"Endless Mode" is Here Along with the Leaderboard Support!

Early Access Patch Note - V0.1.5

Fellow Primates,

Thank you for your patience! Told you we are cooking something BIG and here we are! Happy to deliver the all-new Endless Mode today as the very first game mode update post-Early Access launch!

[h3]All-New Endless Mode[/h3]
This brand new mode is for you, hardcore players!
- Play through an infinite cycle of combat rooms. Careful as you progress, as enemies and bosses will get stronger every cycle.
- Steam Leaderboard is now supported alongside the new Endless Mode. Now your Best Run Times and Max Endless Floors Conquered will be submitted and shown on Steam!

[h3]Class Balancing[/h3]
- Dino Berserker: Buffed Retaliate damage reduction.
- Dino Berserker: Buffed Retaliate damage output.
- Dino Berserker: After Retaliate, you will get a few immunity frames.
- Dino Berserker: If you activate Retaliate while moving, it will mimic the usual Dodge Roll movement.
- Dino Berserker: Bosses won't drop Secondary Weapons.
- Dino Berserker: Shaman won't appear, as you can't use the Ape Amulet.
- Sorcerer Frog: Will emit Typhoons when executing Ground Pound.
- Sorcerer Frog: Buffed Max Health (50% -> 60% of base Max Health).
- Master Dog: Buffed chances to summon random creature on melee kill (50% -> 100%).
- Master Dog: Buffed lifetime of summons (+25% -> +50%).
- Warrior Bear: Removed initial speed reduction debuff.
- Warrior Bear: Speed bonuses during the run will be reduced by 50%.
- Warrior Bear: Greatly buffed Heavy Roll damage scaling with Max Health (100% -> 300%).

[h3]Overall Difficulty Adjustment[/h3]
- Bosses in Extra Hard difficulty are faster now.
- Final Boss - Meteors attack buffed.

[h3]General[/h3]
- Defense stat capped at 60%.
- Biome name will appear when you enter a new biome.
- Lowered volume of swarm/beehive summons loop sound.
- Added more enemy combinations in arena rooms.

[h3]Bugs Fixes:[/h3]
- Killstreak timer goes down in some peaceful rooms like the mask fusion room.
- The "Flying Bomb" enemy might not trigger death animation if killed too fast on spawn.

  • Perfect for button mashers. Why bother dodging? What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

[h3]New Weapon: Beehive Branch![/h3]
  • An entire colony at the end of a stick. It is VERY SWEET, though!

[h3]Some Important Balance Tweaks (to Buff the "MEH" Spacial Attacks)[/h3]
  • Buffed bone dagger special attack damage
  • Buffed cat claws special attack damage
  • Buffed shell gauntlet special attack damage
  • Buffed pointed vine special attack damage
  • Buffed stone sword special attack damage
  • Buffed bamboo blade special attack damage
  • Buffed liana special attack damage
  • Buffed stone spear special attack damage (throw and flurry)
  • Buffed stone axe special attack damage (throw and heavy blow)

[h3]Fixes:[/h3]
  • Fixed a particular platform in the volcano area that wouldn't let you drop down sometimes.

Thank you for the overwhelming support and feedback! We’ve carefully reviewed your suggestions, and this patch addresses several gameplay improvements, while introducing some VERY EXCITING new stuff coming into the game - and that is only a beginning!

[h3]New Class: Master Dog![/h3]
  • Love summoning creatures? With Master Dog, you can focus your build around Summons and Familiars, unleashing their full potential!


[h3]New Weapon: Magic Staff![/h3]
  • Thought Sorcerer Frog’s early game was a bit slow? Not anymore! The new Magic Staff, unlockable for any class, is now Sorcerer Frog's starting weapon.


[h3]King Frogus Nerf:[/h3]
  • King Frogus has been weakened, now spawning with reduced Max Health (-15%).


[h3]Relics:[/h3]
  • Expanded Relic inventory slots from 20 to 28.


[h3]Bug Fixes:[/h3]
  • Relic “Bottled Lightning” no longer triggers when your own summons fade.

Bug fixes:
  • Bug Fixed: Dungeon generator - In rare occasions, the game offered you an unintended choice of doors that could result in a black screen if the player went through.
  • Bug Fixed: Camera might not follow the protagonist if a certain boss was killed at the very left border.
  • Bug Fixed: End game rewards were overlapping with other texts after the credits.

Dunjungle Roadmap: Exciting Updates Ahead!

We’re thrilled to share our roadmap for upcoming updates to Dunjungle! We’ve been listening to your feedback and are committed to enhancing your adventure with a host of new features and content. Here’s what you can look forward to:

To make each adventure more thrilling, we’ll be introducing additional primary and secondary weapons for players to unlock. Expect a mix of powerful weapons and those with fun, unique mechanics that will add variety and depth to your gameplay experience.

[h3]More Relics💎[/h3]
We’re designing a wider array of relics to cater to different build preferences. These new relics will not only facilitate the assembly of powerful builds but also encourage players to explore creative strategies, making each playthrough unique.

[h3]More Classes👗[/h3]
In addition to the three current classes, we’re hard at work creating new, powerful, and adorable costumes! Stay tuned for some exciting reveals coming VERY SOON!

We’re planning to design and develop many more distinct levels for players to tackle. These new maps will feature diverse landscapes, unique enemies, and challenging bosses to keep the gameplay fresh and engaging.

In addition to the new bosses that will appear on upcoming maps, we’ll be adding more bosses to existing levels. This will further enhance the game’s variety and depth, offering new challenges for seasoned players.

Get ready for new functional rooms with corresponding NPCs during your adventures! These will provide additional opportunities to adjust your build, including options to upgrade weapon rarity and re-roll weapon stats.

We’ll be adding a compendium and a bestiary, allowing players to track all the weapons, relics, enemies, and bosses they’ve encountered on their journey. This will help you keep track of your adventures and aim for completion!
