Hi there!

Here goes a tiny patch fixing a couple bugs and bringing minor quality of life changes.

[h2]I - QUALITY OF LIFE[/h2]
  • The Sanity bond effect can no longer cause Instability overflow, it’ll raise instability up to the maximum and stop there.
  • Ally summons can no longer push you through Unyielding. You can still push them through Unyielding.
  • Haunted patient transpositions have been made brighter.

[h2]II - BUG FIXES[/h2]
  • Fixed a potential soft-lock with summons using synapses with AP cost changing modifiers.
  • Fixed a potential soft-lock when certain enemies died over tile effects.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented target type keywords (allies, enemies, self, tile) from properly filtering the synapse inventory.

Hi there!

Here are the patch notes for today's patch, with a few minor quality of life improvements and bug fixes.

[h2]I - QUALITY OF LIFE[/h2]
  • You can now search for perk names & descriptions on the Mind tree.
  • Allied Thirst summons no longer spawn Haze.
  • Foul ground no longer benefits from Healing multiplier, which should dramatically reduce its healing output on legendary and enhanced enemies.
  • Added an instability warning on the skill preview when raycasting a skill that would damage Sanity bound entities.
  • Fuse/Alter again now shows proper cost values on the recipe.
  • Added a few missing glossary entries.
  • The Hematophagous effect no longer forces the next skill’s cost to be paid with HP if you don’t have enough HP.
  • You can now use “sublime” as a keyword when searching for equipment.
  • Uncommon item background gradient was made a little darker so color blind players have an easier time distinguishing them from Legendary items.

[h2]II - BUG FIXES[/h2]
  • Fixed a potential soft-lock caused by attaching healing reduction above 100% to enemies.
  • Fixed a potential soft-lock when enemies were killed while targeted by an ally summon's charged skill.
  • Fixed a potential soft-lock when enemies died on your summons’ tile effects while using the Inventiveness Mind tree perk.
  • Fixed a bug with the Exemplarity Mind tree perk that allowed allies to get identical buffs twice.
  • Fixed a bug with the Exemplarity Mind tree perk that prevented it from using synapse modifiers on aura buffs, and that caused allies summoned after the aura’s cast to get a smaller buff.
  • Fixed a bug with the Exemplarity Mind tree perk that allowed allies to get identical buffs twice.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Automatons & Totems to have double base hp and damage.
  • Fixed a few modifier enhance values that weren’t properly altering the original values.
  • Fixed a few display issues with modifier range values.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed you to quickly cast a skill for free while a Dark Secret was spawning.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented cleanse from removing Time bomb and Sticky bomb effects.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented allied doppels from playing.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented melee echo damage from the Spontaneity Mind tree perk from triggering the Cruel Tri-perpetuation synapse’s reset.
  • Fixed a bug that caused tile effect debuffs to remain forever after beating a Dark secret on them.
  • Fixed a bug that caused "+x range while Hasted" modifiers to always grants 1 range, regardless or roll.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Silent melody tile effects from applying Silence.
  • Fixed a few descriptions.

Hi there!

Here's the changelog for the second full release patch, containing fixes to multiple bugs you've reported and helped identify, along with a few minor quality of life improvements.

[h2]I - QUALITY OF LIFE[/h2]
  • Holding CTRL when inspecting a Synapse or Equipment item will now display the full list of available modifiers it can roll.
  • The synapse inventory search field will now take effect descriptions into account (rolled modifiers are still not looked up).
  • Efficiency synapse AP cost and Cooldown sort modes now also secondarily sort by the other resource (e.g AP cost sort will go 2/0 > 2/1 > 2/2 > 2/3 > 2/5).
  • Shop “default items” are now mentioned during the Shop tutorial.
  • “ENTER” can now be used to confirm shop popups. Keyboard confirms still don't work on popups outside the shop UI.
  • Chest unlock conditions/objectives now display for longer when entering a new room, so they’re harder to miss.
  • All coats can now roll the same set of modifiers (they often used to be limited to either offense or defense modifiers depending on the item).

