Here are the major issues that were found for The First Descendant in December.

We will continually update this notice with any additional issues and bugs that are found, as well as any impactful issues identified before December. Please keep track of the updates during your gameplay.

[December 22th]
■ An issue where Valby’s “Tidal Wave” skill deals an abnormally high amount of damage when passing through Colossus.
- This issue will be fixed in the 1.2.4 patch.

[December 18th]
■ [English] Mislabeling of Skin Set for male Descendant as "Unisex" in the Store
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in January 2025. Players who purchased the skin due to this mislabeling can request a refund.
- Details on how to request a refund will be provided in the "January Known Issues" notice when the fix is implemented.

■ Abnormal Display of Event UI through ‘Ingris Search Device’
- An issue has been identified where the event UI is displayed abnormally when accessed through the 'Ingris Search Device.'
- Please note that the event UI displays correctly when accessed via the 'Game Menu.'

■ Stiffness Occurs During the Mining Device Appearance in 'Gluttony'
- An issue has been identified where a stiffness effect occurs during the mining device appearance sequence while playing the 'Gluttony' Interception mission.
- This issue will be resolved in the Hotfix 1.2.3 patch.

■ Inability to Obtain Battle Pass 'Bonus Coins'
- An issue has been identified where 'Bonus Coins' are not granted when clicking the 'Obtain Bonus Coins' button in the Battle Pass UI after reaching Season Level 96.

[December 16th]
■ (Resolved) An issue where the trap mechanism for Dread Armor Commando of the Void Vessel does not activate properly
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the Hotfix 1.2.2 patch.

■ (Resolved) An issue where the junk filter resets when reconnecting to The First Descendant via "Go to the Last Played Map" after a forced shutdown
- This issue is scheduled to be fixed in the Hotfix 1.2.2 patch.

■ (Resolved) An issue where the "Number of Purchases" is displayed as 0 on the purchase page for certain items, despite having a purchase history
- If you have already purchased an item that can only be bought once, you will not be able to repurchase it even if the "Number of Purchases" is displayed as 0.
- The "Number of Purchases" display is scheduled to be removed in the Hotfix 1.2.2 patch.

[December 12th]
■ (Resolved) Descendant's Motion Locked in a Diagonal Stance at Certain Locations
- This issue is scheduled to be quickly fixed through a hotfix. Until the fix is applied, please use the following methods to restore the normal stance:
ㄴ If occurring in Albion: Move to the "City Entrance."
ㄴ If occurring during combat: Move to an Outpost or use Grappling Hook.

■ Daily Battle Pass Challenge Includes Uncompletable Mission
- On December 12 (Thu), a mission to "Sell Blueprints to ETA-0" was incorrectly included in the Daily Battle Pass Challenges.
- When including time-limited missions in the Daily Battle Pass Challenges, we will make adjustments to align with the corresponding schedule for proper participation.

■ (Resolved) Descendant Health UI Displayed in Albion
- An issue has been identified where the Descendant's Health UI is displayed in Albion.

■ (Resolved) [PC] Game Freezes When Clicking an Empty Slot After Removing Target Reward.
- We have identified an issue on the PC platform where the game freezes when clicking an empty slot in the 'Target Reward List' after removing Target Reward.
- This issue will be resolved in the upcoming Hotfix 1.2.2 patch.

[December 11th]
■ (Resolved) Issue with Incorrect Pricing When Purchasing Bundle Items Already Partially Owned
- We have identified an issue where the discount rate was not correctly applied when purchasing a bundle containing items already partially owned.
- This resulted in the bundle being available at a slightly lower price than intended due to the incorrect discount calculation. The proper discount rate will be applied following the Hotfix 1.2.2 update.

■ Issue with 'Preview in Field' Button Displayed in Descendant Spawn Settings UI
- It has been identified that the 'Preview in Field' button is displayed in the bottom right corner of the 'Descendant Skin' > 'Spawn' UI.
- Please note that clicking the 'Preview in Field' button in this UI does not allow for camera control.

