"Brand New Game" Hotfix 6

Fixed 'no dead units' check for Contracts counting special units like the Water Bubble.

Fixed Weaponized Rainbowslime not allowing the new Unit to be selected for potions or right-clicking or other effects.

Fixed the Grand Tournament store locking not locking the shortcut hotkeys related to its functions.

Fixed effects that spawn tokens (such as Water Bubble's Spring hex spawns) not clearing blocked Pit tiles if they overwrote a Pit token.

Possible fix for Spring tokens not showing their texture on some machines.

When dragging a Unit card but are unable to purchase it, the unit card will be released from the drag.

When trying to purchase a Unit but cannot, the SP amount will no longer flash except in the case where you couldn't afford the Unit.

Fixed Slogurk in Animated Sword mode still having the limit of 1 item equipped.

Fixed the Slogurk event not actually stating that equipment is limited to 1 when in duplication mode (only the Unit tooltip did, not the mix and match choice icon)

Added another safeguard to tutorial ending. Seems there is a rare issue where the final step doesn't trigger a return to main menu.

Fixed Magicannon's damage not inheriting from Spell Power properly (wrong calculation)

Fixed Thirsting Blade (event item) not having a stack cap, as described on the tooltip.

Fixed a tutorial softlock that could happen if you tried to sell Button (formerly a safety check was in place that checked against Grundy, but Button has replaced Grundy and the check wasn't updated)

"Brand New Game" Hotfix 5

Fester's max mana increased to 100 (from 75)

Fixed some enemy combatants being relegated to certain Acts only (a very old mechanic we thought was removed ages ago)

Fixed an issue where Defiler Doom potions (from the Trait Improvement perk) didn't cause their targets to die at 50% Health. Additionally, added visual effects to the Doomed targets.

Fixed several incorrect displays of what was unlocked in certain Character unlock tiers.

The Limit Lock difficulty modifier now will allow exceptions for purchasing Units if it will trigger a merge.

Selling a Unit now immediately frees its space on the Bench rather than needing to wait for the disappearing animation to run.

Guard Captain temporarily disabled in PVP until its effects can be reworked.

Fixed the Magic Meteor ignite immunity not functioning. Magic Meteor damage reduced to 175 (from 300) as this is a buff to a skill that is already proving rather strong.

Added a secondary safeguard to try to resolve this rare 'units dont cast' issue.

Fixed Spindleton's web decal being possibly de-rezzed

Fixed an issue where Defilers could execute themselves when struck with Desert Tornadoes.

Fixed an issue where enemy teams got the Shield effect from Vanguard when in the front three columns (rather than two)

Fixed Arcane Mark granting a Zwei, who no longer has the Arcane Trait. The perk now grants Fritz.

Fixed Corvid becoming invisible, an old aspect of the ability which was no longer in use.

Fixed an issue where the second stage text of the Shrine Guardian event wouldn't display.

Renamed the Shrine Guardian event to The Architect

"Brand New Game" Hotfix 4

Stormy Skies' Liftoff now Manalocks like other buffs, meaning a well-built Unit can no longer stay completely invulnerable.

Fixed an issue where River's rival mechanic didn't display the correct text with regards to its effect.

Fixed several small text issues and inconsistencies.

Fixed an odd issue where some Status Effects when timed out (as far as we can tell, only specifically Spindleton's Root effect) could purge every other Status Effect alongside them when wearing off, resulting in things like Tier 4 units losing their bonus stats, or Storm units getting stuck in the transferring state. Quite possibly the most bizarre bug we've seen in months.

Fixed an issue where units could become permanently invisible when Storm was in play in certain cases.

Fixed an issue where it was possible to obtain units that weren't parts of your team proper with Gera's Duplication in PVP.

Fixed Mage II's Manabomb not functioning properly, to the point of making Units completely unable to cast for the rest of combat in some situations.

Updated tutorial text involving the combat recap button to clarify where the button is.

Fixed a potential issue where a character would be unable to cast if they, all on the same frame and in the exact right order, got a mana gain effect, attempted to start an attack, and interrupted that attack to start a skill. This may still occur, reproducing this issue is very difficult.

Fixed the Twin Primes specialization not working if more than one pair was put into play.

"Brand New Game" Hotfix 3

Switched out Grundy for Button in the tutorial, as Scrapper now requires 3 Units.

Fixed an issue where a tutorial step could be activated and completed multiple times, resulting to some bad states (most often in the Ability Preview step)

Fixed an issue where the tutorial panel would be rendered on top of the combat recap during the Tutorial.

Slightly shrunk the Right Tray such that it doesn't cover the Sell Portal's sell value tooltip popup

Added archetype icons to a tutorial step which called out archetypes, but didn't show icons

"Brand New Game" Hotfix 2

Fixed Wanderbot's skill not functioning

Fixed Knockback speeds being higher than intended

Wanderbot now deals Attack Damage (300%) instead of 200 Spell Damage, more befitting of a Fighter.

Improved Wanderbot skill visuals.

Fixed Token status effects (such as Embers) not ending when the Unit steps off of it.

Fixed hex tokens (such as Embers) appearing brighter in the new update.

Fixed the Tutorial not using the new hex tile textures, was using a temp placeholder still.

Fixed the default hex tile material being a temp one. It is now a white/grey plastic, making it more obvious and cool when they get replaced by the act's specially textured ones.

Nerfed Tutorial Torque even more so the fight isn't quite so close (and a loss if you start by placing Mikki in thbe back)
