0.3.3 Hotfix #9

  • Significantly improved scrolling smoothness on high-end 144hz+ setups. Just got a new rig and immediately saw what was so painful here! Apologies for those who suffered through that!
  • Fixed all unique modifier tags. If something didn't make sense with the Sacrifice Altar before, try it again!
  • Substantially improved the performance of pop-up damage numbers
  • Substantially improved the performance of buffs
  • Reduced the memory cost of using minions with lots of projectiles in particular
  • Major improvements to the performance of many skills
  • Capped the visual size of Runic Blade so you can still see it when you scale it
  • Fixed a bug with Fireballs being destroyed occasionally incorrectly
  • Fixed a rare bug where Servants of Erebus and the Hero's Descent minions could heal a boss
  • Improved the behavior of mouseover effects like pop-up health bars

  • Greatly improved the performance for builds using large numbers (100+) of minions
  • Fixed one minor memory leak caused by tracking large numbers of projectiles
  • Pets now inherit sources of ailment repeat, such as "Shocks repeat 3 additional times"
  • Improved the DPS display on the Run Results screen
  • Improved how the DPS Test Dummy handles frame rate drops and pausing the game, which should increase the accuracy of the meter
  • Fixed one potential source of damage overflow causing bosses to heal
  • Fixed a bug where Astral Bite was scaling after snapshotting damage, allowing it to easily deal 10^38 damage in lategame situations. Was Beastmaster stronger than we thought all along?
  • Fixed a potential softlock involving using Blade Amalgam in a boss arena

  • Fixed a bug where equipping Erebus' Unwavering Punishment could cause you to take extra damage from monsters
  • Fixed a bug where offhand items were not displaying in the Unique Codex
  • Further expanded the accuracy of boss life calculations, ensuring that it's even tracked if you deal 1 damage to a 10e38 life boss (please don't try to win a fight like this!)
  • Increased the numbers on a bunch of Hunting tree skills
  • Fixed some mod tags on new uniques
  • Fixed one skill tree unlock requirement not functioning properly
  • Fixed the layout of the initial startup options window

[p]Hello fellow loot enjoyers! It's been an exciting few months since the Early Access Release of Don't Die, Collect Loot. In the spirit of the season, I wanted to let you all know how thankful I am for the warm reception of the game and the incredible feedback you've all given. It means the world to me![/p][p][/p][p]As a small token of my thanks, I've added a special surprise to Don't Die, Collect Loot that will run for the next month or so![/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Next time you enter the game, you'll find that the Nexus is a bit more...festive than usual! But, that's not the only surprise! Four new holiday-themed unique items will start dropping in all content. These items scale to the difficulty level you're playing on, so there should be something for everyone to enjoy! Take a look at this one item, leveraging a new system that's been waiting to be used:[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][p]Not only does The Jolly Singularity have pretty decent stats, but it also lets you use a special Ultimate Ability as long as it's equipped! You'll have to play to find out more, of course. This special feature was designed for some uniques in an upcoming content update, but I felt it would be fun to give you all a bit of a teaser now.[/p][p][/p][p]As always, I'm continuing to work on the next big content drop, which I can now confirm will include the new ranged class! Please look forward to it, and in the meantime, try not to die while collecting some holiday-themed loot![/p][p][/p][p]As with any EA patch, this update also comes with a slew of community-reported bugfixes.[/p][p][/p][p]Patch Notes:[/p]

  • Doubled the chance to Tame monsters granted by the "More Swiping" skill
  • Fixed a bug where using The Cavalry in the Halls of Glory could glitch out the skill
  • Ultimates now cool down every 10 seconds in the Halls of Glory in order to make testing new setups less tedious
