The month of the sword behind us....

[h2]Introduction[/h2]
Throughout September, every day I created and showed (on Twitter) a new weapon based on a previously prepared keyword. Here I would like to show some of the cool effects I created during this time!

[h2]This sword belongs to...[/h2]
The words this year represented the owner of the weapon. I won't hide the fact that I had a lot of trouble with names that are already in the game e.g. The Witch is in the game and has a weapon so coming up with another weapon with a similar effect for her was quite a challenge. In the end, thanks to this challenge, the pool of interesting items in the game has increased significantly, making each approach even more interesting!



[h2]In-game action[/h2]
Here are what weapons were created during this time:
  • 5 daggers
  • 9 heavy swords
  • 1 spear
  • 11 swords
  • 4 katanas
  • 1 axe

[h3]Day 5: Spymaster[/h3]
An axe that causes invisibility if the player starts charging a strong attack. A weapon ideal for dealing massive damage in one hit and very good for stealing items from the store.

[h3]Day 11: Queen[/h3]
The second weapon that is not a sword, the Queen's spear. It generates gold every 5 strikes. A very powerful effect that will definitely not collapse the economy in the game!

[h3]Day 18: Bard[/h3]
A heavy sword with a very simple effect, the last attack in the combination of blows is enhanced.

[h3]Day 21: Mermaid[/h3]
A katana that has powerful pushback, but only if the player is in the middle of a bunnyhop.
This weapon has powerful damage only on opponents without repulsion reduction.

[h2]Summary[/h2]
Of course, there are many more weapons that I could show here, but I prefer to leave it for you to discover because the Early Access of the game is approaching fast. I still plan to publish some Steam devlogs before the release and if you want to follow the progress of the production in real time, feel free to twitter!

Devlog #1 - Magical Forest

[h2]Introduction[/h2]
Magic forest which is theoretically the most difficult floor in the whole game. The forest where the eternal battle between magical creatures and barbarians takes place

[h2]Opponents[/h2]
Unlike the previous floors, some of the opponents of the forest have a human form and therefore think a little harder and are able to use magical flowers to move, are able to mate when fighting the player, of course they also have emotions and some can give up!

For example, Druid Healer - stays out of combat and strengthens allies from afar. If there is no longer anyone to strengthen then she gives up and does not continue fighting.

Besides humans, the second largest population is the slime! Only they are not the usual slimy green slime, each represents a different element and behaves differently fire slime likes to explode itself, electric create several smaller slime, and stone hardens and tries to ram the player



The last group in the magic forest are the barbarians - they have simple but extremely powerful attacks. Their special ability is that each can strengthen all other opponents (increase health and damage inflicted)

I won't mention the final opponent of this floor, it will be a surprise!

[h2]Magical plants[/h2]
Under the influence of magic, the land in the forest area began to give birth to very suspicious plants,
Which can be used during combat to your advantage.
Currently, 3 different plants can be found in the game:
  • Exploding tuber - when hit, it explodes.
  • Natural trampoline - bounces in a defined direction.
  • Soul bells - explodes, does not deal damage but causes temporary invisibility




[h2]Special Rooms[/h2]
Jester time challenge
For passing the challenge, the player gets a random rare ability, you just need to enter the room before a few minutes (in the game it will be a specified number, and knowing me I will change it 4 more times)

Challenging a monk
After defeating the arena in a certain room, a portal to the monk's endurance challenge will open.
The challenge will require the player to quickly pass the duel and terrain obstacles.



[h2]What's next[/h2]
As something, the project is doing well and is developed so actually every day. I'd like to share the progress with you so I'm going to start running more such Devlogs here on Steam. In the Devlogs I will show what I am currently working on, so everything you see here can only get better!

Demo Dummy Dungeon

[h2]What will the game demo include?[/h2]
  • 4 playable characters - each with a unique playstyle
  • 14 different perks
  • 12 weapons (+4 starting character weapons)
  • First floor with a boss fight and optional tutorial


[h2]Characters[/h2]
[h3]Hobo[/h3]
Throwing and drinking potions.
Once per room cast a potion that can: create a positive aura, buff, weaken an enemy or explode, the farther the thrown potion flies, the better it works!
Drinking the potion takes away his health and give a permanent random stat



[h3]Ninja[/h3]
Deals a lot of damage with dash and skill.
For each enemy you defeat, you receive a shuriken up to three(3) maximum, enemies hit with a shuriken receive 50% more damage from all sources of damage.
Dash also deals damage and has a very low cooldown.
Despite its high damage, it is one of the most difficult character in the demo (due to his very low health and his overall difficulty).



[h3]Gladiator[/h3]
Taking advantage of poor health.
The less health he has, the more damage he deals.
He has a shield that can absorb damage but is not indestructible.
When destroyed, it must renew itself but the gladiator gets a boost to attack speed for a few seconds.



[h3]Villager[/h3]
Balanced gameplay and great luck.
Every 3 rooms he can eat a sandwich and regain some health!
So called class, what more can be said about him.... He is a well balanced character with great luck. A very solid character for any playstyle.



[h2]Special Rooms[/h2]
[h3]The bard's challenge[/h3]
A bard needs help tuning his instrument. Go down to the altar and start the duel.
This is one of the more difficult challenges in this version of the game. In the full version of the game after passing the challenge the bard joins the cast of playable characters, but in this version this is disabled.



[h3]Miscellaneous store[/h3]
Weapons and potions are available for purchase in the store. In this version of the game, the pool of items is heavily reduced to meet all available weapons and potions within a few approaches.



[h3]Treasure room[/h3]
There is no combat in this room, there are free chests and a suspicious-looking flap to the underworld.
In the demo the flap cannot be opened, in the full version of the game it leads to one of three alternative floors.



[h2]Summary[/h2]
The demo will be available for the duration of the festival and later disabled!
About perks and weapons I will not elaborate because there are simply too many of them. If what you see here arouses your curiosity try out our demo and see for yourself how it all plays out!
A lot of things are being changed and the game is looking better and better every week, but playing the demo will be the perfect opportunity to check out the fundamental gameplay.

We don't want to release the game in a hurry, and we're very keen on showing the gameplay because, after all, that's what was missing from the store page for a long time
