Closed Beta: Update #16

[h3]ADDED:[/h3]
● (Weapon) Browning M1919A6 for the USA for the machine gunner class for fall 1943 and onwards.
● (In game) When a side in battle is out of reserves and completed destroyed on the battlefield, the game will end right away and the other team will win.
● (In game) Possibility to use certain static weapons while proning (Browning M1919A4, Maxim, DshK etc).
● (In game) Possibility to use keyboard arrows to move the gun + turret in first person with tanks.
● (Campaign) Possibility to split armies. In order to do so, you will need to show the content of a selected army, then, you can click on all units you want to

● (In game) Smoothed out the movement of guns/turrets when trying to aim a little to the side or up/down. It used to be 'cut' before. I am not smoothing the change in the rotation for small changes in rotation.
● (Campaign) Oil consumption by planes has been increased significantly.
● (Campaign) Oil consumption has been split between tanks and armoured cars, armoured cars needing less oil than regular tanks.
● (Campaign) Oil consumption per unit now also gets a modifier based on the unit's real life weight.

● (In game) Potentially fixed collision with ghost trees.
● (Campaign) Enemy armies were not uncovered when Fog Of War was removed after a friendly unit was deployed on the map. Only the bullseye would show.
● (Campaign) Rough terrain and mixed armies (planes + ground units) and oil consumption.
● (Campaign) Oil cost to move into tile could show a lot of decimals... Too many... (capped to 2 now).
● (In game) Very rare instance of buildables being red (meaning cannot be built) when trying to build it over 2 overlapping terrain.
● (In game) Casings position on PM1910 static MG.
● (In game) Trying to build a Nebelwerfer 41 would send you up in the sky.
● (In game) DshK casing ejection rotation.
● (In game) SG-43 static weapon various issues.

Closed Beta: Update #15

[h3]ADDED:[/h3]
● (Campaign) Possibility to rename armies.
● (Campaign) Possibility to see any army content (shortcut 'i' on your keyboard to automatically show/hide army content).
● (Model) Browning M1919A4 as static machine gun for the USA. The handheld version (M1919A6) will come soon for US machine gunners.

● (In game) even if a category of units is completely exhausted, you will still be able to click on that category.
● (In game) armoured cars category icon.

[h3]FIXED:[/h3]
● Steam status not being set at all (I tried something new in the previous update but seems it's not working).
● (In game) Spawn UI issues with categories and units themselves + the way everything was refreshed.
It is now way lighter and less intrusive.
● Staghound Mk. III had several issues when played in first person.

Closed Beta: Update #14

Monday, new week, new patch!


[h3]ADDED:[/h3]
● (Campaign) Exact amount of units of each type in army overview (Thanks @Apocalypse for the suggestion).
● (Host menu) Capped online games player count to 64.
● M3 Stuart light tank to UK (currently using the M5 model as a placeholder).
● First test of adding the 'Join Game' button in the Steam overlay. It should not do anything yet, but the button should appear.
● Interpolation on projectiles. Should look better (bullets and how they fly).

[h3]CHANGED:[/h3]
● (Normandie Fields) Fog setup. Smoother map edge. Kept visibility for planes.
● (Host panel) Moved the 'Armoured cars' quantity one level up to meet the other standards as shown in the game (order of unit strength).
● Changed infantry icon on the units categories in the game UI.
● In the game UI, categories of units that are not available will be greyed out.
● M4 Sherman availability date has been changed to July 1942.
● Changed the way the steam status is set for rich presence.

● (Host panel) Typo for 'Armoured cars' that should have been plural.
● Artillery or other guns (static) would behave like flak weapons.
● Fixed all 'Open on Steam' links in all changelogs.
● Sd. Kfz. 234-2 gunner seat had no sight.
● M5 Stuart had wrong production date.

Sunday's update!


[h3]ADDED:[/h3]
● Possibility to take off or install scope on snipers.
● New keybind for toggling the scope on snipers.

[h3]CHANGED:[/h3]
● Killfeed background slight change in style.
● Bombs and rockets will no longer explodes on trees / branches. They will have to reach the ground to explode (would be weird to have explosions + GFX up in trees).
● New default year for hosting scenarios is now 1944 instead of 1941.

[h3]FIXED:[/h3]
● Changing the number of max real voices in the settings no longer cut the main menu music, it will now properly resume.
● Changing the number of max real voices in the settings will now properly re apply sound settings.
● Double ':' typo in Armament in Encyclopedia.
● One of the wheels of the T-70 had the wrong camouflage applied.
● (UI) Small issue with the end of game window.
● Ju 87 D-5 had its one of its loadouts wrongly set up.
● British Vickers MG did not have any icon in the killfeed.
● 'Dancing trees' behaviour with trees when they are destroyed with explosions.
● Physics and trees in general.

● Ladder mechanics. We have a watchtower model ready and it needed a whole new 'ladder climbing' mechanics. This has now been fully implemented! Yay!
● Sound effect when building something with engineers (Thanks again @Apocalypse for the SFX).

[h3]CHANGED:[/h3]
● Changed default keybind for the rifle grenade to be 'O' instead of 'Alt' for consistency with vehicles keybinds where ammo change is 'O' as well.
● (Infantry) When using a parachute, you no longer have access to your weapons.
● (Infantry) Parachutes now take 2 times longer to open.

[h3]FIXED:[/h3]
● Smoke effect affected by light in weird ways.
● AI behaviour with parachutes.
● AI stopping spawning on 'Paratroopers Attack'.
● You could pilot transport planes in 'Paratroopers Attack' gamemode.
● Tanks physics with terrain when going up or down. They will no longer move on the sides.