[December 10th]
■ (Resolved) Discount Amount Not Displayed Correctly in Bundle 'Details' View in the Store
- When checking the 'Details' of a bundle currently on discount while owning some of its items, the displayed discount amount in the text below is not showing correctly.
ㄴ The following text is affected: The cost will be reduced by { } depending on sale or ownership status.
- This issue is limited to the incorrect display of the discount amount in the details text. The actual discount is properly applied and reflected in the purchase button's displayed Caliber price.

■ (Resolved) Issue with Awards Counting During Fellow Level-Up
- An issue has been identified where awards requiring the condition ;Fellow Level Reached; are not being properly counted during Fellow level-up progression.

[December 6th]
■ (Resolved) Issue with Accessing the ETA-0 Shop on Specific Servers
- An issue has been identified where the ETA-0 shop is inaccessible on certain servers.

■ (Resolved) Discount Not Applied When Purchasing Fellow Bundles While Already Owning Some Items
- An issue has been confirmed where discounts are not properly applied when purchasing Fellow Bundles while already owning some of the included items. This issue will be resolved through the hotfix patch 1.2.0c.
- Caliber consumed due to this issue will be refunded. Details regarding the refund schedule will be provided in a separate notice.
- (Additional) This issue is planned to be fixed in the Hotfix 1.2.2 patch. To prevent confusion among Descendants before the fix, the text has been temporarily removed in the Hotfix 1.2.1 patch.

[December 5th]
■ (Resolved) Arche Motion Sensor " Mission in Echo Swamp - Monsters Occasionally Cannot Be Defeated
- An issue has been identified in the Echo Swamp region where the "Arche Motion Sensor" mission may occasionally fail to clear, even after all monsters are defeated.

■ (Resolved) Unable to Progress in the ‘Anais' Call’ Mission
- An issue has been identified where the ‘Anais' Call’ mission cannot be completed, preventing progress in the ‘Inversion Reinforcement’ process.
- Please note that this issue can be resolved by moving to the title screen and reconnecting.

■ (Resolved) Issue with Target Reward Settings for Items Obtainable in the Void Vessel
- When setting items obtainable in the Void Vessel as Target Reward, all acquisition sources at the corresponding difficulty levels are being set.
Example: If the item "Keelan Spiral Catalyst Blueprint" is set as Target Reward under Void Vessel [Normal] difficulty's "Imperfect Data Vault", the focus setting also applies to "Lost Data Vault" and "Restricted Data Vault" at the same difficulty level.

■ (Resolved) Incorrect Skin Name Display When Clicking “See Details” for the Ultimate Sharen ‘Elite Assassin’ Body Skin
- In the shop under Ultimate Descendant – Ultimate Descendant Skins tab, when clicking “See Details” for the ‘Elite Assassin’ body skin included in the Ultimate Sharen Full body Skin, the skin name is displayed incorrectly.

■ Preview Issue for Default Hair When Selecting Makeup with Certain Head Skins Equipped
- When equipping certain head skins that cover the face and selecting makeup items in the shop, the preview does not display the default hair of the Descendant.

■ (Resolved) Button Input Issue When Removing Target Reward in the Item Acquisition Info Tab
- An issue was found where removing Target Reward in the Item Acquisition Info tab applies the change immediately upon button click.
- This issue will be fixed in Hotfix 1.2.1 to allow Target Reward removal via a hold-button mechanism.

■ (Resolved) Issue: Ability to View and Target Previous Optimization Conditions in the Ultimate Tier Reactor List
- Before the Season 2 update, some ultimate tier Reactors with optimization conditions set to "When using individual weapons" can still be viewed and have targets set in the information browsing section.
- Since the Season 2 update, the optimization condition for ultimate tier Reactors has been changed to "When using weapon group", and these reactors can no longer be obtained.

