We’ve released a new update for Plague Lords: Witch Hunt, featuring a fully reworked tutorial and the addition of multiple save slots.

  • We’ve created a new, more compact and clear tutorial.
  • Throughout the game, you’ll now see small notes and on-screen pointers to help you better understand mechanics and actions.
  • The old detailed tutorial messages are still available in the journal if you need them.

[h3]💾 Multi-Save Support[/h3]
  • You can now create multiple save slots — start new runs without losing your previous progress.
  • Reduced the risk of progress loss due to errors or incorrect game exits.

We’ve released a new patch for Plague Lords: Witch Hunt focused on improving the interface, enhancing usability, and fixing several issues.
Thank you to everyone sharing feedback — it helps us grow the game and make it better with every update!

[h3]🔧 What’s New:[/h3]

  • ✅ Added an icon and warning indicating that items left on the ground will decay and disappear over time.
  • ✅ Several interface icons have been replaced with more context-appropriate versions.
  • ✅ Added a panel that displays the number of items in the party stash.
  • ✅ Current and maximum stash capacity is now also shown in the tooltip.
  • ✅ Added tooltip descriptions for certain items (battle banners, portable fortifications).
  • ✅ Simplified starting party inventory — removed water and excess items.
  • ✅ Characters now have lines indicating when the party is overloaded.
  • ✅ Overload messages and icons are now larger and stay on screen longer.
  • ✅ Fixed the order of tutorial chapters.
  • ✅ Added a list of key characters to quest descriptions.
  • ✅ Fixed an issue that could cause battles to end incorrectly.
  • ✅ Fixed a bug where infected enemies would not appear after an incorrect battle end.

We will continue improving Witch Hunt — upcoming patches will be less frequent, but larger in scope.

Patch #4 — Fixes and Improvements

We’ve released a new patch for Plague Lords: Witch Hunt, focused on improving mercenaries behavior, auto-equipping, and fixing several issues.

[h3]🔧 What’s New:[/h3]
  • ✅ Reworked and fixed the party auto-equipping system.
  • ✅ Archers who run out of arrows at the start of combat will now draw knives or axes and move to the front line.
  • ✅ Fixed an issue where shields could be unequipped accidentally before battle.
  • ✅ Archers no longer equip bows if there are no arrows in the party’s inventory — they now use tools if no free weapons are available.
  • ✅ Fixed a bug that caused some non-food ingredients to become infinite.
  • ✅ Fixed an issue in the finale where Conrad would not give the order to retreat to the tower after several allies were killed.
  • ✅ The “Transfer All Resources” button during party exchange now correctly transfers all items, including crafting materials.
  • ✅ The “Transfer All Food” button now also transfers ingredients.
  • ✅ Fixed visual glitches in the final scene.
  • ✅ Removed outdated information from the tooltip when hovering over the shield/inventory area.

We’ll keep improving the mechanics and addressing known issues.

Patch #3 - Fixes and Interface Improvements

We’ve released a new patch for Plague Lords: Witch Hunt focused on fixing several issues and improving the user interface.
Thank you to everyone who’s been sharing feedback — it helps us track down and resolve problems faster.

[h3]🔧 What’s New:[/h3]

  • ✅ Fixed a freeze that could occur if infected enemies attacked and died during their first strike.
  • ✅ Fixed an issue where fences could disappear during enemy attacks.
  • ✅ Updated the overload icon across all interfaces.
  • ✅ Fixed the overload tooltip when hovering over the shield/inventory area (top-right corner).
  • ✅ Updated the quest description “Search the Farm” to the more accurate “Search the Houses on the Farm.”
  • ✅ Some quest locations are now marked on the map.
  • ✅ Main quest title is now highlighted in color, and its UI block has been enlarged for better visibility.
  • ✅ Adjustments and corrections to tutorial text.


We’re continuing to work on future updates and improvements.

Patch #2 — Debug and Balance Update

Hello everyone,
We’ve released the second patch for Plague Lords: Witch Hunt focusing on bug fixes and gameplay balance improvements.

Here’s what’s been updated:
  • ✅ Energy is no longer consumed when moving.
  • ✅ Reduced energy penalty when the party is overburdened.
  • ✅ Decreased intensity of infected enemies before the bell signal.
  • ✅ Fixed UI issue where the panel could go off-screen at the start of the game.
  • ✅ Fixed bug causing characters to start with low health.
  • ✅ Fixed issue preventing quest completion when only one building is placed on the farm.
  • ✅ Fixed mismatched building names between the quest text and construction menu.
  • ✅ Replaced confusing dialogue lines when trying to enter the tower.
  • ✅ Fixed visual glitch with trees in the forest.
  • ✅ Localization fixes and improvements.

We’re already working on the remaining known issues — new patches will be released soon.
