- Fixed player crews not being synced properly from client to client players, broken in EA v1.8.0.9 Experimental.
- Clients should now be notified when host is paused.
- Networked engagement preview clipboard show up and engagement start sound cues.
- Fixed desyncs in engagement friendlies/enemies progress bar.
- Fixed clients being able to cancel engagement clipboard.
- Fixed clients being able to access save/load.
- UI sorting adjustments for Steam profile overlays.
- Clients now get warning when trying to access electronics.
- Fixed missing call-in contents of call-in award messages forwarded to clients.
- Fixed duplicate observation news messages for clients.

Early Access v1.8.0.9 Experimental | Ammo & Framerate

This update is bringing significant improvements to game frame rate in large battles and co-op. Crew should also be smarter when it comes to loading guns. Longlasting audio cutoff issues present in large battles have finally been solved.

- Ships with destroyer-sized guns larger will now fire at longer ranges and fire with tighter salvo patterns. Innate gun accuracy is reduced to compensate and make for a more natural spread.
- Loader tasks are now evaluated based on how much ammo exists in a gun rather than how much the gun needs to be fully supplied.
- Removed water deflection from player 5-inch shell.
- Significant optimizations to simulation, audio, and networking.
- Alternate VFX rendering setup to render things like flak puffs efficiently.
- Improved networked crew synchronization rate.
- Including outside of combat, crew now run when there is a gun that needs more than a box of ammo to be filled up in reserve ammo.
- Changes to gun aiming threshold calculation to stop them from firing at targets prematurely.
- Subtle turn rate nerfs to Oerlikon guns.
- Fixes to player being visible upon starting engagements with crafts that can launch planes.
- Fixed audio cutoff issues in heated battles.
- Fixed crew not turning to the source of item pickup.
- Fixed an issue preventing gunners from moving on to other enemy weapons on a target when one is destroyed while the target is still locked.
- Fixed Elco 80' front meatchopper stand shape.

Certain known issues may still persist.

* Client to client on deck crew visual sync is known to fail in this build.

★ Added 5-inch 25 caliber deck gun as a main gun option to the sub chaser.
- Campaign engagement start spawn handling rewrite.
- Heavier cruisers are now able to fire up to 5000m with their main guns.
- Bofors 40 mm direct damage increased from 50 to 250.
- 3" gun AP shell base damage increased from 600 to 800.
- 3" gun AP shell splash damage increased from 200 to 400.
- Gun fire will now illuminate their surroundings.
- Muzzle flash particle emission handling and material changes.
- The upper dialog box is now networked.
- Networked ground positions randomized internal objects better synchronized.
- Networked spectator camera now transitions immediately between players.

Early Access v1.8.0.7 Experimental

- Fixed host being stuck on map unable to move when all of hosts crew had been downed with permadeath status upon sinking.
- Minor networking code optimizations.
- Reduced networking tick rate from 60 to 30 to reduce host load and fps drops, this may be increased again later after further networking code optimizations.
- Boat acceleration and engine cooling ratings are displayed again as the interrupting feature is being delayed.

You may now easily sort characters based on veterancy or attributes.



The smart-fill and auto-empty boat buttons should also prove to be useful.

- Added character management quality of life features. Sort by levels and attributes, smart fill and quick empty characters from crafts.
- Engagement preview clipboard now shows target group distance and orientation at the bottom.
- Crew is now invulnerable to overboard by impact/explosions when they are within PC-461 sub chaser helm.
- Combat heat gain is now distributed between co-op players. If a kill is credits all players, heat gain from that kill is the same as would be in singleplayer.
- Clients now see a feedback message when they request call-ins.

- Networked crew held items desync fix.
- Fixed crew sometimes clipping into slopped surfaces (often seen in Elco 77')
- Fixed squadron hold position markers no longer visible in singleplayer.
- Fixed singleplayer squadron boats not syncing camos on spawn consistently anymore.
- Fixed occasional networked camo color pattern sync issues through alternate way of syncing player camos.
- Fix attempt for co-op players unable to see named ships variations after a few engagements.
- Fixed potential cause of dialog box enter to continue key becoming broken.
- Fixed holding enter not fast forwarding text.
- Removed redundant color option for one of the Higgins 78' camo patterns.
- VFX no longer has a spawn cap.
- Certain VFX related memory optimizations.
- Certain telemetry errors handling.