■ (Resolved) Shields Applied to ‘Vulgus War-Slave’ in Certain Segments of the Fortress Special Operation Hard Difficulty
- In the Fortress Special Operation: Albion Resource Defense at Hard difficulty, shields have been applied to the ‘Vulgus War-Slave monsters in certain segments.

■(Resolved) Season Level Purchase Popup Displayed After Reaching Battle Pass Level 96
- After reaching Battle Pass level 96 and claiming all rewards, a Season Level Purchase popup may appear upon clicking the " Claim Rewards per Page" button before reaching level 97.
- Attempting to make a purchase through the popup does not result in any actual transaction.

■ (Resolved) Unable to Apply Dye to the ‘Prepared Speedster’ Skin
- An issue has been identified where dye cannot be applied to the ‘Prepared Speedster’ skin.

■ (Resolved) Unable to Clear the Vespers ‘Captured Base’ Mission
- During the Vespers region’s ‘Captured Base’ mission, the mission does not clear even after defeating all the monsters.

■ (Resolved) Intermittent Inability to Clear the Echo Swamp ‘Arche Motion Sensor’ Mission
- In the Echo Swamp region’s ‘Arche Motion Detector’ mission, the mission may intermittently not clear even after defeating all monsters.

■ (Resolved) ‘Cutlasser’ Monster Failing to Detect Descendants in the Vespers ‘Captured Base’ Mission
- During the Vespers region’s ‘Captured Base’ mission, the ‘Cutlasser’ monster fails to detect Descendants.

■ (Resolved) Escort Drone Fails to Move if Descendants Are Not Nearby in the Vespers ‘Ruins Path’ Mission
- In the Vespers region’s ‘Ruins Path’ mission, the Escort Drone does not move if Descendants are not positioned nearby.

■ (Resolved) [PS/XBOX] Abnormal Screen Display When Accessing the Customization Menu via the Ring Menu
- On PS and XBOX platforms, entering the Customization menu via the ring menu causes the screen to display abnormally.

■ Issue with Temporary Visual Abnormalities When Equipping Certain Head Skins
- An issue has been identified where the appearance of a character may temporarily display abnormally when certain head skins are equipped.

■ [PS5] Voice Chat Issue When Creating a Party on PS4 Platform
- It has been identified that voice chat does not function properly when creating a party on the PS4 platform.

■ Intel CPU Issue.
- Crashes have been reported on some Intel 13th and 14th generation CPUs.
- On PCs using these CPUs, the game may forcefully shut down with an error message stating 'Out of video memory' when launched.
This issue can be partially resolved by adjusting power limits in the BIOS.
- We are awaiting a response from Intel regarding this issue, and we are sharing Intel's official response for your reference.

■ Temporary solutions for client termination issues with certain antivirus Programs
- We have requested for exceptions for The First Descendant to antivirus programs, but some have not been implemented. Below are temporary solutions for this problem.
(1) ‘Bitdefender’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to System Protection > Advanced Threat Detection (ATD) > Manage Exclusions menu, select the file or folder for The First Descendant, and save.
(2) ‘McAfee Agent’ Temporary Solution [FAQ]
- Go to McAfee Security > Navigation > Quarantined and Trusted Items, select TheFirstDescendant.exe from the quarantined programs list, and restore it.

■ Solutions for ‘Easy Anti-Cheat’ not functioning correctly
- If Easy Anti-Cheat malfunctions, refer to the FAQ for solutions. If the issue persists, please contact customer support with relevant screenshots.

Here are the details for The First Descendant Update 1.2.0.

New Episode: Void Chaser


- An unknown ship has been found abandoned at the Void Abyss where radars could not penetrate. Severely mutated Colossi were also detected to be on the move.
- “Void Chaser,” the new episode of Season 2, adds a new main quest and various content related to the Void and Colossus.
- The new main quest, "Void Vessel Alarm", can be started by talking to Nell at the Headquarters after reaching Mastery Rank 8.
- Even if you proceed with the Void Vessel main quest first, the progress of your existing main quest will remain unchanged.
※The “Bastion of Eternity” progresses independently from the main quest. The disappeared Vulgus fleet and Karel’s schemes will return soon.

