In-battle Party Evolutions + LVLUP Messages and Several Improvements

[p]Hi guys, we've gotten a lot of feedback in recent reviews, so I decided to take the time to address the most important / most requested items. Here's the full changelog:[/p]
  • [p]Drastically improved the "Battle Toggle" menu option. It just stays on permanently now[/p]
  • [p]Added in-battle Evolutions for non-battling monsters in your party[/p]
  • [p]Added "leveled up!" messages for non-battling monsters in your party[/p]
  • [p]Made "currently hovering" monster cursor more visible for Party Monsters menu screen[/p]
  • [p]Drastically reduced input delay on character movement and instead added short collision to your follower[/p]
  • [p]Removed some logs to now make unlocking "log removal" 100% completely optional (do it after beating the game if you want)[/p]
  • [p]Nerfed some moves that people were complaining were too OP / made the game too easy[/p]
  • [p]Removed a keyboard shortcut which mutes the game that people seemed to often accidentally press which resulted in them thinking the game's sound was broken[/p]
  • [p]Fixed some broken battle messages and NPC messages (or made clarifications to avoid confusion)[/p]
  • [p]Made it so that "NO" is ALWAYS the default yes/no option (now even when fishing ...)[/p]
  • [p]Slightly improved the graphics or UIX of some menu's [/p]
  • [p]Fixed some typo's in the English script[/p]
[p][/p][p]The biggest changes here are the drastic improvements to the Battle Speed Toggle, and the addition of in-battle evolutions for monsters that aren't currently in-battle (there is no animation for them).[/p][p][/p][p]*Lots of people have seemed to miss an item needed to clear logs. To combat this, I made clearing logs completely 100% optional, so if you like, you can now beat the game without unlocking this, and just never do it, or perhaps do it after unlocking Flight for example.[/p][p][/p][p]Lots of people seemed to really dislike the slight movement delay. Without the delay, it would be impossible to turn your character without actually moving in that direction, which is needed for talking to your follower. In this update, I drastically reduced that "turn but don't move window", however, added a short collision when trying to collide with your follower, making it so you instead face them, so that it's still possible to talk to them (your monster or a following human character).[/p][p][/p][p]I also added "blabla leveled up" for your party monsters (I intentionally didn't add it originally, as I thought it would crowd the battle messages too much, drag battles out more, and become annoying, but too many people complained about this, so I put it in ~).[/p][p][/p][p]There was a ton of other small changes too that I'm probably forgetting, but the bullet list above includes the majority of the changes.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]If I was able to fix any of the things that annoyed you, please consider updating your review, or giving the game a review if you haven't already !!![/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink]If you've been enjoying the game, or want to see more games in the Dokimon series, leaving a review is the best way to help us get seen by other gamers and support us to help make new Dokimon games more possible! ♡
[/p][p]
As always, please continue to leave your feedback, or report anything you wish to. We will considering your requests, either for updates, or future titles :)

Cheers!

Added New Clothes ー Bunny Girl + All Player Char Outfits; Alt-region Worldmap

[p]Hi guys! This is the last of the stuff I wanted to add in that I didn't have time to last time :D

Here's the patch notes:
- Added: 2 Bunny Girl Outfits for Purchase. Find them at your local casino!
- Added: All 9 Playable Character "Outfits". Find them in the alt region in the post story![/p][p][/p][p]We also added a new map to the alt region, so it should be a bit easier to navigate now, check it out![/p][p][/p][p]Along with this also enabled a setting that lets you toggle the XP Orbs on and off. To turn them off (or back on) simply hover over them in your quest items in inventory and "select" them. If they're off, a big X will draw over the item sprite, so it's pretty hard to miss if you have them off![/p][p][/p][p]That's all for now! Hope you guys had some happy holidays and enjoy the last few days of your year :D[/p][p]
[/p][p]p.s. We're just 8 reviews away from breaking 250 :o if you enjoyed Dokimon: Quest (or enjoyed the free updates), like for example this one that added bunny girl costumes ;) I'd really love it if you reviewed the game!

You can review the game from the main store page if you're interested ♡

Steep Sale + NEW Gamemodes: Perma-death, 6 Mon Cap, Difficulty Slider

[p]Hey guys! This will be super short since I'm kind of sick and technically shouldn't even be working now D: (oh no!), but I have a pretty exciting update for you guys today! Lets get into it:

First of all, the game is on a super steep sale @ 75% off. Please help spread the word by telling your friends and family![/p][p][/p][p]We also added these new game modes, which you can select on new save creation:[/p]
  • [p]Monsters perma-death: Monsters die permanently when fainting in battle.[/p]
  • [p]6 Monsters cap: You can only have 6 monsters + 1 extra slot in your PC[/p]
  • [p]Difficulty slider: Now, when creating a save you can choose between easy, normal, hard[/p]
[p][/p][p]Quick explanation on each of these new updates:[/p]
  • [p]Perma-death: it's as it sounds. But if the last monster you own dies, your save is toast, and your house will forever be haunted by crows... make sure to stock up on lots of monsters![/p]
  • [p]6 Monsters cap: You can only have 6 monsters (technically 7). All monsters you retrieve WILL go into your PC, however, upon closing your PC, every monster in the X'd out slots will be deleted.[/p]
  • [p]Difficulty slider: All Dokimon saves are currently based on "Easy". Start a new save to give Normal or Hard a try! You'll find that normal has more baseline level curves and smarter enemy Ai, while Hard is similar, but slightly more grindy, difficult, and... fun![/p]
[p][/p][p]Along with these additions, we also added scale-able income (by badge count) to assist with the late game expensive items, as well as several other minor improvements that were asked for extensively from the community. Considering my current condition, the only of these I can remember now is that full odds "unique" palette monsters get a super special star, whereas morph toxic'd monsters get a separate star~[/p][p][/p][p]Unfortunately there was a solid few more things I wanted to add to this update which I wasn't able to fit in due to getting sick, which I will add in after I'm feeling better (hopefully before Christmas!)

That's all for this time around guys~ Let me know if you're happy with these new additions and if you have any more requests! p.s. did you know? This game released to Switch recently... whoohoo!!

Hey! Yano here. I'm a solo dev and do my best to fix any issues you guys run into and give this game lots of new life via free content updates, alongside other improvements and additions. If you enjoyed this game, please give it a review!

We're suuuuuper close to 250 reviews, and I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts! Cheers ♡