[h2]II - BUG FIXES[/h2]
  • Fixed a bug that prevented fusion recipes from properly updating certain synapse parameters such as the number of effect slots.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed you to buy items without having enough currency when confirming with keyboard shortcuts.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented skills with HP or Instability cost from being used while at low AP.
  • Fixed a bug that caused Transmute with certain synapses & modifier combinations to fail and trigger a soft-lock.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the “Clearing x tile effects causes you to Swell” Gust modifier from working properly.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented Impulse damage modifiers from working on Eiris’ impulses.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented “-1 AP cost while at maximum AP” modifier from functioning while you had Overcharge.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented equipment from being sold from the Alter menu.
  • Fixed a few missing summon effect synapse icons.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented certain synapse modifiers from properly getting enhanced (there are still a few others with the same issue).
  • Fixed a bug that prevented lifesteal from triggering when hitting shields.
  • Fixed and adjusted multiple descriptions.
  • Added a few missing glossary entries.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed you to dash onto invisible entities with the “You can dash through entities” modifier, causing the entity to become buggy.
  • Reduced the abnormally long freeze that occurred when selling many items at once (there’s still a freeze depending on the count).
  • Fixed a bug that could lead the zoom level to become wrong on the hub after pressing ESC during the mind tree zoom animation.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the additional summon hp modifiers on equipment to yield lower-than-expected values.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the [ALT] modifier from functioning on synapse collections.
  • Added a safeguard for edge cases where enemies kept sticky tile effects (often due to being hit with a Push + Gust skill while standing on a tile effect). These ghost effects are now removed when the enemy’s turn starts.
  • Removed on-death Tearpool spread on Worthless and Waste enemies as a tentative fix to rare soft-locks with these enemies (we’re not sure it’s actually fixed as this one's particularly hard to reproduce).
  • Fixed a bug that caused Punch to ignore line of sight under certain conditions (if your Punch currently ignores line of sight, it might still do until you change it again).
  • Fixed a rare bug that could cause old saves to max out Enhance at level 3.
  • Fixed a misplaced on-hover tooltip.
  • Abdicated duty now inflicts Oppress, to circumvent possible edge cases with Hyper-empathy.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the “Enemies do not benefit” Flow modifier to prevent allies from using it too.

Following up on the 1.0 release yesterday, we are deploying a small patch to correct some of the issues you have reported. Thanks for your support!

[h2]I - BUG FIXES[/h2]
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the game from functioning properly if its save and settings files were tagged as Hidden on Windows.
  • Fixed a crash when spending hp to cast a skill while affected by a Sticky bomb.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the Resilience perk from working properly on Eiris.
  • Fixed a bug that caused impact damage from a Thorned entity to be lower than that from a non-Thorned entity.
  • Fixed a bug that caused event-spawned unique patients to stay even after the event was removed on early access saves.
  • Fixed a bug that caused skills with shriek to display an incorrect damage preview.
  • FIxed a bug that caused a sound effect from the Alter menu to stay even after the menu was closed.
  • Fixed a bug that caused you to be able to reroll Innar’s trades even at 0 Awareness.
  • Fixed bug that caused the “Limitless” toggle to stay active after resetting the simulation.
  • Added a few missing hover popups on stats such as Berserk power and Trance power.
  • Fixed a bug that caused very high enhance level enemies that self-destruct to be unable to do so.
  • Fixed display bug on Eiris’ stats at level 100.
  • Fixed a few wrong icons on menu tabs.
  • Fixed a few typos.

[h2]II - QUALITY OF LIFE[/h2]
  • Combat log entity and skill names are now trimmed when too long.
  • HP preview now remains even when you disable the Skill preview setting.

[h2]III - BALANCING[/h2]
  • Enemy healing multiplier increase with enhance level has been reduced.