New Content: Void Vessel


- Including Vulgus vessels destroyed while crossing dimensions, the Void Space has many drifting spaces. These potential threats called the ‘Void Vessel’ require investigation operations of the Descendants.
- The new content, the “Void Vessel Investigation Operation,” can be started after completing the “Unidentified Void Vessel Exploration Operation.”
- Features of the Void Vessel Operation are as follows.
ㄴ Various Champion Vulgus: Champion effects such as “Legion Shield” that can be destroyed with Descendant Skills, “Arche Obstruction” that can only be destroyed with firearms are added.
ㄴ Void Vessel Commander “Dread Armor Force” has been added as a new commander Vulgus.
ㄴ One from three random paths are chosen for the Void Vessel Operation.
ㄴ You can acquire blueprints and materials for Fellow Enhancement Item research, materials for Keelan research, and Crystallization Catalyst research materials by inboxes that can be found on your way.
ㄴ Various tiers of Data Vaults appear per the Commander defeat time, and you can acquire research blueprints, code for the new Descendant Keelan or Fellow, and Crystallization Catalyst research material.
ㄴ If you already own a Fellow, the reward acquisition chance of Data Vault changes.
- A Decryption Key is needed to open an Inbox. Completing Void Vessel Misson allows you to acquire Decryption Keys.

- The new Descendant “Keelan” is added.
ㄴ You can acquire research blueprints, codes, and materials from the Void Vessel.

Keelan Skills
- Erosion: Using the skill increases the “Acidic Infusion Level” and grants “Agility” at every certain number of times. “Agility” effect increases the Skill Power and Movement Speed with each stack.
- Void Corrosion: Target an enemy to fire “Void Corrosion” and inflict “Acidic Decay” to the hit target. As the “Effect Range” increases, the number of “Max Target Count” increases, inflicting “Additional DMG” to enemies that are already affected by “Acidic Decay.”
- Onslaught: Dash forward to deal Damage to the pierced target and cause an explosion when completed to deal “Damage” and “Knockback” to nearby enemies. It inflicts “Acidic Decay” effect to the hit target and “Additional DMG” to enemies that are already affected by “Acidic Decay.” “Stack Cooldown” is decreased by a certain amount per the number of enemies pierced. While dashing, you do not receive DMG from some traps.
- Septic Gust: Deal Damage and inflict “Acidic Decay” to enemies within the range. Enemies already inflicted with “Acidic Decay” get “Blood Rot” effect. Enemies inflicted with “Blood Rot” explode after a certain period of time, dealing damage to nearby enemies.
- Tremor: If there are enemies within the range inflicted with “Acidic Decay,” deal Damage in proportion of the stacks count of the target’s “Acidic Decay.” If there are no enemies within range affected by “Acidic Decay,” the current stacks of "Onslaught" will increase.

Skill Module
- Focus on Prey: “Void Corrosion” is converted to target a single target rather than multiple targets with an increased “Fire Count.” The “Max Stacks” of “Acidic Decay” is increased, increasing the peak of “Tremor” by the “Acidic Decay” stacks count.
- Mobile Strike: Converts “Septic Gust” to grant “Adventurous Spirit” to the player rather than dealing Damage. While “Adventurous Spirit” is in effect, using “Onslaught” does not decrease the stacks count, and causing additional “Continuous Damage” by granting “Accelerate Corrosion” to the pierced target.
- You can acquire Keelan Skill Module from Hard Infiltration Operation, Hard Intercept Battle, and Module Combine.

