Sobaka Studio Turns 10 — Anniversary Sale & New REMEDIUM Big Patch!

Today marks a very special milestone — Sobaka Studio is celebrating its 10th anniversary! What a journey it has been — from our very first dream project Redeemer to our latest release Remedium. And this is only the beginning. Even greater adventures lie ahead.

To celebrate this moment with you, we’re launching a special anniversary sale along with a new update for Remedium focused on improving the user experience, polishing core systems, and fixing technical issues. This update mainly focuses on the Journal system, music and audio improvements, and various optimizations.   • [p] Updated Journal Design – The Journal now features a redesigned 2D layout with a new background texture and improved page-turning animations. Work has been done on a prototype 2D journal system using new UI widgets.[/p]
  • [p]Improved Readability – Increased text contrast in the Journal and improved scaling of text on the map and pop-ups so important information is easier to read.[/p]
  • [p]Cleaner Interface – Removed outdated references to companions (pawns) from the Journal. Unused buttons have been hidden in the Codex, and reagent entries were removed to simplify navigation.[/p]

Music & Audio

  • [p]New Music Tracks – Added music for boss battles, dungeon ambience (Golem), new ambient tracks for locations, and additional music across several game areas. [/p]
  • [p]Audio Fixes – Fixed multiple issues where music could stop playing or fail to trigger. Broken sound file references were cleaned up across the project.[/p]

Fixes & Optimization

  • [p]Technical Fixes – Fixed an issue where players could sometimes get stuck to platforms (this should help with the issue reported on PS5).[/p]
  • [p]Graphics Updates – Updated Xbox Series X|S icon textures and fixed lighting at the beginning of the Catacombs location.[/p]
  • [p]Performance Improvements – Optimized CPU usage (tick optimization), improved overall performance, and temporarily disabled the benchmark.[/p]
  • [p]Visual Effects (VFX) – Some legacy Cascade effects were migrated to the modern Niagara system, and several particle effects were updated.[/p]
