Minor Fixes & New Table Creator Features/Mechanics!

Main Game

[h2]Nasty Knights & Creepy Castle:[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where Devious Donna’s costume was not moving along with her model.
  • Adjusted some cauldron colors


[h2]Misc. & Bug Fixes:[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where the Golf Ball was not being rendered.


Table Creator:

[h2]Mechanics:[/h2]
[h3]Moveable Blockers:[/h3]
  • These come in 2 varieties (one straight and another cross shaped).
  • These are simple walls that will spin when hit.


[h3]Gems:[/h3]
  • Added to the visuals tab
  • Collectable gems that are sprinkled across the table
  • These function the same as the ones in regular tables except they will not award you with cosmetics upon collecting them all


[h2]Music & Sounds[/h2]
  • Devious Donna’s Theme Song has been added music menu
  • Dungeon Ambience Tracks have been added to the ambience menu


[h2]4 New Plunger Options:[/h2]
  • Manual & Auto Curve Back: These plungers have built in curves on the end that will curve the ball directly into the flippers after being launched.
  • Manual & Auto Open: These plungers are of the long variety but have an opening in the middle where the ball can return into the plunger lane.


[h2]Kickbacks:[/h2]
  • The Kickback menu has been redesigned: Previously they were buttons, but it has now been switched to toggles.
  • An option for a center kickback was also added.
  • If you had a table previously which used kickback, it may have lost its settings for kickback. Simply re-select it through this menu to correct the issue.


[h2]New Save File Location:[/h2]
  • I have moved the save file location to the Streaming Assets path folder.
  • Your old saves may appear to have disappeared from your machine but this is not the case, instead, you will need to locate the file and manually move them.
  • This was done because certain users were having issues loading/saving and overwriting the files in their previous location and this new location should resolve that issue.

General:

  • Fixed a rare bug where the ball would be loaded outside of it.


[h2]Misc:[/h2]
  • Reworked a large portion of the internal structure for trials/missions and table mechanics. This new version is a lot more efficient and should help the game’s performance.
  • Created a new suite of tools for myself that should help ease/expedite development of future mechanics and tables.

  • Fixed some typos relating to the Egg Hunt Missions

  • Fixed a bug with the rollover trial that made it unbeatable.

  • One Cauldron on each table has been recolored to add more visual diversity to the tables.
  • Added Orcs & Trolls as decorations/toys

TABLE EDITOR:


[h2]Table Physics:[/h2]
  • You can now change Play-field physics and border physics materials.
  • This is done through the special settings tab.
  • The default physics types are as follows: Play-field = Plateau, Borders = Medium Bounce.
  • SPECIAL NOTE: When loading an old table, they will not have any material assigned to them, you will need to manually assign them. All new tables will have default settings attached to them though.

  • Ice, Grip & Plateau have been added to the material physics drop-down.
  • These are selectable for both the table itself as well as game mechanics.


[h2]Custom Text Object:[/h2]
  • Place your own text on the play field.
  • Added to the Visuals tab.


[h2]Rabbit Runners:

  • You can now adjust the distance at which the rabbit runners run.
  • This is the rabbit that runs between two bushes*

  • The following themes have been adjusted:
  • Easter, Japan, Circus, Construction, Egypt, Forest Alternate 1 & 2, Japan Wide, Pirates & Pirates Wide

  • Removed the restrictions on the camera’s movement, allowing you to now position it wherever you like.
  • Redesigned visuals tab
  • Extended side & frontal borders for object placement, allowing for more freedom
  • Reworked how objects are loaded into the system, thus making the initial load time faster than before.
  • Fixed bug with wide flippers tab not updating correctly
  • Fixed an issue where some GUI elements were drawn on the wrong layers

Story Mode

Table Creator - Physics + Audio Editors & Test Balls!

Misc. & Bug Fixes:
  • Fixed a bug where Edgy Eddy was not properly being unlocked when playing Birthday Bonanza.
  • Clever Girl Achievement - Reworked the achievement to make it only require characters from the base game, making it easier to unlock.
  • Fixed an issue where certain plungers used the wrong audio mixer.

  • You can now change and modify the sound effects of various mechanics in the object editor.
  • The following Mechanics can be modified:
  • Bumpers, Rollovers, Targets, Slingshots, Holes, Flashing Targets, Drop Targets, Steering Wheels, Spinning Targets.

[h3]Constant Flipper[/h3]
  • This object will constantly move in circles. It can be modified to great extents.



[h3]Spinning Drop Targets[/h3]
  • A Drop target that will constantly spin in circles.


[h2]Misc/Bug Fixes:[/h2]
  • Added the missing UI Icons for flippers.
  • Bumpers & Slingshots can now have flashing LEDs.
  • Pressing X while in one delete mode now switches to the other.
  • The loading screen is now slightly more accurate.
  • Rotation Speed now corrected to display Y-Rotation in the object editor
  • Fixed a bug where generating a new table wouldn’t erase the currently saved music.
  • Fixed a bug where if the ball left a hole and went over a new one too quickly, it would not enter the second one.