New Descendant: Ultimate Sharen



- “Ultimate Sharen” is added.
ㄴ You can acquire Blueprint and code with Amorphous Material.
ㄴ You can acquire Research Material from Infiltration Operation.

Skill Modules
- Area Suppression: “Flash Shortsword” is converted to throw “Daggers” to nearby enemies. “Daggers” pierce through enemies to a certain level. Hit targets get “Electrocution” debuff, and with a “Critical Hit,” the “Cooldown” is recovered by a certain amount by the hit count.
- Ambushed: “Movement Speed” increases in the “Active Camouflage” state. When you kill an enemy or deal a Critical Hit on an enemy, you regain “Active Camouflage” state with a set chance. “Shock Nuts” is converted to “Frangible Rounds” that deal Damage by hitting enemies, inflicting “Electrocution” to the target.
- You can acquire Ultimate Sharen Skill Module from Hard Difficulty Intercept Battle and Module Combine.

Addition of Ultimate Sharen Amorphous Material
- Amorphous Material Patterns 003, 005, 016, 051, 077, 086, 093, 101, 109, 110-Variant AA, 117, and 124 can no longer be acquired.
ㄴ You can continue using the Amorphous Materials you already have as before.
- Added the “AC variants" of Amorphous Material Patterns 003, 005, 016, 051, 077, 086, 093, 101, 109, 110, 117, and 124.
ㄴ You can acquire Ultimate Sharen’s “Enhanced Cell Blueprint,” “Stabilizer Blueprint,” “Spiral Catalyst Blueprint,” and “code” with the Amorphous Material.

New Ultimate Equipment: Voltia


- You can acquire Voltia Equipment from Battle Pass.
Unique Ability - Chain Current
- Discharge “Chain Current” that links targets within a certain range when hitting on a target to deal damages to all linked targets.
- “Chain Current” deal “Additional DMG” to targets with “Anti-Void Shield” and “Anti-Arche Shield.” Enhancing Unique Abilities increases the chain count and shortens trigger cooldown.


New Ultimate Equipment: Hammer and Anvil


- You can acquire Blueprint and code with Amorphous Material.
- You can acquire Research Material from Infiltration Operation.

Unique Abilities - Multiple Barrels
- Press “Aim” button to change the weapon firing method rather than “aiming” to convert the “Ammo” fired per to the “Barrel.”
- “Smoothbore Barrel - Hammer” fires “Kuiper Shells.”
- “Rifled Barrel - Anvil” fires “Gyrojet Explosive Rounds.”
ㄴ “Gyrojet Explosive Rounds” inflict “Speed Reduction” to hit targets upon explosion. A larger damage is dealt when “max range explosion” compared to “collision explosion,” firing additional “Kuiper Shells” at the explosion point.

Addition of Hammer and Anvil Amorphous Material
- Amorphous Material Patterns 011-Variant AA, 025, 040, 053, 057, 069, 081-Variant AA, 091, 097-Variant AB, 099, 121, and 124 can no longer be acquired.
ㄴ You can continue using the Amorphous Materials you already have as before.
- Added the “AC variants" of Amorphous Material Patterns 011, 025, 040, 053, 057, 069, 081, 091, 097, 099, 121, and 124.
ㄴ You can acquire Hammer and Anvil’s Polymer Syncytium Blueprint, Synthetic Fiber Blueprint, Nano Tube Blueprint, and Hammer and Anvil Blueprint from these Amorphous Materials.

New Modules
- New Ultimate Firearm Modules are added to the newly added “Battle Proficiency” Group, not the existing “Special Mod” Group.
- They can be equipped together with the existing Ultimate Firearm Modules, so we diversified the range of options to offer an even better efficiency in certain situations depending on your choices of combination.
- Please note that the descriptions of the new Modules in the "Battle Proficiency" group are based on their effects at the maximum enhancement level.




- You can acquire it from Void Vessel, Abyssal Intercept Battle, and Module Combine.


