Wizard Island DLC is out now!

  • [p]Explore Asteria, a self-contained sandbox island with its own research and production chains.[/p]
  • [p]Befriend 5 wizards – earn their trust, level them up, and unlock stronger spells and passive bonuses.[/p]
  • [p]Cast 20 different spells to buff settlers, buildings, and animals; boost productivity, regen, drop rates, and more.[/p]
  • [p]Invest in 6 passive abilities to power up your magical economy over the long term.[/p]
  • [p]Build 10 new buildings: Mana Shrooms, Mega Mana Shrooms, Mana Extractor, Mana Converter, Mega Mana Converter, Mana Storage, Mana Crystal, Mana Pillar, plus the cozy Stone Lantern and a very Mysterious Statue.[/p]

  • [p]New things to chase once your settlement is already strong[/p]
  • [p]Extra ways to get benefits as you progress that add extra replayability[/p]
  • [p]And yes - the player traits you see at the start of the game will get a revamp and actually give benefits.[/p]
[p]I’ll share more details as we get closer, but I wanted you to know that Havendock is still very much alive in my head (and my messy design docs)~[/p][h3][/h3][p]In the meantime, Wizard Island is the first DLC I’ve ever released, so in many ways it’s been an experiment for me: learning how to scope it, price it, and make sure it still feels true to Havendock’s vibe.[/p][p]It's also a little different from the rest as I wanted to try something new and experiment with fresh ideas.[/p][p]I’m honestly a bit anxious to see what you all think, but also really excited. I hope Wizard Island feels like a fun, cozy extension of the world you already know. Wizard Island DLC sails in on December 4 ✨

It's a magical detour beyond the edge of the map that you know. You can add it to your wishlist already 🧙 [/p][p][/p][p][dynamiclink][/dynamiclink][/p][p]Sail to Asteria, a mysterious isle where wizards experiment with Mana法力 and everyday chores become enchanted! Befriend mages, brew Mana, cast spells, and slowly build an arcane outpost that supports your whole settlement.[/p][p][/p][h2]What’s Included[/h2]
  • [p]New island: Asteria - a self-contained sandbox with its own research and production chains.[/p]
  • [p]Befriend 5 wizards - earn their trust, level them up, and unlock stronger spells and passives.[/p]

Or you can just... make it rain ducks~ [/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h2]What's Next[/h2][p]This isn’t the end for Havendock![/p][p]I still have another free update lined up for the base game, which includes the New Game Plus update with plenty of new player traits to experiment with.[/p][p][/p][h2]FAQ[/h2][p]Q1: Are the changes purely visual?[/p][p]No, the DLC contains new content in the form of a new island. It contains new buildings, resources and a few new research in the workshop. It even unlocks new equipment in the Forge. [/p][p][/p][p]Q2: Is it only for Windows?[/p][p]No, the DLC follows the same platforms as the base game. If you can play the base game, you will be able to unlock this content with the DLC. [/p][p][/p][h2]Thank you![/h2][p]Thanks for sticking with Havendock and giving me the courage to try something new. It's the first time I'll be releasing a DLC. v1.3.1: Pizza & Vampires 🍕🧛

[h3]Hey, Settlers![/h3][p][/p][p]It’s spooky season, so here’s a fun (and a little creepy) Havendock update to sink your fangs into:[/p][p][/p][h2]Pizza & Vampires 🍕🧛[/h2][p][/p][h3]New food: Pizza[/h3][p]You can now make and eat pizza. [/p][p][/p][p]But… wait. What’s the catch? Settlers who eat pizza temporarily transform into Vampires or Ghouls and gain a Trait![/p][p][/p][h3]New equipment: Pizza Necklace?[/h3][p][/p][p]In future, a new equipment, the Pizza Necklace, will also be able to be forged. It unsurprisingly gives you a high amount of cooking stat. This equipment requires an ingredient from Wizard Island so it will be released with it.[/p][p]
Have fun experimenting with your freshly “turned” settlers and their late-night cravings![/p][p]I also want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween![/p][p][/p][h3]Slime Pudding changes[/h3][p][/p][p]In a review, a player commented that slime pudding was tedious to collect, and I understand that not everyone enjoys hunting for its ingredients in the cave, so I have reduced the quantity required to craft it from 10 to 2 slimes. I hope this makes the game more enjoyable.[/p][p][/p][h2]Who will help this smol turtle 🐢[/h2][p][/p][p]I’m also cooking up something cozy on the side: an idle-incremental-roguelike-RPG Siegeturtle, an idea born from my love of turtles. v1.3.0 Experimental - Pizza vampires

[h3]Hey settlers![/h3][p][/p][p]Pizza Vampires have been released in the experimental branch! It will be released in the main branch later this week around Thursday.[/p][p][/p][p]This was a whacky idea suggested by JackyDOS.[/p][p]It was pretty silly, and I thought it would be great for the Halloween Update![/p][p][/p][h2]New food: Pizza! 🍕[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]You will be able to cook a new type of food: Pizza![/p][p][/p][h2]...and Pizza Vampires? 🧛[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]But there is just something a little suspicious about these pizza... they seem to transform your settlers in a way normal food does not.[/p][p][/p][h2]Pizza Necklace?[/h2][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]In future, a new equipment, the Pizza Necklace, will also be able to be forged. It unsurprisingly gives you a high amount of cooking stat. This equipment requires an ingredient from Wizard Island so it will be released with it.[/p][p][/p][p]I have also fixed a bug reported regarding to a leaked questline related to Wizard island being made prematurely visible.
