🛠️ [Update Notice] – Steam Deck Compatibility & New Chapter Content
Hello, this is the Slayer development team!
In this update, we’ve improved Steam Deck compatibility and added exciting new chapter mechanics. Please see the full patch notes below.

✅ Steam Deck Improvements
We’ve officially verified device behavior for Steam Deck and adjusted the tutorial intro to display as an image (instead of video) to resolve playback issues.

Adjusted visual compatibility to ensure images render properly on Steam Deck models.

🕹️ New Chapter Content
Added a new spider web trap mechanic in Chapter 1.

Introduced a rotating statue puzzle that players must escape from in Chapter 2.

⚙️ New Tutorial Skip Feature
Players can now skip the tutorial from the main settings menu and during mode selection.

Tutorial skip is only available when starting from a new slot.

🛠️ [Update Notice] – Save Fix & Combat System Tweaks

🛠️ [Update Notice] – Save Fix & Combat System Tweaks
Hello, this is the Slayer development team!

This update addresses a save issue and includes several improvements to the tutorial and stamina mechanics.

✅ Patch Highlights
Fixed a bug that prevented saving in the previous update.

Removed the tutorial skip feature temporarily as it is being redesigned.

When holding a torch, stamina consumption while moving is now reduced by half.

Added detailed explanations of parry and torch mechanics in the tutorial.

Removed stamina loss on attack, as it caused players to stand still during recovery, leading to overly static gameplay.

We’ll keep working to improve Slayer and make it more enjoyable.
Thanks for playing!
