Patch #9 (Lord Titles Increased to 6, Bug Fixes)

While the new Lesser Lords system, which we've been discussing with the community, will be in intensive testing for a few more days (we need to be cautious with such significant changes to avoid breaking anything), in this patch, we are increasing the number of title slots to six.

At the same time, we continue to work on fixing bugs, crashes, and balance issues.
Balance - Lord Titles Cap Increase
• The number of possible titles has been increased to 6.
Improvements
• In "King's View" mode, the timer until the end of building inspections will be more noticeable.
Fixes
• Fixed a bug where the population influx to the player's city was halved.
 • Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash after destroying an enemy squad or losing your squad in battle.
 • Fixed a bug where AI squads attacking the player could stop receiving new orders after capturing someone.
 • Fixed a bug where characters taken prisoner in battle could remain immobilized after being freed.
 • Fixed a bug that caused the game to stop saving after the player's king participated in a battle before their coronation.

We're doing our best to go through all your messages and reviews (there are a lot, but we're not giving up), so you know what to do!
Patch #8 (Inspection Improvement, Bug Fixes, New Modifier)
Today, we have the long-awaited update to the inspection mechanics.
Buildings will no longer come to a complete halt when supervision ends. Instead, unsupervised peasants will begin to slack off, reducing their productivity by 50% on Peaceful and Normal difficulty levels and by 80% on Hardcore. This change should make it easier for new players to start, while experienced players likely won't notice a difference.

We've added a "Lazy Workers" modifier for those who prefer the old way of playing.
New Additions
• New building inspection mechanics. An overdue building inspection does not entirely stop production but sharply reduces its efficiency.
 • The new game modifier "Lazy Workers" restores the mechanics of the previous complete production stoppage due to an overdue inspection.
Bug Fixes
• Fixed a bug where the "Monogamist" trait prevented making love with peasants even if the lord with this trait had no partner.
 • Fixed a bug where uniting the Empire through the city alliance did not allow declaring oneself Emperor.
 • Fixed a bug where messengers returning to the local map were not hired for work.
 • Fixed a bug where children were considered when calculating the amount of alcohol and nectar that servants should bring to the hall.
 • Fixed a bug where an extra servant could be hired for the hall.
Improvements
• Hall servants will no longer be hired as messengers to avoid endangering your lords with starvation.
 • Immobilized residents will not be considered able-bodied when calculating migration. This should increase the migration influx in the player's city, facing severe hunger.
 • Children will eat meat as a last resort. If more straightforward food is available in storage, servants will not bring meat to the hall for children.
Community Feedback

Thank you very much for your reviews and feedback, which helps us improve the game continually. We appreciate your support and hope you enjoy these updates! More exciting changes are on the way!
Patch #7 (balance, bug fixes)

Today's patch focuses on balance. For instance, severe disasters related to crop failures will no longer occur consecutively. Additionally, based on feedback from experienced players, we've reverted the performance level on the hardcore difficulty back to its previous state. Peaceful players will also find the game a bit easier.
Balance
• After the player annexes a neighbor (alliance or vassalage), enemies will not attack that neighbor for at least 3 days.
 • Until day 15, AI neighbors will purchase simpler products that you can easily produce.
 • Incoming free lords will have a management skill of 7-10.
 • The duration of blighted crops in the fields has been reduced.
 • The prophecy "Wheat Destruction" will not appear for at least 7 days after a rat infestation and the death of all crops.
 • The prophecies "Rat Infestation" and "Field Diseases" can no longer occur consecutively.
 • On hardcore difficulty, the fertility of rye and rutabaga is now lower (as it was before one of the patches).
 • On hardcore difficulty, the amount of wood in one tree is now lower (as it was before one of the patches).
 • Different strength levels for Horde fighters on different difficulties.
 • On peaceful difficulty, villages give an additional 250 coins along with tribute.
Stability
• Fixed a bug where prophecies could stop appearing in the late stages of the game in rare cases.
 • Fixed a bug that led to the character menu being cleared.
 • Fixed a crash when starting a battle on the global map if one of the squads could not be created (for example, if all members of the squad were immobilized).

Stay tuned; the patches will get more exciting soon! And we look forward to your feedback in reviews and comments!
Patch #6 (encyclopedia, monogamy, bug fixes)

Today's patch will make using the game encyclopedia more comfortable and will also restore the true meaning of the word "monogamy." Fixing unpleasant bugs is also included.

After loading the game, some encyclopedia entries will reopen – we apologize for this!
Balance
• The starting gold amount for peaceful difficulty has been increased to 4000.
Fixes
• The "Monogamous" trait now prevents the character from cheating on their partner.
 • A woman cannot receive the "Menopause" trait while pregnant.
 • Pinned articles will automatically unpin if there are more than 12 of them or if 5 in-game days have passed.
Stability
• Fixed a potential crash when attempting to start a new game.
 • Fixed a bug where the quest to marry a man on the global map did not work, and the sent woman got lost.
 • Fixed a bug where a lord continued to be considered a guest in the city where they are located after switching their faction to the city's faction.
 • Fixed a bug where a hint could remain stuck on the screen.

While titles and new inspections are cooking, don't put off your review and feedback until tomorrow. We read them before bed!
