[p]Seasons greetings, Heroes![/p][p]We have a special announcement to kick things off: We can now confirm we are on track for an Early Access release in Q2 2026![/p][p]We simply can't wait to share the many gameplay changes, improvements, and polish that we've been cooking up. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your support. As a team of two, we truly couldn't do this without your feedback and enthusiasm.[/p][p]Now, onto the update! We’ve been hard at work adding a major new layer of depth to your runs, repainting the world, and squashing some pesky bugs. This update introduces the new Blessings system, a complete visual overhaul of the Whispering Wildwoods, and a significant balance pass on cards and artifacts.[/p][p][/p][p][/p][p][/p][h3]New Feature: Blessings[/h3][p]We are introducing a new way to gain power from the Aspects. Eternium battles now drop Offerings, which you can offer to the Aspects to receive their favor. You have a chance of gaining a Blessing (a powerful passive effect) or Max HP for the hero who gave the offering.[/p][p]Boltrik[/p]
  • [p]Tinker Tailor Solder: When added, gain 3 Backpack slots and obtain 1 random Tinker gems. You can now loot Tinker gems from gem rewards.[/p]
  • [p]Jury Rigging: At the start of battle, Craft 5: Summon a random summon beside Boltrik.[/p]
  • [p]Supply Chain: When added, gain 100 Gold. Card and Artifact rewards offer 1 additional reward to choose from.[/p]
[p]Flint[/p]
  • [p]Tactical Luck: Whenever Flint gains Strategy, add a Happy Accident to your hand.[/p]
  • [p]Daily Briefing: At the start of each Day, apply Briefing (Strike) to your Slayer or Briefing (Hold) to your Defender at random. Remove any existing Briefing.[/p]
  • [p]Flanking Maneuver: The leftmost Utility in your hand that gives Armor gives 1 more. The rightmost Attack in your hand deals 1 more damage.[/p]
[p]Haldor[/p]
  • [p]Forgemaster: Whenever you upgrade a card at Camp, attach a random gem.[/p]
  • [p]Ancestral Plating: Whenever Haldor is attacked, deal damage equal to his Armor to the attacker.[/p]
  • [p]Thunderstruck: Whenever Haldor taunts, gain 3 Electrified and trigger its damage without consuming it.[/p]
[p]Kaelin[/p]
  • [p]Predator’s Mercy: Add 3 Barbed Arrows for Kaelin to your deck. Remove ALL Shoots from your deck.[/p]
  • [p]Tricks of the Shade: Whenever Kaelin enters Stealth, add a random 0-cost Utility to your hand.[/p]
  • [p]Pack Hunt: Kaelin can now Hunt at camp instead of Rest. Okulus and Ekira summons gain 1 additional Might whenever Kaelin hunts.[/p]
[p]Zorya[/p]
  • [p]Starbrand: Whenever Zorya deals Radiance damage, apply 2 Burning to each enemy hit.[/p]
  • [p]Diurnal Cadence: Increase Radiance max stacks by the current Day number.[/p]
  • [p]Moonseer: Mystery encounter cards now reveal if they are Events. Whenever you enter an Event, gain 25 Gold.[/p]

  • [p]Whispering Wildwoods: We have officially set the tone we've been aiming for in the Northanda Chronicles. This includes repainted backgrounds and completely redesigned environments.[/p]

Seeds of Mastery - Demo Update

Alright, everyone, patch time for the demo! We've been poring over your feedback and working hard to get fixes and improvements in. This update's all about making the demo even smoother and more fun to play!

[h2]Gameplay[/h2]
  • Added seeded randomness:
    - You can input your own seed when selecting your party in the Sanctuary.
    - You can now also view your current seed in the settings menu.
  • Added difficulty modes:
    - Explorer: A more lighthearted experience. Try out that wild combo you just couldn't pull off otherwise.
    - Adventurer: The standard difficulty you've been playing.
    - Master: You’ll need to complete Adventurer to unlock this tougher challenge.
    - Voidwalker: Truly VERY difficult, for those who mastered Master!
    - Unlocked difficulties are per party, meaning you’ll need to prove your mastery with every party combination to unlock and defeat Voidwalker difficulty for that party!

  • Scraw Saw+: Damage increased from 5 to 6.
  • Daybreak: Radiance increased from 3 to 5.
  • Daybreak+: Cost reduced from 1 to 0.
  • Scavenge Scrap+: Scrap gained increased from 2 to 5.