Fellow




- A new Fellow “Hagios Sheepdog” has been added.
ㄴ You can acquire research blueprints, codes, and materials of Hagios Sheepdog from the Void Vessel.

Interact
- You can interact with the new Fellow. Enjoy the diverse aspects of the Fellow.

Growth
- Fellow can acquire EXP through Enhancement Items and “Level Up” with it.
- Enhancement Items can be acquired by research with research blueprint and materials from Void Vessel.

Abilities
- Grant Module Drop Chance Increase Modifier.
ㄴ The stats increases gradually per the growth.
- Item Auto Pickup: Automatically pickup items in the Consumable and Inventory within a certain range.

Target Reward


- Target Reward system has been added for guaranteed item acquisition.
- If you have failed to acquire the targeted item even after completing the content set as Target Reward for a certain number of times, the item acquisition will be guaranteed.
ㄴ You may set Core Materials and Amorphous Materials as target items. You may designate up to 4 items.
ㄴTarget Reward settings can be set in the Item Acquisition Info (F).
ㄴ Content that can be set as Target Reward include Infiltration Operation, Special Operation, Outpost, and Intercept Battle. Their registration availability is displayed where they are acquired.


Void Abyss Intercept Battle


- “Infernal Walker” has been added with the Void Abyss Intercept Battle. The Colossus appearing in the Abyss has a much stronger power.
- To intercept “Infernal Walker,” you must reach “Mastery Rank 18” and clear the “The Most Powerful Colossus” quest.


Infernal Walker

- Unlike the Frenzied mod of the existing Colossi, Abyssal Colossi have even more formidable attacks and defense abilities with their stats enhanced with the “Void Reflux.”
- “Infernal Walker” that entered the “Void Reflux” mode regenerates the destroyed parts. You can deal Damage or destroy and remove parts to reduce the “Void Depth Gauge” to stop the “Reflux.”
- Rather than normal attacks, use “Chill,” the attribute that the “Infernal Walker” is vulnerable to.
- “Quality Certified ETA Voucher” acquired by clearing Abyssal Intercept Battle can be used at ETA-0 Shop.
- Quality Certified ETA Voucher is removed at the end of the season.

Reactor Max Enhancement Level UP

- For Reactors’ Tier 3 to 5 enhancement, you need “Dimension Analyzer.”
ㄴ Dimension Analyzers can be acquired through Research. To perform Research, you need Quantum Incubator, Ion Accelerator, and Precision Ion Accelerator.
ㄴ Quantum Incubator can be acquired from Abyssal Intercept Battle, Hard Difficulty Special Operation, and Void Vessel.

End of Season 1 Battle Pass

- Season 1 Battle Pass, Battle Supply Shop, and Bonus Shop will be closed.

- If you have any leftover Supply Coins, the remaining items in the Battle Supply Shop will be automatically purchased and received in order.

Advanced Shape Stabilizer

- Added Advanced Shape Stabilizers 1-8.
- Used to shape Amorphous Materials, and the designation number of the Advanced Shape Stabilizer usable for each Amorphous Material is the same as the designation number of the normal Shape Stabilizer.

(2) Missions

- Changed the objectives for field missions and infiltration operations, and improved monster placement.

Escort Missions
ㄴ Fixed the drone to move automatically even when you are not near them.
ㄴ The drone moves slower when you are not near them.
ㄴ Your Shield no longer drains when you are near the drone.
ㄴ You no longer have to defend the drone after completing the escort.
ㄴ Adjusted the escort travel distance for some missions to reduce the escort duration.

Defense Missions
ㄴ Defeating all monsters that spawn in a Defense Mission now completes the mission immediately.
ㄴ Same as Resource Defense Special Operations.

Multi-Assassination Missions
ㄴ The next wave of monsters now appear immediately when all monsters are defeated.
ㄴ Reduced the wait time caused by monster spawn animations.

