10 at a time. This will be much easier to keep track of.
- Swapped CarInfo financial tab LMB/RMB scroll functions.
- Interface-related options now have their own page in the options menu, rather than being under advanced options. There weren't enough such options to warrant their own category when these menus were originally designed :D
- Cars now always come with a driver's seat at the dealer, so they're always driveable as purchased, just like in the original game.
- 16" wheels (and therefore drag tyres) can now be installed on Furrano, Naxas and Whisper.
This is like older versions of SL1, where they were considered as 21", therefore were compatible. - Shiny shock surfaces now accept unique envmaps.
- Added a new set of "drag racing" shocks, designed to assist wheelies (low rebound damping), available at shop #3!
These shocks will help you pull a slight wheelie for better 0-60 times, and they have plenty of bump damping, to survive some show-off too! Performance in turns will be compromised, however!
- Improved loading screen hiding scripts - should solve rare cases of infinite loading.
- Plugged some camera rail editor playback memory leaks.
More to come! Enjoy and stay tuned! :)