  • Staff of Regeneration: Now also heals on pickup.
  • Pendant of Empathy: Now also gives Armor for Area-of-Effect attacks.
  • Token of Friendship (Reworked): For every 5 Mana spent by the party in a single turn, ALL heroes gain 1 Strength.
  • Battle Mage Cuirass: Rarity changed from Rare to Uncommon.
  • Tempest Star: Damage increased from 2 to 3.
  • Added: Artisan's Edge
    - The first Attack you play each battle deals 5 additional damage.
  • Added: Dream Orb
    - At the start of battle, add an Insight for your Support to your hand.
  • Added: Tiny Blades
    - Your 0-cost Attack cards deal 1 additional damage.
  • Added: Limitless Gauntlet
    - Ruby, Sapphire, and Obsidian gem effects are increased by 1.
  • Added: Spare Anvil
    - At the start of battle, gain 1 Reinforced.
  • Added: Dawn Digger
    - If your first encounter of the Day is a battle, it grants 1 additional gem as loot.

  • Fixed a rare situation where cards could hit the wrong target when using touch screens.
  • Fixed various animation related bugs and timing inconsistencies.

  • Shield Unit: Now also gives Armor for Area-of-Effect attacks.

  • Reworked Internal Offers, and added a Gold option to get Strapzix Bootkin.
  • Reworked Bag Bluff and Beyond with new trade-off options.
  • Reworked Spoiled for Choice with new trade-off options.
  • Reworked writing and text formatting for all events.

  • Deck and hand animations have been reworked and improved.
  • Redesigned and animated shop and camp cards.
  • Better run bar health counters and feedback for gaining status effects or healing/losing health when outside of battle.

The Aspects - Demo Update

Hey everyone!

We're excited to release this update. We've made a bunch of gameplay tweaks, added a new feature called Shrines, which add a meaningful decision point before boss encounters, and improved the UI across the board. We've also overhauled the Empower screen, which is now way more informative and much easier to use.

[h2]Gameplay[/h2]
  • Added Dungeon Shrine:
    - Encountered just before the boss.
    - Awaken the Shrine to release the spirit of the dungeon and cleanse its corruption, consuming all remaining Lumina Kindlings and healing all heroes for 40% of their Max HP per Kindling used.
  • Quest rewards are now available at the Shrine, instead of the next Camp.


[h2]UI/UX[/h2]
  • Improved backpack polish and usability, including adding item dragging.
  • Right-clicking a card now previews upgrades for that card, in most contexts.
  • Added the ability to toggle a hero's active starting artifact directly in the artifact select screen.
  • Reworked the Empower screen to show upgrade tracks for heroes more clearly.
  • Starting decks can now be viewed for a hero (by role) in the Empower screen.


[h2]Audio[/h2]
  • Fixed overlapping audio in Cause and Effect, caused by a large number of card upgrades.


[h2]Gems[/h2]
  • Emerald rework: When an Attack card with Emerald deals damage, gain Gold equal to the damage dealt, then Deplete it.
  • Kafinium: Stamina bonus increased from 1 to 2.


[h2]Artifacts[/h2]
  • Nyssa’s Truthglass: Whenever your draw pile is replenished, add a copy of the bottom card to your hand.
  • Kobold’s Cache: Upon pickup, gain 5 Backpack slots.
  • Battlemage Cuirass: At the end of your turn, heroes with no Mana gain 3 Armor.

  • Added a new event: Kobold Mine.


[h2]Cards[/h2]
  • Dwarven Greed: Cost increased from 1 to 2.
  • Dwarven Greed+: now has Innate.
  • Reinforce+: Armor reduced from 8 to 7.
  • Meteor Shard: Now also draws a card.
  • Whispering Wind: Cost increased from 0 to 1.
  • Okulus: Cost reduced from 1 to 0.
  • Explode: Stamina cost reduced from 5 to 3.
  • Explode+: Removed Loyal keyword. Might increased from 5 to 8.
  • Electroplating+: Cost increased from 0 to 1. Stacks increased from 1 to 2.
  • Cleave: Damage increased from 9 to 10.
  • Added a new starter card for Zorya (Support):
    - First Light: Heal 3 HP. If the target has full HP, give 5 Armor instead. Deplete.
  • Added a new starter card for Flint (Support):
    - Opportunist: Put a card from your discard pile on top of your draw pile. Draw 2 cards. Deplete.


[h2]Bugs[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue where dungeon generation could create duplicate fights.
  • Fixed a tooltip for Backup Plan not displaying the amount of Mana gained.

  • Adjusted strings for improved clarity.