Occupation Missions
ㄴ Reduced missions with 2 or more consecutive occupations to 1 occupation or replaced with Extermination.
ㄴ Reduced the time required for occupation and changed the mission time limit to 5 minutes.
ㄴ Increased the occupation range for some missions.

Miscellaneous
ㄴ Changed the locations where monsters spawn and spread out in all directions.
ㄴ Monsters that are difficult to deal with no longer spawn in multiple numbers simultaneously.
- Lowered the difficulty of missions in Invasion quests so that they don't block progression.
ㄴ Changed the location of gimmick platforms to make it easier to progress.
ㄴ Decreased the proportion of ranged monsters and increased the proportion of melee monsters to help players respond to them during gimmicks.

(3) Customization

Paint Feature
- Added more paintable targets
ㄴ The default Descendant head and body skins can now be painted.
ㄴ The default weapon skins can now be painted.
ㄴ Chest and back attachments can also be painted.

- Individual paint application
ㄴ Painted skins equipped by Descendants can now be saved individually.
ㄴ The same common skin can be painted and saved in different colors for each Descendant that equips it.
ㄴ Descendants that have Regular and Ultimate versions can also have their painted skins saved separately.

Paint Sorting Improvement
- The paints that have been applied to skins are now displayed at the top of the Paint list.


(4) Matchmaking Improvements
- To improve the matching experience, the matchmaking logic has been changed as follows:
Reduced network latency range when matching
ㄴ When matchmaking is requested, users in nearby areas will be searched first, and the range will gradually expand.
ㄴ Previously, the maximum search range was set somewhat wide, but the latency search criteria has been strictly revised to ensure that the most neighboring regions are allocated for searching.

Added same-platform priority matching logic
ㄴ Added a logic that prioritizes same-platform matching for matchmaking requests.
ㄴ This prioritizes matching with the same platform during the matching wait time, and matching gradually expands to other platforms over time.

# Producer's Comment

We've analyzed the matchmaking data from last season and improved the logic as above.
First, we've narrowed the search range to prioritize matches with neighboring regions, which we hope will reduce the number of matches that experience server lag (network latency).
However, our simulation results showed that this could slightly increase the matching time, but we expect this will provide a smoother playing experience than before, so we've made this change.

And we were originally going to add the cross-play on/off option to the PC platform.
But simulations indicate that the resulting matching pool would be extremely fragmented, so we decided to improve the matching logic first rather than adding the option.
Simulations of the same-platform priority matching suggest that it will provide a better experience than the cross-play off option.
Therefore, we decided to put the option addition on hold for now and check the matching results before making any further changes.

The Dev Team will continue to monitor the results of the changed matchmaking logic in live and make further improvements and responses as needed.


(5) Beginner Care Improvement

- Added a UI animation that highlights the Module button when there is a module in Inventory that can be equipped on your weapon but is unequipped.
- Added the "Best Module" consecutive quest, which provides Modules to Descendants who enter Hard Difficulty.
- Adjusted Normal Difficulty missions to allow repeated acquisition of items required for Gley and Enzo research.

(6) Addition of Ping System

- Added a ping system that allows you to display pins on the screen or see the pins of your squad members while playing.
- You can share your movement and attack points with your party or squad members as icons on the screen through simple controls.

- Reduced the Shield Recovery of the Commander monster Eterllick in Normal Infiltration Operation .
- Fixed the doors in Normal/Hard Infiltration Operations/Invasions to close 5 seconds after entering the Battle area.

- Intercept Battle (Normal) - Hanged Man
ㄴ Adjusted the minimum matching number of players for 'Hanged Man' to 1.
ㄴ Destroying the Hanged Man's 'Imitation Ironheart' now continuously decreases its wipe attack gauge.
ㄴ Modified the Hanged Man to move less when it uses 'Charging Laser (a laser that fires from its mouth when destroying its Charger fails)', making it easier to hit its Weak Point.
- Intercept Battle - Grave Walker, Swamp Walker, Frost Walker
ㄴ Adjusted the movement of the guided projectiles fired by Grave Walker, Swamp Walker, and Frost Walker so that they are less likely to follow the Descendant.

(8) Descendants

- Readjusted the skill performance of some Descendants.

- In the second update, we plan to change the skill mechanics of some of the Descendants listed below, which will allow us to make additional changes that were not included in this performance adjustment.

Increased Sprint Speed for the Machine Gun, Scout Rifle, Sniper Rifle, and Launcher.
ㄴ Increased Sprint Speed of Descendants when using their unique weapon.
ㄴ Capped the maximum Sprint Speed and Running Speed.

Unique Ability Adjustment

- Adjusted the reduced stats in the 'Basic Information' included in the Unique Abilities of all Ultimate Weapons to align with final enhancement level.
ㄴ If a stat is 0 at the final enhancement level, it has been removed from levels 0 to 3, and if a stat has some value at the final enhancement level, it has been adjusted to have the same value at levels 0 to 3.

- Improved the list of recommended modules to be more accurate than the existing Equip Recommended Modules.
ㄴ When you a Descendant in the Descendant menu, the improved list of recommended modules will be suggested if no modules are set.
ㄴ When recommending modules in Module mode, the improved list of recommended modules will be suggested.
- A new quest, 'Ultimate Equipment Research', will drop one item each for the Executor and Greg's Reversed Fate research.


(10) Reactor

Changes to Ultimate Reactor Optimization Conditions
- Changed the Optimization Conditions for Ultimate tier Reactors from "when using [weapon]" to 11 types of "when using xx weapon class."
Ex) When using Thunder Cage → When using Submachine Gun weapon class
- If a Reactor has duplicate Optimization Conditions, the cost of Reactor Implant will be refunded. For more information, please refer to the 'Refund Details Following the Season 2 Update' notice.
Ex) When using Thunder Cage + When using Enduring Legacy + When using Python → When using Submachine Gun weapon class + When using Machine Gun weapon class + 1 Reactor Implant cost refund

Changes to Reactor Difficulty Level Reward (Rotation Reward) Conditions
- For Difficulty Level Rewards, the round conditions have been removed from conditions for Reactors to drop in certain areas.
Ex) Reactor drops when General Round X Toxic X Tech conditions are met → Reactor drops when Toxic X Tech conditions are met
- Added Toxic X Singular and Toxic X Fusion Reactor conditions for Difficulty Level Rewards.
- Changed all Reactors that drop as Difficulty Level Rewards to Ultimate tier.

Reactor Fixed Farming Improvement
- Increased the drop rate of Reactors outside of Difficulty Level Rewards (Rotation Rewards) in Hard Missions, Outposts, and Fusion Reactors.
- Changed the Attribute type X Arche type of Reactors that are fixed drops in some Battlefields on Hard difficulty.

- Removed the cap on the number of Consumable Slots. Calibers spent to expand the number of Consumable Slots will be refunded.

- Increased the number of Research that can be conducted simultaneously from 5 to 7.
- Restricted the ability to post recruitment or applications in places (situations) where recruitment or invitations cannot take place.
ㄴ Chat is now restricted when you are in Laboratory or matchmaking for Intercept Battle, Mission: Calling of the Descendant, Special Operation, or Invasion.
- Added Auto Select, which allows selecting all 4 modules at once when combining modules, and Select All, an option that allows selecting multiple sets of modules in multiples of 4 at once.
ㄴ Auto Select and Select All are only available in the 'View Duplicate Modules' state.
- Added 'Deselect' and 'Deselect All' options so that you can immediately deselect items you have selected in the 'Selected Items' list when selling blueprints.
- Improved the Sell Blueprints screen to display the 'Owned Icon' on research materials, intermediate products, and blueprints for the Descendant selected as the starting Descendant or the Descendants purchased from the shop.
